These lads are very good. People who don’t play snooker will never know just how skilled these guys are. To not only pot the object ball and put the cue ball within a couple of inches of perfect position is amazingly skilful. 👍👍👍

He shot it into the pocket and it bounced back on the table, nearly knocking the red in
Perry couldn't escape but made a surprisingly good effort and the referee applied some discretion and didn't call a miss - otherwise Gilbert might have won the whole frame with that fluke. They chased the balls for a further 30 minutes and Perry got a little revenge with a really tough snooker of his own that Gilbert missed a couple of times, but eventually Gilbert won the frame.

Few hours back, I know nothing about this game..but now I am addicted to it..wt a brilliant game.
I'm no snooker player, but love watching the game for the incredible strategy and precise control, and placement, of the ball. To me I could marvel at the astounding skill of Higgins and Trump all day. Great stuff!! 👍

Can anyone explain why #2 is #2? Its a wonderful shot, I can see that much, but it looks like the compilation has a few shots similar to that whereas there are some others in the top ten that are higher than those, but lower than #2
I will never understand how Williams' shot at 3:37 is not one of the top ten shots of the 2019 world championships... hampered as he was and he still put the red in the heart of the pocket. An absolutely insane shot under the circumstances.

Watched the match, ref only called foul. Joe Perry actually made a great attempt to hit the red! However, it was not enough and Gilbert won the frame(which isn't a surprise after that shot).
Cahill's black against Ronnie was way better than Higgings. That shot should be at 10th or 9th. best shot should be Gary Wilson's perfect lined safety against Judd Trump
I am new to snooker. What would happen after the very last shot (bonus footage). I mean there is no way he can hit a red without touching the pink. So does he lose the frame automatically?

For those who think that 19 was a fluke, If one looks closely, the cue ball was in contact with the cushion, so there was absolutely no chance of cueing it such that it produces the amount of spin to get the cue ball back to the cushion and he was aware of that. So, he had only two choices, either to get a touching ball within the bunch of reds, or to take the pot on (which he did) such that he's left with the black. The reason for why he played with a tilt is that if would have played it normally without tilting the cue, the cue ball would have ended with a follow which was not favourable for him as the blue was not on its spot, so he wouldn't be able to use the blue to come back to the bunch of reds.

I don’t think John Higgins has ever missed a double!
He did a difficult double, potting I think a colour at the top of the table, rebounded and into the bottom pocket in a thrilling UK Championship final against Mark Williams earlier in the decade. He actually won the final frame decider, coming from behind when Williams was one away from victory.
