I think the stylist wanted to show her that the highlights would look good even if she straightened out her hair.

It’s cute but it’s dry and the stylist could’ve moisturized her hair more after the processes, and put curls in the final style to make it look more full of life and shiny chileeee
Anytime you lighten your hair it will be dry. Some textures more than others that’s why deep conditioning and maintaining moisture at home and at the salon are important for healthy hair
her hair will also return to normal in a few days. hair will look different after it’s freshly bleached
@@hyolyns2357 nah hair usually looks/feels better after its freshly bleached than it does the following days. In a few days her hair will feel even more dry and damaged. Thats just part of being an un natural blonde
I thought the same. I was like that hair is dry ASF honey!!! I had my hair bleached and my hair did not look stiff and dry afterward. It's about the stylist and the products used.

I was about to say that’s not blonde, that’s just light brown. But the overall process was really cute
I wouldn’t have followed up two chemical services with heat styling… that’s a ton of stress for that cuticle layer. Hope her curls are still intact!

Lord when she finished the first single process color I was like girl that’s brown not blonde but after those highlights it all came together. Important to note that blonde can be done in many ways, highlights, all over bleach, etc etc. when she said blonde I assumed it was gonna be blonde but I love the dimensions of color that really make that blonde pop

Also side note a lot of y’all need to ease up on the “they said love your natural hair but straightened it” comments. Us curly/coilies are fully capable of embracing our hair in all states. Are we not allowed variety? Do you say the same thing when a stylist takes a person with bone straight hair and curls it before they leave the salon? It’s a style, chill out.

Honestly it looks so good! Her hair doesn’t look ‘dry’ to me. The stylist really kept the integrity of her hair and a good length. Many stylists opt for less products like conditioner etc bc they want your hair to bounce more. Plus with a press her hair will get dirty fast and the weather is warm in the video. Let women enjoy the hair styles they want 😭😭
