Neither one nor the other!!! Caleb is a fool, vain and immature, he has been emotionally involved with almost all the women in the series, not even Lou has escaped him. Narhan, a spoiled, immature, poorly defined cowboy in love, needs Amy as his analyst, his psychologist. In my opinion, Amy needs to strengthen herself as a mother and woman first and then bring another man into her life. Lyndy needs her mother, and she needs to know the story of her father, Ty Borden, to then accept another man in her life.
Never liked Caleb's attitudes, he's just an opportunist.

I know the article said team Nathan or team Caleb,but I chose Neither cuz Neither can replace Ty. I keep hearing he doesn’t want to return, my opinion he should for his fans. We not asking him to do more then one season just for him to come back to Amy and his daughter so heartland can finish on a good note and that all his work he did for 13 years would also contribute to a happy ending. My opinion I don’t think they care what fans care about. If Graham/Ty will not return, then like I heard most fans say Amy should be telling their daughter stories about her dad and how he turn his life around when he got to Heartland. Simply put Graham/Ty shouldn’t be forgotten,because he played a main character for 13 years.

Team neither! Both divorcee's, one 7 years older than Amy and please don't say age is not a big deal! Both are duds! Caleb can be a good friend & godfather, he has no direction in his life. Nathan we have only heard from him about his ex wife. Not sure there isn't more to the story! Plus he is a terrible rancher! Can't ride a horse, can barely sit on one if it's moving! Lol! Yeah he challenged Amy on her and Ty's past and that is a no no! Simply do not like the guy! As this is the last season why is there a need to explore more romance for Amy?? She gave her heart away to Ty just like her mom gave her heart away to one and one only! Amy said in front of family and friends that Ty gave her enough love to last her lifetime! That means something at least to my thinking. Let her run the course of season 18 just like her mom did. Let her focus on her daughter and have those talks with Lyndy about her dad and him being a great father etc. Let her get back into her expertise as a horse whisperer and let her focus on the youth center for troubled teens which was set up in honor of Ty! Amy for whatever reason is making every attempt to remove Ty from her and Lyndy's memory!! And please don't tell me a person needs to find another partner in order to move on with one's life! "Garbage"!! This is a family drama show not a soap opera or dating show!! Amy, since Ty's passing your men interests have been disgusting to say the least! What would her strong willed, independent mother have done in Amy's situation ?? Sure not what Amy has done! And for that matter what would Ty have done if the roles were reversed between him & Amy!! Nita thanks for a very good comparison, and I am Team Neither and in full agreement with you...Well I like Caleb but he is not the guy for Amy because he was Ty's best friend and he said he felt a betrayal of Ty after he kissed Amy in season 17...Nathan is an emotional mess and Amy even said that the more she got to know him the more confusing he was but more so he insulted Amy and Ty's relationship....but most importantly, the primary reason for the success of Heartland is the Amy and Ty love story....a love story that was so powerful it can't ever be duplicated...coupled with 14 years of fans getting to know and love Ty makes him impossible to replace...so Amy's heart being pulled in 2 different directions which forces her to make a difficult decision may mean she selects no one because she is still in love with Ty.

Yes, Caleb and Amy did have a pass together when they were younger. But with Caleb and Amy, I do not think there could be anything romantic there. Just a very deep relationship 😮 nothing more. as for Nathan Price Junior and Amy, there is about an eight or nine years difference in age there my personal opinion is that he’s only gonna be using her to get to her grandpa Jack and her dad Tim to take over the cattle business of the area
If season 18 will be the final season of Heartland I think Graham should return to his daughter and Amy. When Season 14 Ty fell and Jack and Amy was over him, he wasn’t pronounced dead. Then a caption came on the screen which said one year later, Amy rides to the house and was remembering what the doctor had said, but what he had to say that and the Urn that was given to Amy had something else in there not Ty’s ashes. The writers and producers can find away, if Graham wanted to come back, which I think he should for his fans if this is the last season to end Heartland on a good note. Heartland is what got him to where he is now. Then they can all go do what makes them happy, just my opinion
Team Neither. Caleb is more like a brother to me or a confident for Amy. Amy deserves someone special in her life and that will treat Lindy like her Dad would have. I look forward to seeing Season 18 in the fall.

U can't bring Ty back. He died & they cremated him & scattered his dust in the pasture. I've heard rumors they're supposed to bring him back, but how after dying & being cremated.

Good question to ask because of the dynamics. The writers seem to have a challenge with the male actors talent with on screen chemistry with Amy. With family bonding, history in the character’s relationships along with loyalty there is Caleb. Would it be best to marry a stranger or your closest friend? In the original story Amy gets married to the neighbor who she grew up with as a child. Caleb has been there for 17 seasons. Nathan 2 seasons, Finn 1 season. If not Caleb then the Casing department and writers need to develop it. Amy has lost more than Ty, all her friends are gone. Soraya, Ashley these relationships were not replaced with other relationships. Yet through all that there is Caleb…..My choice is anticipating what casting, the writers and the actor develops……change of subject did you see Michelle Morgan in the new TV show Tracker?……..here is a thought does Nathan have a younger brother closer to Amy’s age? Caleb could inherit money and buy out both Sam, Nathan and Tim then acquire Maggie’s have Malory as a business partner in Maggie’s and Jake and Caleb partner on the Rodeo. 🤔 finally the writers have the words, casting have the selections, actors have the talent and the fans will find the story……..they could have replaced Ty with another actor to be Ty, but they did not.

Team Not Sure.... used to be Nathan but worried he's a short timer since the actor got a role in an HBO show. But Caleb I can't get onboard with regardless. Nobody ever seems to mention the fact that Caleb, for too long, has been made to come across as... not the sharpest tool in the shed, I guess is how I'll put it, and it REALLY bothers me. He's the lovable goof. Plus, Amy's relationship with him when she was what? 16, at best, was clearly (to me anyway) "this is how I'm going to make this other guy jealous" in a quite normal teenage behavior. It was always Ty for her. So all In sure about it....I WAS onboard with Finn (felt ALL the chemistry there), definitely not Caleb.... so not really sure.

the only way could work is by developing a good character with deeper reasons, and by deeper I mean a good and interesting back story, not just a broken heart. They need a very charismatic back story to make it appealing as a romantic interest of Amy. And a relatable but also cliffhanger goals that make us want him to accomplish besides the romantic motives. May be by doing a separate arch for that new character to build and grow on the show's followers.

It's hard to get past Amy and Tys relationship, because of the connection they had and obviously that strongly showed on screen. But if Caleb or Nathan are the choices, then I would kinda like Amy and Caleb to get together. I think that would compliment Ty and not let him be forgotten. But I seriously would like Amy to have the love she deserves and really want the series to continue. 🥰♥️🥰♥️🥰💯

Ok I like Caleb but as a romantic character for Amy he doesn't work. Caleb is in and out of relationships call it fast and furious. Caleb needs to stay in the friend zone. Now Nathan is a work in progress. Before everyone gets them tying the knot we need to develop his character enough for not only Amy but us(the audience) to get to know him. We have to remember Ty was damaged goods when Amy met him, she may be attracted to the fixer-uper type. Ty was a popular character but the audience cannot expect a young widow to pine for her dead husband until she is old and lonely. That is not what Ty would of wanted for her. As long as Lyndy is number one let Amy have fun exploring her options.

Not Caleb. Caleb needs to be like a brother to Amy. He needs to watch over Amy and Lyndy. I see no chemistry between Amy and Caleb. There is a lot we still need to find out about Nathan. I think there could be chemistry there. I think they are both hurting, which may draw them together. I think there will be a lot of drama between Nathan, Amy and Jack. I don’t think there was anything between Nathan and Lou. I think Nathan just happened to come across Lou and he gave her his jacket because she was cold. So for now, I’m team Nathan.

Team Nathan. Ty is gone & never coming back. The show has moved on, just like real life. The show would go backwards if Ty comes back & that would be the end of the show. I understand fans liked them together, but Graham doesn't want to be in the show & people should respect his decision.
I am on team Nathan and the reason I am saying that is because Nathan is a nice guy and obviously still has feelings for Amy. I think that yes there will always be a 50/50 dawn the middle but I think if Amy knows wish guy she likes than she will pick one or the other. I don’t see any connection with her and Caleb and that is fine but I don’t see a good connection between her and Nathan I do think Amy will picked Nathan price over cable Odell. But that’s is just opinion
