Wild cats only attack if you have your back to them. If you look at them they will be ok. The Puma is more aggressive than a lion.

I can't believe what I just heard "if you see a lion stay still (don't run) and put your hand up in the air then make lots of noise...." I wonder how effective that is when facing a real one in the wild 😂
