This is when you want more land so one can grow many beautiful trees, shrubs, perennials and annuals ;)

Which lilac is ideal to build a square compact hedge of 5 to 6 feet tall fast, covered by flowers from the bottom to the top? I am considering Miss Kim, dwarf Korean, boomerang... please advise. Thanks

If 4-5' would work I would recommend Bloomerang Dark Purple. Full coverage spring bloom and in cycles through blooms through out the summer.

I have not noticed any of that. I have them at the greenhouse and at my home. I think the old fashion type may do some of that.

Typically a smaller and more heat tolerant variety.
