With the Yamaha Zuma airbox delete I put the cone filter on the end of the throttle body and I was told by several comments and people that its not the best setup. Well here is the solution that I came up with as well as a parts list. Watch and see the install and a test ride with the new setup. You will be pleasantly surprised

I already installed that to my 49cc. And it runs pretty great!!! (I travelled like 30miles per day)

I’m pretty sure the older Zuma’s you cycle the key 3 times quickly or something and it clears the ECU then with first startup it begins sampling the AFRs and adjusting the fuel. I can’t imagine the newer model would be any different
As for a wideband o2. Check out the AEM Uego, $130 or so and it’s literally just power and ground to hook up. Put some alligator clips on the end of the two wires and boom, it’s 100% movable to anything with an o2 bung. I’ve been using this for a few years between the rucks and the Grom
Walk into any Walmart in American and in the ladies nylon hose section you can buy ankle-high stockings (in black) two for a dollar. Pow! Disposable pre-filters.
Rolling Wrench --beast mode tuner-- on RUclips he also has a vid on installing the air fuel mix tester on a Ruckus. You can rent those test tools from company that makes them for air fuel mix for fifty bucks. or buy . just google name of tester you get from Rolling Wrench video place that makes them sells and rents them. i decided to but mine, doing a aftermarket muffler and air intake next. the tuner is very cool. I was the first person to get a second gen beast mode tuner set up. Took him three tries to get the right plug to hook to injector, but he did and it rocks. tuned my stock 2019 and put 5200 miles on it and it runs great.

I think it looks way better, if your not going to use your red filter you just took off let me know how much, my ruck is red and white and its stock, you where saying in another video first thing to delete the air box, so thats what I'm going to do, thank's

I want to see more tire in the back , all the covers make me feel “hidden”
I trimmed the inner fender and the tail section the first day i brought mine home, looks a lot nicer that way!
@@tkGOHAM i did the tail right away, the inner fender keeps everything so clean though, im gonna see if it still fits with my new maxxis 6024 tires before i remove or cut mine
4 bolts to take off out the seat and under storage box would have made this a ton easier.

Do you feel like the porting/polishing of the throttle body and the pod filter make a good difference? Trying to decide if I should do the swap
did you do anything to the ECU to optimize it for the intake and exhaust mods?
I did not , I was told I di t need to modify the ECU unless I increase the size of the throttle body

So the pipe is 35mm and the air filter is 49...but it seems like you had trouble getting on so maybe buy a 50 mm filter instead?

What were the sizes you got. I.D. on the hose and Filter. I got a 16 125 Zuma and it has air box mod, re-mapped, and a clutch kit installed, but I like that intake.. Directional air is always better.

The filter size is 49 but the opening is another. I thought the same thing until I got measurements
On your gy6 ruckus are you running the air filter directly on the carburator?
