  • Here's a short video of a 50mm pocket that I adapted so I could remove and re-torque the two main hub nuts on my 1993 Mercedes 410D / HYMER S660
    T1/TN Platform/Chassis 410 D (611.417, 611.418) (72 kW / 98 hp) ( 11 / 1988 - 6 / 1995

    Hi.
    Do you need to take the half shaft out to change the back brake shoes?

      Yes you do have to take the halfshaft out to remove the hub, but it's not hard job to do, taking it out. The only problam you might have is if some of the nuts/studs are hard to get out. Other than that its straightforward.
