The internal-dialog type of narration is the best. Thanks

25:30. I LOVE IT! That looks like an annoying climb, nicely done!

Hello Kevin to me its just to risky to be up a snow covered tree. Id rather not risk the chance of someone being hurt

I can appreciate that. I had the opportunity to inspect the tree prior to the snow and had already cleared it in my mind as a potential climb. But risk tolerance is definitely a personal choice. I never discredit anyone from walking away from something, fear and anxiety is not something you want in your head when making decisions. I appreciate the comment.

Enjoyed the video. A fun tree to do. Nice limbing and chunking. SRS is not the end all for climbing. You can reposition your anchor very easliy with MRS (ZigZag) by pulling out your rope and throwing it over your new anchor point. SRS is good for repositioning with secondary anchors when limb walking. And it is good for choking on spar when chunking. Although I use an adjustable friction saver with the ZigZag and it chokes nice.....and you can come down anytime and pull out your line. No need to have a long tail to pull on, etc. I use SRS to go up initially...but, change to MRS once in the tree. Much easier system (for me). JMHO (Note: Refer to Hunicke videos.) **I think your too close up to your work. Are you using wide angle?

All very good stuff. I have all of the MS paraphernalia and One to Wisconsin climbing championships with it but since moving to SRS, I haven’t gotten a single friction saver stuck😂 I do want to investigate all of the options on my GoPro. I would love it if there is a wider angle than what I’m using, but I think I’m in the west angle but maybe not, technology is not my strong suit.😂
