    Beautiful video and excellent recipe! I followed your instructions to season the broth, my only change was using homemade dashi instead of the powder. The results were fantastic! It was a wonderful meal with friends on a cold evening.

    Wait can you cook the broth and veggies in the same pan? So after you bring the broth to a boil, then throw in all the ingredients?

    • @AnnsHomeCuisine
      @AnnsHomeCuisine  4 года назад +1

      Thank you for watching. You could use the same pot. I separated it because I strained the soup before adding it to the veggies. If you are fine having chopped garlic, ginger and onion in your soup, you can use the same pot. I also used clay pot which I don't usually use for saute so I use other pot to make a broth then assemble together in the clay pot as a finishing. Clay pot is better presentation especially if you have guests. But if you are cooking for yourself and your family, you can use any pot of your choice. 😀

    could you tell me the difference between miso nabe and chanko nabe. i learned the last one from a sumo wrestler so i may e spelling it wrong

    • @AnnsHomeCuisine
      @AnnsHomeCuisine  Год назад

      Hello, according to the Wikipedia (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chankonabe), The dish contains a dashi or chicken broth soup base with sake or mirin to add flavor. Whereas Miso nabe is miso based soup. 😊

    Can I ask should I use red miso paste or white miso paste?

    • @AnnsHomeCuisine
      @AnnsHomeCuisine  2 года назад

      Hello, you can use any miso of your choice. You can use Awase Miso (red and white combined). If you want saltier, use the Red Miso and if you want sweeter, use the White Miso. If you want it balanced, look for the Awase Miso or you can mix the Red and White.
