They even raised the backing track volume at some point during the broadcast, leading to a misunderstood belief that Jungkook was lip-syncing, but in reality, you can clearly see him singing live when watching the fan cam. One of the things about the surprise lyrics in JK‘s song was not that he used the F word so much, but how he used it. There’s plenty of swearing in all the rappers and soloists work, and even the F word in a few BTS songs, but it’s used mostly to show emotion and angst. JK used it in a sexual way. But based on the charts and accolades he’s received for the explicit version of his song, I’m thinking those of us who would prefer not to hear the F word, are in a minority. JK is doing just fine. 🤗
