Beautiful video and excellent recipe! I followed your instructions to season the broth, my only change was using homemade dashi instead of the powder. The results were fantastic! It was a wonderful meal with friends on a cold evening.
Great to hear that it was fantastic! YEs if you have the time to make a homemade dashi, that would be better 🥰

Hope you enjoy this dish. just throw everything together. That's the beauty of hot pot, put everything and it is delicious! 🥰
After you make the miso soup broth, is it not bad to boil it after you add the miso paste?
Thank you for your comment. It is okay. Just don't over boil it.
Do people sometimes use bonito to flavor the broth like dashi?
You can use bonito flakes to get some broth or use the hondashi powder.
I used enoki mushrooms many times i never thought to cut it with the bag on like, holy shit im so woke right now! lol
Thank you for watching!😁 Hope you learned some lifehack from my video😄
omg same
@@AnnsHomeCuisine Do you need to wash enoki mushrooms?
Watashi kiki mass anatha music last music nyhhon arigato gozai mass domo matane.
Miso Nabe + Kimchi paste ?
Hi, what was the dipping sauce? Just simple soy sauce?
Hello, you can use Ponzu Sauce. Something like this: amzn.to/49nVzqR
Wait can you cook the broth and veggies in the same pan? So after you bring the broth to a boil, then throw in all the ingredients?
Thank you for watching. You could use the same pot. I separated it because I strained the soup before adding it to the veggies. If you are fine having chopped garlic, ginger and onion in your soup, you can use the same pot. I also used clay pot which I don't usually use for saute so I use other pot to make a broth then assemble together in the clay pot as a finishing. Clay pot is better presentation especially if you have guests. But if you are cooking for yourself and your family, you can use any pot of your choice. 😀
@@AnnsHomeCuisine amazing, thanks for getting back to me! Going to try this today x
could you tell me the difference between miso nabe and chanko nabe. i learned the last one from a sumo wrestler so i may e spelling it wrong
Hello, according to the Wikipedia (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chankonabe), The dish contains a dashi or chicken broth soup base with sake or mirin to add flavor. Whereas Miso nabe is miso based soup. 😊
Omg I thought I click on the wrong video I thought it was Howtobasic he puts this song on sometimes
This is different Howto. Actually the yummy hot pot howto video (not the comedy one) 😊
I would keep everything not used into a frozen ziplock for an awesome soup. Throw nothing away. Freeze and use later.
Great idea! Yes the soup is very tasty 😊
Can I ask should I use red miso paste or white miso paste?
Hello, you can use any miso of your choice. You can use Awase Miso (red and white combined). If you want saltier, use the Red Miso and if you want sweeter, use the White Miso. If you want it balanced, look for the Awase Miso or you can mix the Red and White.
@@AnnsHomeCuisine thank you , that really helpful
That’s a lot more than 8 tbs of miso paste 😅
