JR's | The Most Disappointing FNAF Fan Game
HTML-код
- Опубликовано: 31 май 2024
- JR's is a FNAF fan game that takes the original Five Nights At Freddy's animatronics like Freddy Fazbear, and makes them absolutely terrifying. A horror game that is usually hyped up to be one of the best FNAF fan games out there... Except I was extremely disappointed. Everything here is my own opinions so comment down below how you felt about it, hope you all enjoy!

Like every other game it has issues, but calling it the most disappointing seems like a huge stretch
Gotta exaggerate to bait those clicks. You probably wouldn't have watched this video if it was called 'the most okay-ish FNAF fan game', right?
I mean, the video is meant to be his way of expressing his opinion on the game. Not everyone is gonna agree with it of course, and that's fine. But in his opinion of the game, it was the most disappointed he's been with a fnaf fan game. And honestly, I agree. It only specialized in one skill tree and that is visuals, everything else is bleh.
disappointing doesn't necessarily mean that its a bad game btw
@@SenisPuckerIt is the most disappointing because of its hype and the fact it has better graphics than most but is more boring to play than FNAF one i enjoyed playing the fnas games more than jrs
@@insomniacloserxo Disappointing doesn’t mean it’s “ bad “ disappointing can also mean you expected more but you got less. For example, fnac 2 was a disappointing game to a lot of people because of its lackluster gameplay and graphics, a sequel that was demanded and was not that good, just like Jr’s, tons of people were hyped for it and then the game came… it was not good, I only watched night one and then I got bored of it.
Gotta admit, the designs are amazing. They look more realistic feeling than the original. Less like a mascot suit and more like a Showbiz Pizza type of animatronic
I basically spent 20 minutes praising the game for its graphics so I completely understand how you feel, they actually were so amazing
I love the designs I don’t like the gameplay
I get where you're coming from but besides the latex masks, they don't look like the Rock-afire or any of Creative Engineering's characters at all. They do look very good though
tf you mean these designs are awful. theyre scary but the wouldnt be appealing to any children
@r4ls3i7 well neither was show biz pizza. I did say the designs are good , definitely scarier and more realistic than fnaf 1. Just wish the actual game was scary
I wouldn’t call the game disappointing, but it does have some issues. I really enjoy the designs, I think the gameplay is neat, and the final night is a cool callback to FNaF 2
Yeah, I just forgot to mention it
It's the best night by far, although I find th Mangle part a bit easy, it's very tense
It’s just the way the animatronics were hyped up who are admittedly one of the best designed out of any fnaf fan game but it’s the fact that they are barelyyy in the game at all except for the jumpscares
@@insomniacloserxo the entire mechanic of the game is that you have to look at the animatronics
@@ureo_umbreon8601 have you played the game? The camera systems have this green filter over it so you can barely see the details of the animatronics at all so they all look very similar under the green hue
Honestly the protag hitting the ghost girl over the head with a bar before she could do any harm is probably the most proactive action i've ever seen from any protagonist dealing with ghost children. Usually the protags just cower in fear at the sight of ghost children, but that guy really just took the thought of "just kick the ghost, they're just a child" and actually did it. Not saying this as a good or bad thing, just a thing in general i wanted to point out.
I glad the developers didn't rely on that trope, however, they did follow the "holding the stupid orb" trope.
A smart thing to do
Lol dude felt like beating up children
William wants a word with you-
She's an evil spirit, it's fine.
Okay but MANGLE of all characters being the main villain of this game was such a cool choice, granted this version here is a bit closer to Ennard, but still.
Honestly I liked watching other people play it, I really love the redesigns for the animal animatronics, they look so good, but I do have to say after watching someone get through without reading the instructions and honestly that kind of broke the dillusion
I get what you mean
by any chance is the person you're referring to AstralSpiff?
@@ConfusionUwU definitely Spiff
@@ConfusionUwU of course it would be spiff

The cameras look realistic though in comparison to other fnaf games. In the 90s or similar time period, cameras wouldn't be the highest quality like we have now
@@StratilexWhile that is true, this is also a universe where someone found ways to put human conscience into a computer virus. In real life, the first restaurant with animatronics as entertainment opened in 1980. William not only made functioning animatronics by 1983, but also one with springlocks to allow humans inside. We can assume that technology in this universe is more advanced than in real life, or at least the technology associated with the Fazbear company.
@@foxenbox jr's is a fangame, so it's in a different continuity. I don't like the sci fi take of the newer games. It's not even sci fi, it's just high tech cheesiness imo
@@Stratilex I wasn’t talk about Jr’s in my comment. I was saying that in the FNAF universe, technology is probably more advanced due to William Afton’s advances. Jr’s might have more realistic cameras for the 90s, but FNAF takes place in a universe with a lot more technology than we have now, so we can assume that the cameras would be more advanced than they would’ve been IRL.
@@Stratilex Trust me, I don’t like where the newer games are going either. I feel like it’s becoming less of discovering the truths behind cruel tragedies and more about discovering abnormalities in the world that came from Afton Robotics.
Imagine getting hired and your job is just to make dead children more dead

Why does that seem like a really cool idea for a fan game?

Honestly think people's expectations were just too high. Game is great especially when compared to the other of 1000's of fnaf fan games.
Not really the flumpty series is way better especially in gameplay and more dramatic like flumpty night is insane. There’s a lot games also better than it some not well known and somewhat known like babies nightmare circus or tyke and sons lumber co.
@@mydogghost those are blatantly not the ones their talking about
@@soifonbleh majority of those are old fangames or people made by inexperienced or first time projects
@@soifonblehtyke and lumber co clear this game heck i would say it has some better deisgns that some from jr
Does every fnaf fan game that doesn’t follow the same door and lights mechanic automatically mean it’s great to you?
What stresses me out with BB in this game is the fact that his "face" is clearly separated from the eyes. It looks like a mask and that forces chills down my spine. The doll-like appearance isn't really scary for me. It is the knowledge, that there something behind that face, I really don't want to see! THAT freaks me out!
It’s my favorite design from JR’s it’s so unsettling. I never thought anyone can make Balloon Boy of all things to be creepy
When someone talks about good looking fnaf fan games, I immediately think of Tealerland. It's gorgeous, crazy to think it was made by one person. And the game loop seems very fun to me, it doesn't get stale at all and does not overstay its welcome. It's a bit short, though I find all Fnaf games to be short so that might be just a me thing.
If you like this game go play it. More people need to know about Tealerland!
Tealer land is cool and way better
I thought the animatronics were over the top goofy. 😅
I'm not the only one who kept getting slightly bugged each time he said Jay Arr's instead of Juniors right?
I can't help but feel that The Pear incident played a huge part in how this whole game turned out. The devs who are currently in charge of the game are not at fault for the mostly mixed reception. I just feel like that the negative stigma that was left from the original devs before Jrs. got dropped didn't leave a good impression on the game. I mean why would you want to go and support the devs who caused a lot of trouble for not only the FNAF community but the Fazbear Fanverse Initiative as a whole? And also the fact that they leaked Scott's private wedding photos too. I wouldn't exactly want to support that game either.
Nah afton build was good even with it drama same with pop goes even tho i hate the creator
@@gameuniverse5973 I didn't refer to Aftonbuilt or Pop Goes.

To be fair it wasn't bad or disappointing. Just kinda felt rushed with way too much hype. But my opinion is that people call it disappointing because it doesnt feel like a fnaf game. It feels like its own thing with fnaf characters. Which is basically what it was. It didnt go back to the whole formula till night 6 i think?
It was unique and it was different. I think its fair to say it "failed" at being a "fnaf" fangame but succeeded at being a fnaf "fan-game"
Isn't that literally the same thing?
NEVER LET THIS GUY COOK🗣🔥🔥☠️
LIKE BRO U NOT THE THINKER WTF U MEAN FAILED AT BEING A "FNAF" FAN GAME BUT SUCCEEDED AT BEING A FNAF "FAN GAME" THIS DOESNT MAKE ANY SENSE
I agree with that point. It’s not a “fnaf” fan game because it doesn’t share the same gameplay loop and that disappointed those who were expecting it. It succeeds at being a fnaf “fan game” because it’s still directly inspired while being its own thing.
@@motivatedman9730 Who? Me or the OP?

I laughed when the MC just swung and knocked her out. I figured that both she and Paul just assumed you wouldn't be able to touch her, failing to take into account that while you're there, you're also technically a ghost, and seeing that she can touch Paul, the Investigator can touch her too.
No im pretty sure the investigator stabbed her
Honestly I don't blame the devs. They had SO MUCH hype to answer for and it must have been a lot.
My op. on this that wasn't disappointing, It just feels rushed.
The art syle is amazing and the gameplay is unique, but it just seems that the tasks gets mundane after a while.

That sucks because I LOVE the animatronic designs. They’re so frightening and creatively fun. The new style is so engaging it inspired me to make new animatronic designs of my own. Downloading and actually playing it felt like the most mid experience ever. I hyped it up and was promptly disappointed. The mangle storyline was cool, and Paul Bear was cute. Worst part was probably how much of an asshole the OG creator was (🍐). I hope someone does take the assets and does something really cool with it.
I WANT the animatronics to be a part of the game but it felt like they were secondary in their own game, that's why it felt so disappointing. I completely understand everything you just said
the animatronics have a unique feeling that seems scary, but looks similar to actually animatronics and could be real.
One very important thing that I think no one knows is that JR's was a canceled project and after one of the creators had gotten banned off of gamejolt, so the project was never finished and this is what had been finished (from what I know at least)
Although all that did happen, the game was still in development even after the creator got banner, and development continued afterwards so it is a completed game
It is finished just by the other devs
Though a lot of stuff couldve been scrapped due to the loss of a dev, which, I could be wrong, but could’ve been what affected the story/gameplay it took, due to whatever the lost dev made and had to let go

I've finished this game yesterday, it's TOO easy, like, you have to be fast, but after you get tge hang of it, it's pretty disappointing
The nights don’t get harder either it’s just more ghosts to find which gets boring after a while…
@@insomniacloserxo Actually, there's technically a higher difficulty. The ghost enters in the animatronics faster. That's it. Literally
That’s not really harder, I get what they were going for but in practice it just seems weak
@@insomniacloserxo yeah
Although this game may not have the best gameplay, as someone who loves the mangle from the original games I was pleasantly surprised when I learned that the mangle was the “final boss” of this game.
It was really nice to see this animatronic back in the spotlight, especially since recent fnaf games just kinda forgot about them (at least to my knowledge)
in defence of the final night the reason the fnaf 2 mechanics are copied is because it is so different, it serves to tell the player "hey this is what's happening now" and let you adjust the drastic gameplay change before switching up the familiar elements with the mangle build
The reason why you were able to bonk the ghost was that, while in the barons, you are a ghost, you only enter as a spirit. So as a ghost you can bonk other ghosts
Why is ur voice so enjoyable to listen to its so nice especially ur giggle at random points in the vid
Idk JRs is one of my favorite games I’ve ever played. I think the gameplay was designed really well so that it got mixed up a decent amount. And the stability ticking down gives you a helpless feeling like you’re kinda screwed. There’s also the final night where the London bridge song legit made me panic. Something about it makes it feel like a downward spiral where I’m just screwed in general. Idk I think it was designed really well personally.
On paper it is but not reality because it literally can’t get harder. The animatronic do the same thing except for the puppet which is slightly different.the animatronic literally can’t attack you unless the stability goes all the way done I’m pretty sure. Nothing changes until night six.

I think the only issue was the story, which was a little barebones. Plus I would've wanted more horror moments with the animatronics.
I loved how it delves into supernatural horror which was what FNAF originally was until it went sci-fi. The gameplay loop was definitely repetitive, but so is FNAF, so not mutually exclusive imo. The visuals are amazing and the designs are out of this world (which we agree on).
Overall, I loved playing it, and it definitely wasn't perfect but I felt like it was very unique.
All the animatronics look like they're meant to be scary for the sake of it and not unintentionally creepy. They don't look like something you'd find irl ever. Nobody would design those for their establishment imo.
The only I can understand is foxy cause he looks the least scary and looks like an actual mascot
They look more like showbiz pizza animatronics more like actual animatronics and honestly they are withered that’s why there are bumps but if they where in bright light they will look a bit more friendly like showbiz, only if they had the latex face
I love JR's, it's my favorite FNaF fan game, the gameplay is fun and interesting, the graphics are amazing, and the story is good as well.
In what way did you enjoy the gameplay? Genuinely asking
@@insomniacloserxo I thought it was very fun collecting clues to figure out who was haunted, in a way it reminded me of Phasmaphobia. Also your video was great btw and I understand how someone may not enjoy that style of gameplay, it is a lot slower paced than other FNaF fan games imo.
@@rec7614 No the problem is that once you figure the patterns and signs to tell which animatronic is haunted the game literally becomes a slogfest. Granted it does get more challenging by making the ai more aggressive every night but that's all you get for the challenge. @@insomniacloserxofor me, the mechanic of finding which animatronic is possessed by the ghost not only nails the "personal" feeling that Scott was going for in FNaF 3 while also keeping more animatronics, but also the strategy of balancing a process of elimination for animatronics you can send to repair while looking for which animatronic is actually haunted by the 4 types of signs. It's not perfect but it engaged me way more than any other fnaf game i've played
I think we can agree that if all of FNAF 1-6 was remade with the graphics of Jr’s, it would be without a doubt terrifying and I’d have probably lost sleep over it.
i have a lil idea to make the game a bit less boring and show of more of the animatronic, make a way so they can pass infront of the door to ur office, when one will come he will look at you, if he isnt possesed, he will leave, but if he is he will kill u, what do u do then? TAZE 'EM! if he is haunted, the ghost will unposses the animatronic, but if he isnt, it will damage it, like when u make a mistake in the game
Wow that literally the way the game could actually have good gameplay
oooo, I really like that, kind of like the tazer mechanic from FNAF 6
@@insomniacloserxo yea, now it give a sense of urgency to the player, when he see a animatronic come, he must hurry to find out if he is haunted or not
Wow good idea
Am not gonna lie i thought JR'S was gonna be free roam because of the trailer
Had a theory for this game that the girl is Cassidy and Paulbear is Michael from Golden Freddy. Because of their time in Golden Freddy, they have a bond that keeps one another from moving on.
Since Cassidy has canonically been more angry than Michael, Cassidy had enough of Michael’s passiveness and left Golden Freddy’s suit to work on her own form of revenge.
For the game… The repetitiveness is also a factor of the original FNAF games, however because the designers took away the time limit and power challenge, the repetitiveness is easily annoying.
I feel like if there was more actual interaction with the animatronics this game would be a lot more satisfying, considering all the attention they put in the designs and visuals.
Just went on a binge watch of your channel and I gotta say atp I’m used to hearing your voice and reviewing these games gets me hype for the next video I watch loving your channel even though I just found you lol but can’t wait to keep hearing you
What they could have done to make the repairs better is they could have had a Salvage Phase esc mechanic. That way you can actually see the animatronics up close, and the repairs would take more than just 5 seconds.
JR’s in my opinion is my favorite FNaF Fangame aesthetically because it reminds me of liminal space and old 70’s and 80’s McDonalds commercials with Hamburglar, Ronald, Grimace and Mac Tonight. The animatronics remind me of that too. The only thing I didn’t really like or would’ve wanted is that the only time you see the animatronics is during the jumpscare and in the cameras (which don’t look so clear) I would’ve liked if they showed them in your office peeking and staring at you in hidden places or shown like the mangle.
exactly!! I just want more of the animatronics, it had the perfect atmosphere and graphics but nothing to really do with it which ultimately made it disappointing. I wish the developers do change some things around in the new DLC coming out soon
@@insomniacloserxo I really hope so. I have high hopes for the DLC
Video title is incredibly misleading. this is a video basically gassing up every aspect of the game except the gameplay and parts of the story, saving the actual elaboration on the point in the title to the last part of the video. The selling point of the game was the model and yeah the nights were repetitive because the added mechanics were redundant, but thats literally all that is discussed besides "the story doesnt make sense to me." The video is fine, but saying that the gameplay doesnt put the models in a good light does not warrant the MOST DISAPPOINTING claim in the title, let alone a 40 minute video.
I like the video, but this title is very misleading when theres only 1 or 2 major parts of the game that bring it down expectation wise while the selling point is still very much there.
Disappointing does not equal bad it means it didn’t live up to his expectations
Kind of an L take to be honest. Not every fangame can be shiny and perfect, but I applaud the JR’s devs for exploring a new concept, and doing it well. This game is FAR from disappointing, and I look forward to what the devs do next!
bassed
It's good but not great.
Like everything it can’t be perfect, just because the gameplay was apparently boring doesn’t mean the entire game was a disappointment, it was basically like a mix of FNAF 1 and FFPS, maybe a mix of that rockafire band from way back with the face designs of how heavily realistically they were designed, the gameplay itself was fine, and the bots were designed in such a terrifying way it was gross (but in a good way) so they did successful imo

It actually changed my opinion on Jr's! I thought it was perfect, but while watching your video, the points you made clarified everything. Good lord, I couldn't be lying on a bigger misconception
i feel like what could make it better is if they added more cutscenes, especially one where the mangle was being put together. it couldve been a cutscene where u see all of the animatronics (powered down), being moved on the conveyer belt, and then the lights flashing to show different parts of the mangle before finally being shown the mangle on its own, the final scene of the mangle screeching (probably) and then scurrying towards where u are.

Thank you for voicing these criticisms, and see you on the Flipside!
so… when you said we “bonked the ghost on the head”, we actually stabbed her in the back. where the knife came from…? idk.
Clicking this video and being met with "his theme" from undertale sent me back to when i was in middleschool and first hearing the little melody, thanks for that 😊
The designs are amazing. They manage to stay super faithful to the original animatronics with the game’s tone, some with slight theme changes. The FNaF2 designs do the same with the withered damage. It’s a shame that for many the gameplay portion didn’t meet standards for many. While there is unique gameplay, I can only see a smaller portion of the community liking the replayability although eventually the loop would get mundane. I think that the cameras are pretty good at portraying the animatronics in a creepy manner which was one of my favorite parts. Just seeing them stand motionless in that hyper realistic theme.
Something that might’ve fixed lots of these problems (with good game design of course) could’ve been the repair sections. It would add good gameplay while keeping the best executed part of the game: the animatronic designs. Something like the player repairing like in FNaF:HW, getting all close and personal. That or maybe doing some sort of exorcism while the emotionless robot stares at you like in FNaF6.
All i can say is that jr's is the embodiment of the missheard lyrics of burn my dread
"I'll

Ahhh! The little giggle caught me so off guard, had me blushing and covering my face
As an average FNAF player, I respectfully disagree. This game has been a great refresher for me and I can be less scared after a while. This game can also be speedran in a unique way compared to the other games.
All of these Fan games are great, AT ONE THING. Makes me want to lock all the devs in a room and have them focus on what they're good at. Give JR's creator the design elements, and have TJOC come up with the gameplay, popgoes does the story, etc. This is what I think the fan verse should have been. Instead of individual games, have them all come together to work on one game. And make that game cannon. I think that would have been awesome! Freddy Fazbear's mascot horror game Jam.
Is it J-R's or Junior's, make up your mind
AstralSpiff liked Jr's more than Joy of Creation. He also beat it without repairs and beat the max custom night too.
I just like pissing people off with saying J R's, also that's just an opinion, haven't gotten to the Joy of Creation yet but I will soon
If the child were to be changed from a girl to a boy, everything would make sense, we could just say that it's the 83 bite victim being mad at Mike.
But we can't.
So if the kid here is perhaps Charlotte, maybe the player character is the idiot who had the bright idea to lock her outside that night.
Or is this is alternate universe where Elizabeth was the bite victim? Maybe this is supposed to be Cassidy? I have no idea.
personally, i like tip boxes a lot. even if there’s a tutorial i’ll somehow manage to forget what to do, so all though tip boxes can be annoying to see on screen, they’re really helpful for people like me who have memory issues or struggle with following directions correctly (visual learning)

thank you! making an asmr video soon about me talking about fishing
Unrelated but I love your videos because your little laugh is cute
My only gripe with the game is that william wasnt the main villain. But i do like the creativity of the ghost girl
I would love to see an animated short with the JR's animatronics. These models are gorgeous!
Despite it's flaws, I actually like JR's, I like how the jr's animatronics despite looking creepy they don't come to your location to harm you (only if they're haunted) my favorite jr's characters are Bonnie, Paul Bear and Mangle.
I dont hate this game, i actually enjoyed it and loved the gameplay of it. Just wished we got some more from it and wouldn't even mind seeing a sequel to it
flipside dlc is coming out really soon
your voice fits so well for these types of videos gawd damn
good video btw your voice is really relaxing it made me sleepy
why do you giggle after EVERY FUCKING SENTENCE
He giggled like three times
You know, this fangame would've been very good if it weren't for those meddling pears and that annoying white dog thing.
There is no sense of danger throughout the entirety of those 4 nights, Since you're completely safe unless the battery of the animatronic reaches 0
unrelated but i love your voice it's so calming😭
Even though most of the game is like any other FNAF fan game, I will say that the game just stands out from the rest based on the fact that it looks facinating and the story is unique in its own way... it's the hype that's the problem
Or the gameplay loop was boring
jrs did everything right besides gameplay. if every night there was a different task or maybe if there was an actual threat then i believe this would be top 5 fnaf games.
this! ^^
Kinda like sister location
Bro, honestly I'm always looking for a new video from you. I'm addicted to them 😅
thank you! I really appreciate that :)
Wait we have the power to beat a demon girl in the back of the head with a metal pipe!?
Insomniac fresh in the morning? Love it 💜
Me who lives in a time zone where it's the middle of the afternoon: ahhhhhh, it's not as bad as my friend's sleep habits, still hard to comprehend😅
Anyway, I agree
Glad to be part of the morning routine :)
Haha my sleeping habits are bad too happens to all of us
@@insomniacloserxo I don't really get how my friend is able to play through a whole afternoon till morning and sleep enough to repeat it when I join him at the afternoon again. And the weirdest is that he did this during his school time as well (I did my Matura exam so I had roughly one month and two weeks of break before his summer break since he lives in another country).
But as long as you sleep 7-8 hours it doesn't matter when😃 (I know this as experience, if I sleep around 1 am, I wake up at 9 am. Not more not less, sadly but that's my problem. And I can't sleep during the day🤷)
Nah he gotta be a little fruity the way he giggling like that, laying on his bed kicking his feet up recording this video
haha I love and hate this comment, Drake IRL
I think the ears on the puppet actually make it look more scary than if they didn't have them. It makes it look more human and plays off of the fear of aging because your ears never stop growing as you get older.
That intro of "his theme" (i think it is?) hit hard for me, man...good times
yup, I was playing undertale before editing and said sure why not
Now I realize how incredibly stupid the lore is.
FINALLY SOMEONE WHO UNDERSTANDS IT but anyone is literally "no just enjoys the gameplay" B!TCH STFU ATLEAST ACKNOWLEDGE THIS GAME FIRST AND YOU'LL SEE HOW ANNOYING IT IS, I hate people like these man there so annoying
*Now* you realized?
@@thereseemstobeenanerror1219 I never watched videos on the game outside the mangle boss fight
@@Slushea
understandable
i will admit the first 5 nights do get a bit repetitive with nothing really new being added, but i will always consider night 6 fantastic
the puppet and balloon baby dont even appear in the game whatsoever unless you get jumpscared by them. and the rest of them are distorted by green filter and static
Is it weird to say that your voice is really nice? It’s really calming and reminds me of the asmr sleep aids I used to use.
I love the fact that my fav is the final boss, but the game has issues
Jeez, people are really quick to defend this game after seeing the title- I understand that the word 'disappointing' sounds like a negative, but that doesn't fully mean he hates the game or that it is bad. He just thought that the game could've been better in some major areas is all. One of them clearly being gameplay.
Now from what I've been seeing people say in defense about JR's gameplay is 'oh but fnaf's gameplay is also repetitive' Which, yeah, it is on paper. Though, the nights get more difficult as you progress is the key difference here. As in the original games, they add more threats for you to deal with while the others get more aggressive, that aggressiveness spiking each night, meaning you have to be more on your toes to avoid getting game ended by them. In JR's...There's literally no difficulty spike. I mean, sure I guess the ghost enters animatronics quicker but like, that is BARELY a difference in difficulty. It is literally just the same each night till night 6 which is just a cleaner fnaf 2 with some extra steps added near the end of it...Kinda lazy ngl. Even then in the normal nights, they don't attack you unless you make a mistake. Which adds on to how boring the gameplay really is. So, I don't see that as a good defense for the game's gameplay, it's just bad, straight up. But that's my takeaway from it. As for the story, it is..Kinda barebones. You can pretty much sum it up as this: "You are dude. Dude meets ghost bear. Ghost bear is scared of girl, he wants you to stop her and trap her here. You do that during your paranormal investigation and...Kill her at the end? I guess." Like I said, barebones. And said in the video, there really isn't much to tell you if you did the right thing or not by doing this since ghost bear can be a bad guy for all we know, but that's up for the DLC to decide on where the story goes since despite me dumbing it down here, it does have some potential, and if the DLC does it right it can go somewhere great. But as is it's...eh. Really, this game should've focused more on other aspects than just the visuals. The gameplay is boring and not as engaging as other fangames or even the originals. (Think that is more so because it was too focused on the ghost hunting aspect of it all. It is less of a fight off threats to survive and more of just finding out who is sus because the ghost is in them. I think a way to fix this to combine these two mechanics, having to fend off the animatronics while searching for which one the ghost is possessing sounds alot more engaging of a game to play, then having to do the same hear haunting cues and call them in for a quick check up over and over again each night. Least that way the jumpscares will have more of an impact instead of Bonnie just being mad at you for interrupting his tea break.) And the story isn't much to talk about and it will be expanded upon more, but it would've been nice if they worked more on it than what it is at the moment for something being worked on for 5 years. Overall, the game is aight. The visuals CARRY it for sure, as it is lacking in every other aspect. Thank you for another good fnaf review, loving hearing your relaxing voice talk about your thoughts on scary bear games, haha!
a lot of people saw the title and thought I would bash it for 40 minutes straight but I did enjoy the graphics and certain parts of it, it was just that it had so much potential that made it so disappointing. Just because I said it was a disappointing game doesn't mean it was bad just that it had a lot of unused potential...
Bro dropped the hardest JR’s edit and thought we wouldn’t notice
This game was released on my birthday. What an “ok” gift
at least you got to bonk a child's head for free :)
Man, this game really is a certified "aaawwww bummer..." moment. I absolutely adore the claymation segments between nights, and how cute they all look! And of course, the animatronics themselves are amazing! I don't know why but the style reminds me of classic Walt Disney 2D animation style for animals. Does that make sense?
But it's such a shame to hear the game itself is boring/not fun to play. Along with the fact some things can be a little frustrating to deal with. I'm not even mad, just bummed! :(
Have you played the game for yourself?
I have, and yeah it gets boring mid way through, the final night is exciting but apart from that it was just click through camera sim, then go to a panel and press a button. I think repairs could’ve fixed it, but nah they just made it click then drag.
I really couldn't get myself to like this game. It was just ultra repetative without feeling like it got that much more challenging and the designs of the animatronics felt like they where trying too hard to be scary and ReAliStIc when they literally do not, in any form, look like what would be in an actual chuck E cheese style restaurant, so I was just overall pulled out even more because of that.
u the only youtuber that would start giggling in my ear and make me slowly glare back at my monitor
hollow knight greenpath ost is something i didnt expect here lol, great vid tho
I still think jrs is the one of the best. the best one i like is tyke and son lumber co and tjoc but still i think its cool but i respect your opinion
everyone how their own opinions :)
I couldn't watch the video because of the spooky bears so I just left a like and let it play in the background /j
I will make sure to censor them next time for u
The first background song sounds like when that one laundry machine is finished doing laundry.
I personally love what the did with JR’s, those animatronics are phenomenal
