Lucy is the reason I. started watching Jimmy. I checked their RUclips channel every day for updates on Lucy and her Herd. I am in tears and heartbreak over her loss. for Jimmy and Chris.
Me too, I even named my wild deer who came to me last spring to help with her young deer, a doe, so she got Nina’s name, just really tugging at my heart, I loved watching how she trusted Jimmy and Chi’s.
Mr. Houston has shown us he is one Exceptionally Strong Man...especially these last few weeks. I've been watching him since i was a little Tyke....Thank you So much for Teaching me what it's like to be a kinds, wonderful, sharing and loving human. RIP our 'Deerest' Lucy.

She may not could speak as you and I do, but she didn't have to. You could sense when she was happy - content and when she was scared. Those big beautiful eyes told the story she could not - of how thankful she was - that you saved her life. She was to humans - as a dog is to man - his true best friend. She was the dearest deer - a doe of love - a pink ribbon of glow - for all to know. I am so sorry for your loss. I have rescued a baby deer a year ago. She was in the middle of the street crying and alone.My son picked her up and brought her to my house and I fed her a bottle of goat replacement milk with a kitten bottle that's how tiny she was. I had her for 4 days until I could get her into the wildlife rescue center. I fed her every 2 hours and she was the sweetest little girl. I fell in love with her and she thought I was her mom after 1 day. I know this is so hard to take after you took such great care of her.You and Miss Crris are angels and should be praised for your love of one of God's beautiful creatures. One great memory of Lucy and Chris was Chris introduced Lucy to french fries and boy did Lucy love them. Chris couldn't feed them to her quick enough. That made me laugh so hard. She will be missed.

😥😥😥. I read the title and thought OH NO Lord don’t let this tragedy be about Lucy. Ya have to feel like a punching bag Jimmy having the dearest things in your life not there to help you up and laughing that laugh we all love. With Gods hand of healing your beloved Chris will hopefully have a full recovery. But Lucy the worlds beloved deer is now running freely in Heaven as God sees how well you and Chris cared for her. This will definitely be the most difficult thing to tell Chris much much later when she can handle the news. But for now we can see it has broken your heart. She DID leave a legacy behind and almost defied the odds with her third birthday. This we will all remember but mostly we will always remember the love you and Chris shared with her and her amazing herd and how proudly you shared these Friday’s with the lovely Lucy. God saw your home and thought that day you found her on the road that it was a beautiful place to help her recover and teach the world how truly deer are to the world. That’s our Lucy but now she’s entertaining God in the place we all look forward to going to one day but now she’s looking down on you and expect you to keep caring for the herd and her babies. Sure hope Chris finally made it to the right facility and doctor so that she can start her therapy. Those things happen but glad Jack is on top of it. Spare you more grief. Hate to see you on the long drive alone after finding Lucy but sometimes it’s better in order to converse with the Lord. Just be safe Jimmy and know WE LOVE YOU TOO. The deer are looking for Chris. When I was in the hospital, my 11 month old Maine Coon slipped out the front door. I'm sure he was looking for me. Thank God he hid in the bushes and I scooped him up when I got home 9 hours later. I am so very sorry! Crying with you. Praying for all of you to come out of this valley soon. So very hard to understand!
I’m so sorry, Jimmy. I truly don’t know how you stay so strong. First, lovely Chris, who I pray for daily and now sweet Lucy is gone, probably carrying fawns. My heart is broken, destroyed....I lost my mother and father in the past month, every penny eaten up on nursing home for one of them, and Chris’s videos of Lucy were the only happiness I had left in my life. God seems to listen to my prayers to help others and he often does what I pray for but never for me, or what I ask help for myself....I just can’t understand. I was raised on a farm and deer hunted....I live in Houston now and I haven't hunted since I left the farm in 83....I started watching RUclips looking at hunters hunting in Sam Houston National Forest. I stumbled onto Lucy and the herd when I would be looking at deer hunters filming their hunts....in fact, I want to video tape deer in the forest while they are grazing etc.....I always look forward to watching Chris feed the deer and your love for Lucy......its an affair only animal lovers will understand....I'm so sorry for your loss.....the whole world will mourn her.....she has touched my life and lots of lives in the world......she will be missed.....RIP Lucy I Love You!

RIP Lucy! We will all miss her!
Rest in peace, sweet angel Lucy. I promise I will see you very soon, if heaven has grapes and I’d like to think they do, I will give you some, beautiful girl. 😭 I lost my only bonded doe, Lily, in December and can’t take any more loss. My heart is completely destroyed. Run free, dear angel. If you only knew how very much loved you were......💖...and to me, still are loved. Run free, you are in the best possible place. This world is full of nothing but hate and hurt..at least to me. I will take a very long walk through a very huge forest and you’ll know me as the one who is with all the deer, helping them, loving them, all the things Chris and Jimmy did for you.
OH JIMMY,,, I'm SO sorry. She was a joy to all of us. She will be missed by a lot of us. I know your heart is breaking right now. All I can say is : GOD Bless.

I am so sorry for your loss. I have rescued a baby deer a year ago. She was in the middle of the street crying and alone.My son picked her up and brought her to my house and I fed her a bottle of goat replacement milk with a kitten bottle that's how tiny she was. I had her for 4 days until I could get her into the wildlife rescue center. I fed her every 2 hours and she was the sweetest little girl. I fell in love with her and she thought I was her mom after 1 day. I know this is so hard to take after you took such great care of her.You and Miss Crris are angels and should be praised for your love of one of God's beautiful creatures. One great memory of Lucy and Chris was Chris introduced Lucy to french fries and boy did Lucy love them. Chris couldn't feed them to her quick enough. That made me laugh so hard. She will be missed.

😥😥😥. I read the title and thought OH NO Lord don’t let this tragedy be about Lucy. Ya have to feel like a punching bag Jimmy having the dearest things in your life not there to help you up and laughing that laugh we all love. With Gods hand of healing your beloved Chris will hopefully have a full recovery. But Lucy the worlds beloved deer is now running freely in Heaven as God sees how well you and Chris cared for her. This will definitely be the most difficult thing to tell Chris much much later when she can handle the news. But for now we can see it has broken your heart. She DID leave a legacy behind and almost defied the odds with her third birthday. This we will all remember but mostly we will always remember the love you and Chris shared with her and her amazing herd and how proudly you shared these Friday’s with the lovely Lucy. God saw your home and thought that day you found her on the road that it was a beautiful place to help her recover and teach the world how truly deer are to the world. That’s our Lucy but now she’s entertaining God in the place we all look forward to going to one day but now she’s looking down on you and expect you to keep caring for the herd and her babies. Sure hope Chris finally made it to the right facility and doctor so that she can start her therapy. Those things happen but glad Jack is on top of it. Spare you more grief. Hate to see you on the long drive alone after finding Lucy but sometimes it’s better in order to converse with the Lord. Just be safe Jimmy and know WE LOVE YOU TOO. Yeah!! I’m 67 years old and that’s the first time I’ve ever seen a deer in a boat unless it was being rescued!
The deer are looking for Chris. When I was in the hospital, my 11 month old Maine Coon slipped out the front door. I'm sure he was looking for me. Thank God he hid in the bushes and I scooped him up when I got home 9 hours later.

My Maine Coon Roy ( named after Roy from Sigfried and Roy) is the coolest animal that we've ever had. Lot of dog like characteristics.
I’m so sorry, Jimmy. I truly don’t know how you stay so strong. First, lovely Chris, who I pray for daily and now sweet Lucy is gone, probably carrying fawns. My heart is broken, destroyed....I lost my mother and father in the past month, every penny eaten up on nursing home for one of them, and Chris’s videos of Lucy were the only happiness I had left in my life. God seems to listen to my prayers to help others and he often does what I pray for but never for me, or what I ask help for myself....I just can’t understand. Thank you and Chris for all the joy you’ve given me. I’m very grateful. Goodbye, friends.

I was raised on a farm and deer hunted....I live in Houston now and I haven't hunted since I left the farm in 83....I started watching RUclips looking at hunters hunting in Sam Houston National Forest. I stumbled onto Lucy and the herd when I would be looking at deer hunters filming their hunts....in fact, I want to video tape deer in the forest while they are grazing etc.....I always look forward to watching Chris feed the deer and your love for Lucy......its an affair only animal lovers will understand....I'm so sorry for your loss.....the whole world will mourn her.....she has touched my life and lots of lives in the world......she will be missed.....RIP Lucy I Love You!
