I do agree with the whole adjusting Golden Freddy's AI thing being just for gameplay, but FNaF 3 doesn't have a custom night. That screenshot you used was either a mockup if it did have one, or a fangame. No offense, but that's giving off vibes of "I didn't actually play the game" since I don't see any other way that mistake could be made. If you needed to use the phantom's ai being adjusted, you should've used UCN since they're featured there.
That was based on my memory of FNAF 3 and when I searched it, there were multiple screenshots of that custom night. I just googled it even more and it didn’t actually have it like you said. Thank you for letting me know!
UCN doesn't count, cause it's purgatory or nightmare or whatever as far as I know. So there you can do anything, even change A.I. of animatronics that were not real. Sorry for my English.
The UCN custom night-screen is implied to be noncanon, while the one in 1 and 2 is implied to be canon.(Since the characters are being fired for messing with the animatronics and in Fnaf 1 specifically, the default-values before the player changes anything don't match any of the standard nights)
Is it weird that I always found his one the scariest? Idk if it's because you can actually see him move or what, but I think it's even like, the way you can actually watch him arrive in the office itself cause like with the other ones they just go "boo" but you actually see how foxy attacks you and its Spooky!
How's this for a theory based on mechanics of the game because there's some things he got wrong such as Bonnie and chica only able to moan near the office this isn't the case as they can only do so in the office and the iconic Freddy music only plays while the power is out also false because he can go into the kitchen and play his music and also all animatronics can make that jump scare sound golden Freddy uses because it's just a pitched down version of the original so here's what happened The left door was closed with foxy pounding on it Bonnie hiding in the corner next to foxy was just waiting to get a chance to go in The right door was open Phone guy went into the cams to check on chica and Freddy but he didn't realize chica was at the door We all know what happens next Chica gets in and makes her presence known with a moan Phone guy dies
@@NathanBB2005 like I said all animatronics can realistically make the jump scare sound because it's just a toned down version of the original audio and because of that all it takes is an audio error or a little paranormal altering one more realistic than the other is all it takes but I digress
@@NathanBB2005 also it turned out something I mentioned that turned out to be wrong the moaning sounds can be made in the hallways but only in the blind spot or the corner so my bad
I know it's far from the case now, but I do actually think the theory of the Phone Guy being the killer actually was pretty solid in the confinement of the original 3 games, there's logical lines of thought through it, the guy's obviously been with the company a looooot longer than he ever should have been, and it would have explained why all of the animatronics are going after him so hard at the same time on night 4. Like I said I know it's not the case now, but it certainly had it's merits back in the day.
My take on "who killed phone guy" is that all the animatronics ganged up on him to give him the worst night of his life like that one Magnus Archives ep where like 5 entities just fuck up a priest for no reason. Oh but also i think the combo of noises couldve just been done by Scott so the question of "who done it" would be up for interpretation or somethin or other.
not even 2 minutes into the video i'm already overwhelmed by nostalgia just hearing Puppet in the background. I'm sure that's a good sign for the 40 minutes :)
14:55 I remember people not only saying that you get a secret ending but that In this custom night you would be able to see the Kitchen camera (which is impossible)
The concept of an animatronic coming in and summoning another one part by part to kill you was actually done in the original Popgoes. Not parts from inside the office but you still have to stop it
It's funny that people kept trying to say that Foxy is actually a good guy. I like Foxy too, he's probably my favorite, but he's clearly not a good guy, just like all the rest of them.
I believe all the animatronics worked together to kill the phone guy, but Golden Freddy was the one who killed him because of the jumpscare. at least that's what I can understand with the call.
This is the only one I'm watching because, aside from the mystery of the phantom animatronics and Golden Freddy, the third game wrapped things up nicely and seemed like a good conclusion. The place caught on fire, the serial killer was dead, the spirits of the kids were set free, and it tied up the loose ends from the first two games (aside from again, the phantom animatronics and such) and I even remember Scott saying it was the final game. FNAF World I considered a spin-off and not a serious title, but then FNAF 4 came out... and he said that would be the final game but then the mysterious update with the box was unlocked and teased another game and I just lost interest in the series after that. I can give credit to Sister Location for changing up the stale gameplay and explaining the reason Afton was purple but I just didn't care anymore. I was a little optimistic about Security Breach because it allowed you to actually move around freely, but since it was an unfinished mess and the ending of it, I just couldn't be bothered anymore.
You don't play as William in Sister Location. You should watch some videos on the other games too. The ending that was in Pizzeria Simulator is incredible.
Theory for Phone Guy: The left door is closed, so it can't be Bonnie or Foxy. Let's assume that he was looking at cams and goes to the kitchen to find Chica. From experience, I can say you can hear the Toreador March in the Kitchen feed, so Freddy might be in the kitchen. If the right door is open, that is why the groaning from Bonnie/Chica is heard. If the Golden Freddy posyer is changed he could get started, drop the cameras and get killed by Chica. Oh god my brain hurts now
SO here's my theory on Golden Freddo: its a suit without an endoskeleton being driven by 2 spirits Cassidy and Evan, Cassidy moves the suit and Even uses the eyes to look. Cassidy is a very angry spirit so they could have more power plus the suit without its endo Skellington is much lighter and therefore you could move it with much more ease. As to why they can get into the room with the doors close i think there may be a room behind you, for extra storage and entrance to the office via outside. This must be where the old 1983 era suits lay.
Thats actually a pretty well thought out theory, but it depends on if there really is a secret closet or room connected to the office. It’s been years since the first game but I’m not sure if I ever heard of something like that
i personally always believed that Chica was the culprit of Phone Guys death. We never hear doors open, however we also don’t hear any close. We KNOW that the left door is closed, otherwise Foxy wouldn’t be able to bang on it. Bonnie only spawns on the left side (which is closed) and Freddy when he does the music box is also always on the left. Chica is the only one in that situation on the right. this doesn’t explain why she doesn’t jumpscare him though. I think it’s because she wasn’t there for the part we hear. The noises come from Bonnie and Chica and i believe that it was only Bonnie making noises meaning phone guy wouldn’t have his door there because Chica wasn’t there. after that I think golden Freddy appears and jump scares him. Golden Freddy wouldn’t kill him though, because he’s a hallucination/ghost. after Golden freddy scares phone guy I think Chica would sneak up on him while/after that happened and jump scare him; killing him. All in all; Phone guy blocks the left door for Foxy, Freddy, and Bonnie. Chica isn’t on the right and he needs to conserve power so he leaves it open. Golden Freddy shows up and does the whole “it’s me”thing which scares phone guy. While that happens Chica shows up and then jump scares Phone Guy; killing him. I also saw the possibility of Golden Freddy killing him but we never saw that happen while we did see Chica kill. i’m 100% certain it wasn’t Foxy or Bonnie, though i suppose it could be freddy if you come up with a scenario, ignoring Chica and Golden Freddy. Sorry for my rambling and my poor grammar I just really wanted to share my theory/head canon
7:45 Either it was golden Freddy or chica. Golden Freddy for your first reason at 10:20 For chica here’s my explanation- We don’t hear the left door closed meaning it was already closed so for this to happen, either bonnie was already there or he closed the door whilst foxy was running, but the door was already closed. We hear moaning and only 1 moan, so either that was chica moaning before killing him or bonnie moaning next to the door. Now what about Freddy? Well we don’t hear the power go out and the only way he could make the torridor march is if he was in the kitchen which would mean that Freddy could not have killed him. All of this means that the left door was closed meaning that foxy and bonnie could not kill him and Freddy was in the kitchen meaning he couldn’t have killed him. Something that I should also mention is that golden Freddys scream is just a slowed down version of the regular scream. So all of this means chica killed phone guy. So those are my 2 culprits, golden Freddy and chica
I think it's possible that the recording stopped because phone guy's power ran out, that's why there was no sound for the power running out. The phone needs power of course.
Does anyone think it's funny and kinda crazy that “sparky the dog” actually ended up being a canon thing in the books? (at least I think so, feel free to correct me if not) Edit: I was thinking of fetch lmao, forgot his name- guess I was kinda wrong then 😔
11:00 freddy plays his music box when he is in the kitchen which can be heard from the office, if the left door is blocking foxy then bonnie cannot enter the office, the groans on happen when bonnie or chica are in the office and you have your cam up resdy to kill you when you put it down so based on all of that it was most likely chica that killed phone guy
But it was Golden Freddy's jumpscare we hear..you can also hear moaning if you're on the cams looking at the corner cams next to the offic with Bonnie or Chica on the cam.
3:20 Ahhhh yes, the Freddy handprints theory, I remember that and the Foxy caused the bite of '87 one, while we know about the bite of '83 when the crying child got bitten by Fredbear, I feel like the infamous bite of '87 was probably done by mabey Mangle 4:10 Ohhhh the Foxy is a good guy theory, because for his Jumpscare he just peaks in Instead of getting in your Face like the other Animatronics, the Theory sayimg that Foxy was just checking on you, I remember thar Theory~ 8:37 The Infamous phone guy death call, which had knocks, Freddys Toreador march gingle, the groans Bonnie and Chica do, and then Golden Freddy's Jumpscare sound... Also in night 6, the phone call is a distorted version of a Poem I believe, it'seven Demonic and Backwards and said to talk about Plants and Fertiliser 24:37 When Phone guy said stuff like _"We had a spare suit in the back... A yellow one... Someone used it..."_ and _"The position just became... Available"_ He sounds worried in both... The _"Spare yellow suit"_ is Obviously the Spring Bonnie suit, the one Purple Guy {William Afton} used to lure kids into the backroom to kill them... 41:20 Now in the present day, I feel like the Masks in the happiest day mini-game, are Masks of the Mediocre Melodies
Yes phone guy explains exactly who is in danger "the animatronics are acting strange, the interact with the kids just fine, but when they see an adult, they just stare"
The night 6 call then states “Someone used it, now none of them are acting right” implying their interactions with both adults and children are broken.
Frankly, I say it’s golden Freddy. Cuz his jump scare was heard and 9 times out of 10, jumpscares in fnaf usually end someone. Now if u excuse me, I’m gonna get my chocolate, sardine, pineapple pizza that I got from Freddy’s.😋🍕
i think chica is the only one who COULD have killed phone guy let me explain so when golden freddy jumpscares you he crashes your game which to me and 90% of the rest of the fanbase shows he CANT kill you as otherwise the game over screen would've appeared so he's not a possibilty next is and bonnie we can rule them out because of the fact that the left door was closed for foxy to be banging on it, and since the power is still there that means freddy HAD to have been in the kitchen as that's the only other place where his music box is active so with golden freddy unable to kill you and foxy and bonnie being locked out the only one who could've killed is chica who only does that groan once your character is essentially already dead
But the problem with Chica being the killer is that she would of attacked immediately when the cams were down..which clearly didn't happen as he was off cams long enough for Golden Freddy to jumpscare him. I don't think we should take Golden Freddy crashing the game as evidence for anything..either Golden Freddy killed him or Chica entered the office after the jumpscare to kill the phone guy (which is less likely to me) or a more likely option for "Goldren Freddy can't actually kill anyone" is the dude had a heart attack from Golden Freddy dying..and was likely put into a suit later hence why he asked us to check the suits in the backroom saying he'd "hold out as long as he could" (he assumed he'd put in a suit alive and could potentially be saved).
@@testerwulf3357 this may be true but at the same time all evidence supports that golden freddy cant kill anyone in fact with him being off cams presumably keep in mind golden freddy wasnt MEANT to be important in the first game that was added in retroactively in the second one so if we take that into consideration chica is the only one who COULD have killed phone guy as at the time golden freddy was just an EASTER EGG and he prob just used his jumpscare in the phone call for variety at the time
"It's weird calling Purple Guy "Purple Guy" and not William Afton" Meanwhile, Tumblr named him Vincent and kept with the name even a bit after William Afton was properly named.
Also "Vincent" was always portrayed in this same specific artstyle that doesn't match the games and has a ponytail for some reason. Maybe they were all from one artist but I have no idea nor do I really care.
well some people still call william "Dave" from the dayshift at freddy's series and some people call the fnaf 4 crying child "chris" because of some fanfiction or something
@@troin3925 That one artist is Voltergeist, formerly Rebornica. Here's a 3 hour video chronicling every controversy and debunking lies/rumors- Rebornica: The Cancelled FNAF Artist
I remember being so used to calling him Vincent, that I straight up refused to accept William Afton as canon and kept using the "But the books aren't canon!" argument 😭 Now I'm so used to William Afton, that I cringe whenever I remember the "Vincent Era"
It’s actually very much hinted and basically confirmed golden Freddy and fredbear are the same thing thanks to ucn. If you have just golden Freddy selected (I think he has to be a certain ai value) and use a death coin on him you will be jump scared by fredbear (and he says stuff in reverse in his death line)
@@YourGoodPalSatanIsHere part of this got debunked so I'm not gonna include it. In fnaf 1 we are introduced to everyone (duh) but two very specific details, golden Freddy and the bite of 87, when putting in 1987 into the custom night screen we get jumpscares by golden Freddy, pretty much cementing a link between the two dates, also worth noting phone guy mentions about the frontal lobe and how long someone can survive without it) Fnaf 2 is set in 1987 (everyone thought we would get answers about the bite in that game) and introduces us to the toy animatronics with all this fancy upgrades and such, they were being debuted at that location, so the toys can't be older than 1987 Fnaf 4 we are introduced to the crying child or the bite victim, now Scott has said that it's 1983 but he's also said he retconed stuff, and honestly fnaf 4 at this point feels like a big retcon but I digress, the only year info we get in this game is on the TV, well at least direct year info, 1983, (which is where the debate comes from) but irl TV often shows cartoons especially children's ones years after original publication, also worth noting the TV show doesn't have any toy animatronics or anything like that (they are more like the plush versions) scoot along in the game and we meet a little girl who has toy versions of the toy animatronics, which were release in 1987, considering that (at least what we see) there is no other time the toy animatronics pop up before 1987 it HAS to be in 1987, unless they taken toys and turn them into animatronics. Also why mention the bite of 87 way back in fnaf 1 and not deliver on, checkovs gun anyone?
I think there is a major detail about Golden Freddy being ignored... the anomatronics kill you by stuffing you into a suit, and Golden Freddy... is an empty suit.
Never understood why people say that he clearly has a visible endoskeleton underneath, else rhe suit pieces would just fall to the floot, it just doesn't have eyes
That's not actually what they do. That's what phone guy's lie about their intentions says they do. That assumption is about as reliable as the assumption that he's being truthful about them not being dangerous
The issue with ignoring the books is now a lot of the lore we now have confirmation is hidden in them so glancing over them is a big issue when coming up with theories for the story
but when talking about theories and hoaxes at the time of the games release, with the first 4 games in the seires being released before silver eyes (the first book series) and us getting the dreadbear DLC when the second wave of books came out, so for the first four games especially in the initial run we had no books to cross reference, at least at time of release
We know nothing about the lore because Scott is a terrible writer and straight-up refuses to be clear about anything because he figured out that theories are free marketing.
In my opinion (apart from scrap trap design) pizzeria simulator would have been the best place to end William's never ending coming back. That's why I have hopes for the mimic. What do you think about it?
I know some things about the mimic (based on the books at least) and there’s a lot of new possible lore opening up because of it, so I’m extremely excited to see what exactly they’re going to try and do with it now! Though I’m trying to purposely avoid any mentions of it online since I want to be completely surprised when everything is revealed
Boy, was the pink guy theory popular... It was literally like a plague, I myself had to prove some of my (back then) invested in fnaf lore friends, which seemed to very much rely on the youtube "experts'" theories, that there's NO pink guy and that it was just the Purple guy, but in a different shade of purple
So with the shadow animatronics from FNAF 2, there was supposed to be a mechanic that would lose the camera and metal on metal banging for a few seconds if you ever saw a shadow animatronic on the camera for a bit, but it wouldn't work due to script error. Just a little fun fact!
Yeah I actually watched a video about that. The endo and other secret animatronics were meant to that aswell! Guess Scott just made it crash your game as a way to fix it before he had to release it.
I think about the Phone Guy's death it's important to note that he specifically says to check the back room, and says he "wondered what was in those empty heads", which implies he's sitting in Parts and Services looking up at them staring down at him. My theory is that he struggled and lost power but instead of just sitting there he booked it to Parts and Services and slammed the door shut hoping that no one would be able to get in. This lead to all the animatronics piling up at the door, and the Phone Guy hid inside the Golden Freddy suit hoping that even if they did get inside they wouldn't attack him. The Golden Freddy suit being inside the Parts and Services makes a lot of sense as in FNAF 2 it's said that there's a spare yellow suit in the back which could be Golden Freddy. Of course, it's still haunted, and when Phone Guy tried to hide in it the springlocks went off and that's what got him. That's the Golden Freddy scream we hear.
I don't think the fact that Golden Freddy and Fredbear are separate characters in FNAF World mean anything, there is literally Springbonnie and Springtrap, FNAF1 and Withered animatronics, Mangle and Funtime Foxy (which is in FNAF World is assembled Mangle and not actual Funtime Foxy from SL) in the game as separate characters, yet they are all the same animatronics in different points of time
Oh MAN I’m about the same age as you (was 13 when the first game came out) and I legitimately believed that Freddy’s was a real place. I didn’t think it was haunted like the games though, I just thought it was a competitor to Chuck E Cheese’s since we never had any animatronic restaurants in my country (closest was an animatronic band for a limited time up in Queensland) and that the game was a fun spoof of it
When I was little, one friend of mine really loved FNAF, more so than even I did at the time. I remember once at recess he came over to me and handed me an invitation to his birthday. The invite was styled to look like it was a custom birthday invite from the Freddy Fazbear brand and he said that his birthday party was at the real life Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza. I wasn’t able to go to his party because of scheduling issues, and I get the distinct feeling now that he was extremely relieved by that fact since his party was no doubt at his house or like Chuck E Cheese. Thanks for reminding me of that memory
I thought Golden Freddy was supposed to be the first refurbished animatronic but Henry never was able to bring himself to finish repairs or out of respect to Evan (crying child, if you hate the fan name).
Getting my foot in the door before we talk about FNAF 4 for reaslies - there's this one FNAF book called Survival Logbook (written by Scott himself), it's implied that Michael Afton is the (fictional) writer of the journal. In the journal, there is art of Nightmare Fredbear subtitled with 'a recent dream'. This paints FNAF 4 in a new way, and a way I much prefere - it isn't the Crying Child's coma dream or eternal torment. It's Michael Afton's dreams, dreams he has from the perspective of his own little brother, knowing how he tormented him and scared him. He would've seen his lil brother in hospital, explaining why we can sometimes see the flowers/medication/an IV drip. The fact that's it's Michael explains why we can sometimes hear a garbled version of the FNAF 1 phonecall. Honestly, I much prefer this. I can't currently remember what makes me 100% believe that William abused Michael, other than yknow, William being a piece of shit in general, but I'm certain that he did. I think Michael sadly did something that you can sometimes observe in abusive households, where he took out the anger and pain on a younger sibling (Crying Child), becoming his younger brother's bully until it went too far and he accidentally killed him. I think about this sometimes, yknow. He was being an absolute dickhead, but he never intended to *kill* his little brother. He never intended to go this far. Can you imagine the absolute guilt that must've eaten at him after that incident? Having Killed him? Knowing that he had made the last few years (or potentially the entirety) of his younger brother's life a living hell? That his brother died terrified of his own sibling? That no matter what, he can never go back, he can never make it so his younger brother felt any happiness or new that he was loved before he passed? That he could never apologise? That's why these nightmares come. Every night, tormented by the Fazbear animatronics that he used to torment his younger brother, reminded of what it felt like to be so small and vulnerable in a world with people (or things) that want to hurt you. Also regarding you saying you thought FNAF 3 was the best cutoff point... I can see that. But in my eyes, Pizza Simulator/UCN is the canon end. Everyone gets laid to rest. Charlotte and all the other kids are able to pass, both Henry and Michael sit in the burning building and let themselves die alongside everyone. No more nightmares, no more franchises built on blood, no more pain. They can all finally rest. And for William, the gates of hell. That's why I consider UCN to be the joint finale. It is William in hell, experiencing everything he created or was spawned by his actions. Every moment, on a loop, for eternity. In a funny way this ties back to Scott's own Christianity, huh? The idea of hell and eternal torment. I can't say I disagree with this punishment in this case.
To add to that, FNAFSL shows that these rooms are real, so there's a very solid chance that after the bite of 83, William actively tormented Michael as a punishment, only making Michael feel even more guilt.
well now we know that these rooms were experiments for other kids, and michael experienced similar nightmares after going to the sister location house@@breckhhharviquado
Phone Guy's death was literally a jumping like my guy went out sad as hell man. Foxy banging on his door, Freddy's music playing, Bonnie and/or Chica both waiting as well as Golden Freddy making an appearance. They really quintuple combo'd his ass into a suit lmaoo.
The other hoax similar to " Sparky the Dog" are "Tigor" the Tiger and "Elefanch" the Elephant. Once there was a very popular creepypasta, posted not too long after FNAF 1 released. In this creepypasta author added two characters that didn't appear in the game Tigor and Elefanch. A lot of children would think that these were real animatronics, they would even ask popular FNAF youtubers to do videos, theories or gameplay of these characters, even though they were clearly nonexistent.
I remember the tiger one, but don’t think I ever encountered the elephant while in my FNAF phase. I do vividly remember Sparky the Dog though and how much I wanted him to be real
I remember not liking the phone guy being the killer theory so much because I had a theory that Mike Schmidt was the killer. My evidence was pretty much "why would the animatronics be saying 'it's me' to you"
The "Mike is the killer" theory is, probably, the most solid of the theories if you rely only on the first game (since, y'know, the first game was originally supposed to be the last and only FNaF game).
I believe personally that golden Freddy’s scream heard through the phonecall was the spirit of golden freddy cutting the phonecall before phone guy’s death, because you would’ve probably heard him scream if that was the immediate moment of his death no? I remember back in the day all the theorists were forming their opinions of who killed phone guy on the basis of it being only 1 culprit, that frustrated me because based on all the cues it seemed obvious to me that it was all of them, glad you touched on that dude. Well made vid! Edit: and I believe you’re describing popgoes at 39:00 btw
When my brothers and I were little, shortly after FNAF2 came out, we all desperately wanted to believe that Foxy was the good guy. I ended up stringing this, ‘theory,’ together about Withered Foxy, which looking back is really more of a headcanon that I could see somebody writing fanfiction about. The whole thing follows the mechanics of Balloon Boy. When he laughs a particular way in the game, Withered Foxy almost instantly jumpscares you. Well, to my brothers and I, this must have meant that Foxy was trying to protect Balloon Boy from the player. And thus, the, “Foxy is BB’s legal guardian,” theory was born. We also speculated that he was also JJ’s legal guardian, but there wasn’t enough info on her at the time for us to be sure.
I believed the opposite for some reason and thought BB's spirit was *specifically* Foxy's mom. I think it came from one of the Living Tombstone songs or something but I never actually listened to those myself, so if that's the case then I was a victim of the grapevine.
Funny it was kinda weird at first for me calling purple guy as William Afton when he was first revealed since I was so used to calling him ‘purple guy’. Also let’s be glad we don’t live in the universe where his official name became Vincent via the fan name being adopted as official like many of the other names of the characters.
There is only one problem with your theory on what happens to phone guy. We don’t hear the doors close. You say that he closes the doors for foxy and for chica on the other side but we don’t hear the doors close. My guess was he was hiding in the back room of the pizzeria and the gang found him. Foxy broke down the door because he is the only one to actually attack doors, Bonny and chica made their way in and their weird growing noise came out while the music box was picked up by the phone and golden Freddy showed up to kill him. Alternatively it could just be Freddy that kills him and scoot just used multiple sounds so it could sound different from how you die. Remember golden Freddy is a rare chance to show up and you would naturally flip up the camera like markaplier did so my guess is scoot wanted phone guys situation to sound completely different from yours and thus more terrifying.
Has everyone forgotten the fact that the handprints on freddy kinda match up with the poster of him ripping his head open? It may be a hallucination yes, but that could've happened either way.
I believe the most plausible theory behind Shadow Freddy and RXQ is the one where they're the two workers that died in the springlocked suites mentioned in FNAF 3 that retired the springlock suits. Some people would argue that it wouldn't have been Scott's original idea, but like... Clearly he had an idea about Springtrap considering he literally has the line in FNAF 2: "Someone used one of the suits. We had a spare in the back. A yellow one." Notice how Phone Guy says "used one of the suits" not one of the animatronics. And it was a "spare in the back." But there are no yellow suits in any back room that we can see on the cameras, which makes sense if Phone Guy was a bit on edge and babbling because five children have just been killed in this restaurant (Or just gone missing, depending on if you believe MCI and DCI both happened or not), so he's talking about the safe room. Which is in the back of the restaurant. The theory goes onto say that the workers haunt the pizzeria having died there, taking on the form of the suit they were wearing when they died. But they're just phantoms because the workers' bodies obviously would've been removed from the suits as the suits were retired.
ngl i feel like initially the golden freddy scream was just used so it was more of a variety than the same scream the player hears a lot, but maybe will be explained into the lore at some point
Anyone remember the first Game Theory episode on FNaF, the one that took the animatronics and tiny amount of lore we got and related it to a real life shooting? Yeah, 2014 FNaF was a weird time...
Ive been in the fnaf fandom around for a while, joining in around FNaF 3 and the fandom was a different breed back then. Hoaxes just like Sparky (my favourite hoax honestly) are rare to come by nowadays.
Last one reverse hoax everyone thought fnaf 2 JJ under the table looking at you was a hoax because of how unbelievably rare it was, it was months before it was found in the game files
My theory is that the Shadow animatronics are the victims from the multiple and simultaneous spring lock failures described by Phone Guy in FNAF 3. Also I’m guessing that the new masks we see in the Happiest Day minigame are just the Mediocre Melodie animatronics from FNAF 6
Fnaf 3 was a good place for the series to end but i still believe fnaf 6 was the best. Pizza sim had the perfect and most satisfying end to the story in my opinion
don't forget the other part of the foxy being a good guy theory. people thought that he was damaged because he was outcasted from the other animatronics and they didn't like him. this reinforced the fact that he may be trying to work against them, and also gave an explanation onto why he was like that because now after the bite of 87 thing was debunked now that I think about it I don't think there ever was a reason for how fucked up he was.
You mentioned that the only FNaF fan game you could find that took place in a theme park was Tealerland, but have you heard about The Twisted Carnival? I've been keeping my eye on it for years, but the GameJolt page is still getting updates, so it seems that it may still be in development. There are even a few demos on the page as well.
@@insomniacloserxo you have to do what you have to do, even if it means killing multiple children then stuffing there bodies in suits (i'm also a kid btw)
31:17 hang on a minute has anyone else noticed this? Look at the numbers at the top left They act as normal goin up a hundred points for each life given but as soon as golden Freddy jump scares you the numbers change to 5913 I mean it’s 2023 9 years after the game released but could this mean something?
The FNAF fangame POPGOES features an the titular character Popgoes the Weasel building an "animatronic" vessel for a ghost the possess to kill the player.
My guess for Phone Guy is: Phone Guy notices Foxy and he slammed the door Chica appears on the right door Freddy was in the kitchen because apparently he plays the toreador March in the kitchen And golden Freddy appears Two outcomes after this A: Golden Freddy kills Phone Guy, and the static is him being killed Or B: Phone Guy pulls out an axe, and whacks Golden Freddy with it, with the static being Golden Freddy getting knocked out, and phone Guy escaping. With his whole tone through the call being faked. A is more likely tbh
This video really was so nostalgic. I remember talking about all this stuff in middle school with my friends. When the 1st game came out I was 13, and I was really into the "Foxy is a good guy" theory lol. Although I don't think I really thought that was what Scott was going for even at the time, I just thought it was a fun idea; I think some of my friends really did believe it for a while, though.
I actually think it was confirmed in a book or something that toy bonnie is the culprit of the bite of 87, but I could be wrong. Either way I really feel nostalgic thinking about all that speculation back in the day
That was actually a cancelled Popgoes comic book. In that universe, Toy Bonnie is responsible for the bite, and is therefore why he appears as a shadow. If you are not familiar with Popgoes, I would recommend checking it out!
Here’s my take on Phone Guy’s death: Foxy was banging on the left door, so it couldn’t have been Foxy as he is locked outside. And since the left door is shut, it couldn’t have been Bonnie either, as he couldn’t have made it into the office with Foxy banging on the door. This also means that the animatronic moaning we hear cannot be Bonnie’s, as he only plays that sound when he’s in the office, which isn’t possible with the left door being shut. The only time Freddy plays his music outside a power outage is in the kitchen, which is too far from the office for him to kill Phone Guy. The only person outside of Golden Freddy that could have killed Phone Guy is Chica. Bonnie and Foxy are locked outside, Freddy is in the kitchen, and Chica is already in the room, indicated by the animatronic moaning. She would have killed him right as he pulled the cameras down, unless Golden Freddy somehow got to him first, which doesn’t make sense as he cannot kill until several seconds after the camera is pulled down. Still, it’s Golden Freddy’s jumpscare sound we hear at the end, which is the only thing preventing me from 100% believing it was Chica. Still, I think Chica being the culprit is the strongest theory we have in my opinion, if we simply go off the game’s mechanics.
@@insomniacloserxo ya that had me too. I was super confused because 3 was the only one I did 100% because it didn’t have an all20 mode.
@@lpfan4491 Oh, so that too
I still find it hilarious that Foxy's jumpscare in the first game was so bad that people thought he was the good guy.
Is it weird that I always found his one the scariest? Idk if it's because you can actually see him move or what, but I think it's even like, the way you can actually watch him arrive in the office itself cause like with the other ones they just go "boo" but you actually see how foxy attacks you and its Spooky!
@@lunarrover4923 well said
His bad jumpscare can be forgiven because the first time you see him running down the hallway is terrifying.
I remember the Foxy is good theory omg
I genuinely believed it and told literally everyone I knew with such passion 😭
i’m not super sure phone guy’s killer matters too much, because he really was likely surrounded and it could’ve equally been anyone
How's this for a theory based on mechanics of the game because there's some things he got wrong such as Bonnie and chica only able to moan near the office this isn't the case as they can only do so in the office and the iconic Freddy music only plays while the power is out also false because he can go into the kitchen and play his music and also all animatronics can make that jump scare sound golden Freddy uses because it's just a pitched down version of the original so here's what happened
The left door was closed with foxy pounding on it
Bonnie hiding in the corner next to foxy was just waiting to get a chance to go in
The right door was open
Phone guy went into the cams to check on chica and Freddy but he didn't realize chica was at the door
We all know what happens next
Chica gets in and makes her presence known with a moan
Phone guy dies
@@donnietidwell965I happen to agree 95% I just think that Golden Freddy got to him first since Chica's scream would be faster than what we hear
Chica would have killed him if Golden Freddy didn't though so he was screwed

Hope you enjoyed the whole video!
I am pretty shore there is no custom night in FNaF 3
There isn’t, I remembered it wrong :(
I believe all the animatronics worked together to kill the phone guy, but Golden Freddy was the one who killed him because of the jumpscare. at least that's what I can understand with the call.
Theory for Phone Guy:
The left door is closed, so it can't be Bonnie or Foxy. Oh god my brain hurts now
23:54 Yeah. That explanation I gave can help understand the aggressiveness from the animatronics toward the staff.
It’s been years since the first game but I’m not sure if I ever heard of something like that
The masks from the children in the happiest day are the faces of the mediocre melodies.
i personally always believed that Chica was the culprit of Phone Guys death.
7:45
Either it was golden Freddy or chica.
Golden Freddy for your first reason at 10:20
For chica here’s my explanation-
We don’t hear the left door closed meaning it was already closed so for this to happen, either bonnie was already there or he closed the door whilst foxy was running, but the door was already closed.
8:40 "he's probably fiiiiinnneee" ... kinda reminds me of josh from LGIO whenever someone falls to their demise. :D
I think it's possible that the recording stopped because phone guy's power ran out, that's why there was no sound for the power running out. The phone needs power of course.
Yellowbear erases people from existence, not kill them. Your game crashing means it must be more extreme than death
Springtrap was also called golden foxy, golden bonnie, hybird and the most funny name mr. Twitchy
Actually golden Freddy and fredbear are the same golden Freddy just doesn’t have a endoskeleton
I wish Scott made the sparky canon.

The Infamous phone guy death call, which had knocks, Freddys Toreador march gingle, the groans Bonnie and Chica do, and then Golden Freddy's Jumpscare sound... 24:37
When Phone guy said stuff like _"We had a spare suit in the back... A yellow one... Someone used it..."_ and _"The position just became... Available"_ He sounds worried in both... Nah it was just in your imagination be fr
The music playing before Megalovania was also from Undertale, it was Toriel's fight theme "Heartache"
i think chica is the only one who COULD have killed phone guy let me explain so when golden freddy jumpscares you he crashes your game which to me and 90% of the rest of the fanbase shows he CANT kill you as otherwise the game over screen would've appeared so he's not a possibilty next is and bonnie we can rule them out because of the fact that the left door was closed for foxy to be banging on it, and since the power is still there that means freddy HAD to have been in the kitchen as that's the only other place where his music box is active so with golden freddy unable to kill you and foxy and bonnie being locked out the only one who could've killed is chica who only does that groan once your character is essentially already dead

In fnaf 1 we are introduced to everyone (duh) but two very specific details, golden Freddy and the bite of 87, when putting in 1987 into the custom night screen we get jumpscares by golden Freddy, pretty much cementing a link between the two dates, also worth noting phone guy mentions about the frontal lobe and how long someone can survive without it)
Fnaf 2 is set in 1987 (everyone thought we would get answers about the bite in that game) and introduces us to the toy animatronics with all this fancy upgrades and such, they were being debuted at that location, so the toys can't be older than 1987
Fnaf 4 we are introduced to the crying child or the bite victim, now Scott has said that it's 1983 but he's also said he retconed stuff, and honestly fnaf 4 at this point feels like a big retcon but I digress, the only year info we get in this game is on the TV, well at least direct year info, 1983, (which is where the debate comes from) but irl TV often shows cartoons especially children's ones years after original publication, also worth noting the TV show doesn't have any toy animatronics or anything like that (they are more like the plush versions) scoot along in the game and we meet a little girl who has toy versions of the toy animatronics, which were release in 1987, considering that (at least what we see) there is no other time the toy animatronics pop up before 1987 it HAS to be in 1987, unless they taken toys and turn them into animatronics.
Also why mention the bite of 87 way back in fnaf 1 and not deliver on, checkovs gun anyone?
I think there is a major detail about Golden Freddy being ignored... the anomatronics kill you by stuffing you into a suit, and Golden Freddy... is an empty suit.
That’s if it isn’t a hallucination 👀
It’s not an empty suit, it has Cassidy in it
@@Crazykyle2727 Cassidy's spirits in it, not her psychical body. That's long gone

DSAF definitely went for that one

Boy, was the pink guy theory popular...
I can’t believe people thought foxy is a good guy just because he has a bad jumpscare 💀💀
It's wrong but I still love it
I don't think the fact that Golden Freddy and Fredbear are separate characters in FNAF World mean anything, there is literally Springbonnie and Springtrap, FNAF1 and Withered animatronics, Mangle and Funtime Foxy (which is in FNAF World is assembled Mangle and not actual Funtime Foxy from SL) in the game as separate characters, yet they are all the same animatronics in different points of time
My answer to Who Killed Phone Guy:
In my opinion, I think it was a group effort. Which is why you hear all the animatronics's well known sounds.
Oh MAN I’m about the same age as you (was 13 when the first game came out) and I legitimately believed that Freddy’s was a real place.
I didn’t think it was haunted like the games though, I just thought it was a competitor to Chuck E Cheese’s since we never had any animatronic restaurants in my country (closest was an animatronic band for a limited time up in Queensland) and that the game was a fun spoof of it
That is pretty funny, but imagine if that were real Scott would have been sued into oblivion
@@breckhhharviquadoThat might be the case, considering the Nightmare's voice lines in UCN.
Yeah it always bothered me too that everyone always fixated on only one culprit when this game first came out, and yeah it was that was my mistake
@@insomniacloserxo we all make them man I figured you just hadn’t heard much about it, don’t worry about it though The vid was great over all
@@L0rdOfThePies thanks for letting me know!
But they're just phantoms because the workers' bodies obviously would've been removed from the suits as the suits were retired.
why does RXLGBTQ+ look like Toy Bonnie then? Early Spring Bonnie concept?
@@plaguenplay3516 Possible, but I think it's more likely that Scott just reused the model because it wasn't his focus of the game, and thus, cheaper.
@@shaelynmartin1996 maybe bc withered Bonnie doesn’t have a face but Toy Bonnie does
Sparky is the father of FNAF hoaxes & I'm glad Scott decided to include him in the movie 💜
Meaning Sparky is no longer a Hoax!
@@goofy-ahh101. agreed
ngl i feel like initially the golden freddy scream was just used so it was more of a variety than the same scream the player hears a lot, but maybe will be explained into the lore at some point
Its been more than a decade since the first game, I don’t think it’s ever going to be explained …
@@insomniacloserxo LOL FAIR 😂 love your theory tho, makes a bunch of sense
Anyone remember the first Game Theory episode on FNaF, the one that took the animatronics and tiny amount of lore we got and related it to a real life shooting? Yeah, 2014 FNaF was a weird time...
This brings back so many memories, i still remember trying to catch these "secret" characters
I'm glad they didn't stop with fnaf 4 because its clear the intended story would have been the dream theory which would have been very unsatisfying.
39:42 Pretty sure this fan concept is directly responsible for the gameplay of POPGOES
don't forget the other part of the foxy being a good guy theory. people thought that he was damaged because he was outcasted from the other animatronics and they didn't like him. this reinforced the fact that he may be trying to work against them, and also gave an explanation onto why he was like that because now after the bite of 87 thing was debunked now that I think about it I don't think there ever was a reason for how fucked up he was.
Am I crazy or does fnaf 3 not have a custom night? Either way fun video!
It doesn’t i remembered completely wrong 😭
Same, I was very confused when he said about the custom night in fnaf 3
@@insomniacloserxo guess it cam also count as a hoax
Me: agreeing with the villan of a movie
My friends watching the full fnaf story with me:🤨
Haha
@@insomniacloserxo you have to do what you have to do, even if it means killing multiple children then stuffing there bodies in suits (i'm also a kid btw)
44:37 I think amusement parks have those big street lamp things, so maybe you can turn on the lamps using the cameras to attract the animatronics
31:17 hang on a minute has anyone else noticed this?
Look at the numbers at the top left
They act as normal goin up a hundred points for each life given but as soon as golden Freddy jump scares you the numbers change to 5913
I mean it’s 2023 9 years after the game released but could this mean something?
It can change to a whole bunch of different random numbers so probably no significance, just a little extra subtle element of messed-up-ness.
My theory is the something happened👍
That’s crazy because I made the same exact theory before!
@@insomniacloserxo yea when that thing happened in there it was crazy
@@insomniacloserxo also i have an idea for a troll
In one video, whichever you like, just put a metal pipe sound effect at a completly random part
The FNAF fangame POPGOES features an the titular character Popgoes the Weasel building an "animatronic" vessel for a ghost the possess to kill the player.
I haven’t played POPGOES so I didn’t know but I’ll be checking it out :)
My guess for Phone Guy is:
Phone Guy notices Foxy and he slammed the door
Chica appears on the right door
Freddy was in the kitchen because apparently he plays the toreador March in the kitchen
And golden Freddy appears
Two outcomes after this
A: Golden Freddy kills Phone Guy, and the static is him being killed
Or
B: Phone Guy pulls out an axe, and whacks Golden Freddy with it, with the static being Golden Freddy getting knocked out, and phone Guy escaping.
