Hey Man, I just saw this and I LOVE it. I'm the man from Kentucky that just called you. And I have a 160 acres I need to clear. I just had all the big trees Logged and this looks like the best thing I ever seen. I will be buying one from you all real soon. Thanks.
Rome K/G clearing blades are the best and have been around for more than 60 years. With Rome Blades you can get to the root of the problem not just slice the top off and next year have all shoots growing up again.
*Get Rid Of The Music* It doesn't make our viewing experience any better than if having got to hear the actual sounds of the machines, tools, processes, etc! Oh and that is a PRETTY COOL tool you guys got.... over 10 years here on youtube and this is the first time seeing one of them
Looks like it works...but what's the point? If you are clearing land the stump is still in the ground. You can't plow that..or build on it... but I guess you can make a road without stumps sticking up...til they rot out leaving pot holes.
Honestly it doesn't leave stumps tall, they're flush with the ground. Usually you knock down all the trees/brush with the blade then you root plow it afterwards. It's just a different way of doing things
That dozer has a ripper. Rip the tree roots then push the the tree an stump out of the ground. Cutting the tree is fine but you still half to dig the stump out .
Eddie Mason Very true. But we all know dealing with stumps is a pain. If you dont HAVE to dig the stump out, heck, leave it. And this does seem pretty quick. Probably pretty limited use but its a good tool if ya need it.
@@steverivinius5686 the stump and more importantly, the root system, binds the soil in the surrounding area around where the tree was. When removed, the earth is loosened by the act of removal, usually creates a void from rootball removal, and makes the soil more susceptible to both wind and water erosion.
Iwork in agricultural construction and we have an attachment very similar to this except it goes on the front of a bobcat and has a grapple on the top.
Hi, Folks. NOT the way I would choose to do it. It leaves the stump in the ground with ZERO leverage to get it out and there is little to NO control over where the falling tree will fall once it is cut - - - INCLUDING the strong possibility of having it fall back over the machine - AND the operator. Thanks all the same but I think I'll stick to using a dozer with a ripper and/or a tree pusher bar or a track front end loader with a ripper. Just my 0.02. You all have a wonderful, SAFE day. Best wishes. Deas Plant.
How many passes to cut the bigger trees that’s pretty Awesome though and would also be cool a close up of the blade and a close up on cutting proses thickness of the blade so stay Awesome that’s a Amazing peace of Equipment there .
I'd just mix up some redbull with gasoline and rip those oak trees out of the ground with my bear hands. Not a typo, I had an operation. You should see them, claws are awesome.
i was curious too, here is the one from the same poster as this video ruclips.net/video/NRj14_sxBlY/видео.html but i am curious how it would work on little bigger trees
So.... you use fuel to "saw" those out with a dozer even have to go back and grab the stump out? No, I'll just not be ignorant about it and do it right the first time.
The only true tree or stump splitter or gruber a rare not made any more by fleco is a stump block with a splitter attached on it in which we made the splitter an I have one on a d7 cat,,, what your seeing is a tree saw the stump is still there in the ground ,,,my family done it for 50 years pushing an splitting fat lighter pine stumps for Hercules powder company through the the south east my dad started back in the 40s an is continued till now used on a cat d7 or d8 dozer
So instead of using the dozer to push the tree out with the roots in one shot we can cut it down with the dozer then go back and try to pry the stumps and roots out. Obviously not a good solution if you need stumps removed
If the stumps have to go they wouldn't use this. An excavator would be the best method for removing the tree and stump. The area he's in looks to be pasture land. He is probably just getting the trees out of the way, this method leaves the stumps low enough that they can be mowed over and not tear up a mower. The issue then is filling stump holes repeatedly because stumps don't rot away all at once. And hitting a stump with a mower is one thing, running a tractor off into a huge hole while telling yourself "I know there is a huge frickin hole around here somewhere" becomes a whole different thing. Or there's also the whole calling the sheriff to report that someone stole 5 of your cows, only to have the deputies show up and find them all in big ass holes where the stumps used to be kind of situation. 😱😒😒🤣🤣🤣
@BOSS MAN cutting that stump that close to the ground makes it much more difficult to get out of the ground that's why that is so stupid. A Little Common Sense their boss
What about the roots under the ground????? next spring you got all saplings growing back up! And what if a farmer wants to tile his new land??? Nope! too many roots in the ground! The Rome K/G clearing blade has got this toy beat by all means!!!!!!!
Why would a farmer want to "tile" his land? Do you not realize how HARD it would be to GROW anything if it's covered in TILE? Ceramic tile is the hardest
Like any tool, it has a purpose and it appears to do well with what it was intended to do.

Have fun farming that ground.
right , root rakes not needed
hAvE fUn fArMinG tHaT gRoUnD.
yep pasture grass for the first few years, til the stumps start to rot then deep plow and disc,,,row crops shortly,,,its gonna work out neatly,,,,

Yeah I agree....why leave the stump?? Lol
Just LOOK at all that FIREWOOD !!

Awesome, now you still have to go back and remove the stumps...

And where is all the fill dirt going to come from to fill the 5 yard hole from the stump ? Much more efficient to cut the stumps off level.
Helps to keep down erosion by leaving stump in place.
Why

Great tunes!
I think having this on a track loader , quick attached mounted.
Iwork in agricultural construction and we have an attachment very similar to this except it goes on the front of a bobcat and has a grapple on the top.
Now that’s the way to clear trees
That is super cool

That's really cool!
I would prefer to hear the equipment not music! Ruins the whole video! 😵🙉
At least it was the stones
Rusty Nails just couldn’t help Bitching about something.
And you leave the base of the tree for termite infestation?
What about the roots?
Lets see it take out those trees on the ditch bank like a Rome K/G blade CAN.
Good 좋아요
Good if ya like regrown stumps in 6 mths

nice
What happens when the tree falls the wrong way and lands on your dozer?
You ship yer pants , hopefully you got cab protection
Incredible invention!
Need more volume on the video next time.
great on flat land
Humans have to be the smartest people on earth..
Randy Trader, Are there other “people” out there that I’m not aware of?
@@josephfolsom2030 yes... People with a sense of humor....
Randy Trader that is the funniest comment on here. Well done sir!
we just not gonna worry about the root balls?
So what the hie operator has to go around hunting for stumps now?
Michael VIENS If you have a job where ya dont have to pull em? Leave em!
I hate the sound of tractors... I hear it everyday 😭
So.... you use fuel to "saw" those out with a dozer even have to go back and grab the stump out?
No, I'll just not be ignorant about it and do it right the first time.
Why do you need to dig the stump out when your turning the land into pasture?
no volume on the Rolling Stones? now that is a b um mer...
Say,what happens if a guy has a D8,you guys have something that fit that?
Guess this poor dude never heard of a $250 chainsaw.......
All fun til the tee falls on equipment
thats why there is a cage around the whole thing
Dunno if it's been mentioned. But that's a D. Not a C. They love doing finals
Very cool setup though
A hydro-ax works a Hell of a lot better

I can't say I've ever seen what you're describing. I would REALLY like to see one of those working, please post a video of it sometime.

Rather a tree pusher
A serrated tree pusher
@@Greg-xq5ux yes on the front edge for a bit of bite, but mounts to top of blade on a pivot so can go vertical. Much safer and uproots the whole stump
none of them can come close to and excevater with a hyd thumb
I have excavators how do I cut trees down with them?
Umm 😐 you can’t cut down a tree with a thumb ?? You can push it over and grab it but that’s not cutting it
Seem like makes them stumps a bitch to dig up
That's stupid it leaves the stump

That would not last long in Tennessee the rocks would eat it up.
Tennessee isn't the only place where rocks exist.
Ed Crowell some people r done
that is a d6c ha d6d
Or you could just push them out
flait land only
I could did it faster with chain saw
Not even feasible , long term headaches when stumps start rotting . Nah ,do it right the first time .
Why the stupid music?
