- I'm a real photographer by day, and some nerd who makes videos by night.
Normally I take photos for a realty company, but due to the "social distancing" I needed a new side gig. Perfect solution = Pokemon Snap!

so I searched "photographer plays pokemon snap" and this is the only video as of right now that actually fits that description. I imagine there'll be more when the new one comes out but whatever. Anyway I wanted to ask what you think a videogame about photography should include, pokemon themed or otherwise. Obviously getting paid, and obviously the rule of thirds, but is there anything else that comes to mind?
I suppose that depends if the game is similar to Pokemon Snap. If it's an on rails "shooter" like snap is, it would add so much replayability if the courses had random events/scenes that could play out, just to make every run different.
You could keep the hidden secrets in every level all the same, but have something like a .05% chance of something spawning that isn't normally there. Maybe a 1/8000 chance of a shiny spawning in as well? 😏😂
Also adding some sort of shop rewards with the points you obtain would be neat. Spending points on different lens, or just general equipment would be a nice bonus.
Also also, a complete rework of the points system. Just because Oak makes me angry. Idk how you could make the system better, but I'm sure there's options.
