I bought this tripod in 2017 to keep at my trailer in Florida where I am a snowbird. Photography has been my main hobby since about 1969, and I did wedding photography on the side in the seventies and early eighties. I have a pro level tripod where I live in Southern Illinois, but this is a really nice tripod for the price. I'm sure you will enjoy this unit for many years to come. Great review Mike. Thank you sir
We want to thank you for subscribing to our channel. After checking out your video selection, we subscribed to yours as well. Thank you so much for checking us out and sharing information. Looking forward to checking out your many other videos. My grandfather worked for Santa Fe RR as a fireman when he was young, and his dad worked for Baltimore Northern. The two trains later merged after my grandfather had passed away. Who doesn't love model trains, right? God bless.
Your fluid drag head looks identical to the one that I bought separate from the tripod. You will really enjoy using it with the smooth action. No more herky-jerky movements. Enjoy Mike!
That was an excellent review! I've been looking for a good tripod that isn't overly expensive, and I think you sold me on this one. I really like that you point out all the features while you were testing it out as well as showing us what it looks like when recording with it. Super helpful! -Joe
Thanks for the review, Mike. I need a good fluid head tripod. Mine works great for still shots or video, but it stinks for any kind of panning due to the action of the head. Looking quickly at Google, it looks like you got a bargain. They run $99-$130. Move to the other side for left had use to keep your right hand free to operate the camera if you prefer. Very nice action! Thanks again, Mike.
Mike, that's a very nice tripod. Fluid heads are always much smoother and much more fun to shoot with. Nice that they added a level bubble to it. I agree with you about the crank arm, that could be a problem down the road. D. Muse
awesome tri pod Mike.. i need to get one also... the one i have is probably 15 years old & i sounds like it when i pan with it... thanks for the review... vinny
When i start documenting the D.M.C.rr ill be using my early 80's vintage Gitzo and Leica D lux 114 (Lumix FZ1000). In other words stuff i already have. But ill look into a fluid head need a new head anyway.

I bought my tripod in 1969 at Hickam Air Force Base. Still trucking and works well. Your new one looks good.
Thanks Craig, I guess you got your money's worth!!

I most definitely did. Took allot of airplane pictures those days and needed it for the big lens.
