- I put clickbait Minecraft TikTok's and clickbait Minecraft shorts to the test with my insane levels of Minecraft knowledge for a second time (for my sake that is a joke). A lot of these have gone viral for a Minecraft clip so lets see if millions have been lied to once more! However some of the TikToks are actually very interesting but are they real? LETS SEE!

that fence gate door is kinda irrelevant now since sneaking makes you 1.5 blocks tall allowing you to pass through, but it was kinda cool in older versions

I think a better method to clear out a lava lake is by using scaffolding as it is mined instantly, but if you want diamonds in big veins go in an underwater cave as they are not air-exposed

@@Chiefxd.you take damge from instant damage pot first they you take the fall damages damge in the same tick this means if the damage you take from the fall damge is higher than insta harming you will take the fall damge damage and not take the harming damge so it doesnt save you from dying
the hostile confusion when fences do the thing that they were added to minecraft specifically to do (block passage half a block above them)

A better alternative to the glass is using F3. There is a certain text which says which BLOCK you are looking at, THROUGH LIQUIDS. All you have to do is examine the lava lake for diamonds. Exposed diamonds spawn in 1 or 2 veins, while non-exposed diamonds, those which are covered by liquids or blocks usually spawn way more, with an extremely higher chance of an eight vein. An even better way is to use underwater caves, since they have unexposed diamonds that are able to see, like going in caves but with more diamonds (doors only work with Java, easy to drown for Bedrock players).

3:12 fences and closed fence gates have a collision hitbox of 1.5 blocks and when you open the fence gate, the collision gets removed which allows you to walk over it. This is also why you float slightly above fences and fence gates when you stand on them, as well as why you can’t jump over them without jump boost

bro cheif, the trick that give you no fall damage is lie, you just got no fall damage because the tick of respawning.
meaning when you respawn after like 3 or 4 sec you dont get any damage, you jump fast so you didint get fall damage.

For the efficiency IV leather boots the guy either had protection on the boots, re-textured diamond/netherite boots, or had regeneration I.

also the answer is the instant damage potion because minecraft takes the highest damage per tick and fall damage does more damage than the potion. if it was a small fall and you used the potion it'd technicallyyy cancel the fall but you'd be taking more damage so eh

For 3:12, i think it works cause fences and fence gates are abit taller than most blocks (This is so you cant jump over them) and you can get over fences with carpets, but because there's a block in the way (being the block above the door) it prevents you from passing
5:40 that clutch actually works but you didn’t do it… you survived because you have a 3 second spawn immunity after respawning that’s why you survived

It's almost impossible to do from a low height.
It was 100% spawn immunity lol.
I think it's patched in newer versions.
It doesn't work on some Y levels for some reason, so if it doesn't work, build up by placing 1 to 3 blocks.
If you want to try it, go to version 1.18 or lower and build up to a height of 30 to 250 blocks or more.
At 13:50, if the lava isn't too deep, you can use F3 to identify the block you're looking at. It's significantly faster (used it like 3 years ago).
At 14:07, you don't have to pre-place it. Instead, you can shoot the arrow and then place the rail and cart; it's way better that way.
A couple of explinations and tips:
2:29 The gate's hitbox is 1.5 blocks tall, and goes through the carpet. You can crouch through it.
3:26 Setting the mobs on fire on bedrock does not work. So bedrock players, please don't try this.
4:49 Any block with a hitbox can block a tnt explosion. This is because explosions only effect players the lower part of players. Using a small block with a hitbox such as a candle could be good for a magic trick.
7:03 Instant damage works on bedock only, because bedrock is very buggy. So, the test is Java exclusive.
8:42 Frost Walker can actually completly negate magma damage.
12:53 High Fiving a Zombified Piglin does in fact make them follow you and will even fight.
13:01 The game thinks the skeleton killed the creepers with the TNT, which is true. Also works with strays.
13:48 Diamonds spawn more often/in larger amounts when not in contact with air.
Btw, here is a myth. If a Wither Skeleton shoots an arrow, the arrow will be on fire.

Someone probably answered it but oh well. The invisible door works because fences are actually a block and a half high to prevent you from jumping over it. You can test it by standing on a fence and even placing a slab under you and you’ll always be a block and a half high. That’s what prevents you from going through the door, but it opens when you press the button because a fence gate has no collision when it’s open to allow the player to walk through it. Because of this, the half a block height goes away on a button press. Lastly, the carpet hides the fence gate so it seems invisible while also preventing you from falling into the block when the fence gate is open. I used to build these all the time on my Xbox 360 and its cool until people know what’s going on.
About the shift mlg, its WAAYYYYY harder, what I think it happened is that you respawned and you had spawn protection so you didn't took fall dmg, cause it took me over 100 tries to get it...
The reason the invisible door works is because fences and fence gates, although visibly being 1 block tall, are actually 1.5 blocks tall collision-wise which is why most entities including players can't jump over them. Placing a carpet above them doesn't remove the extra 0.5 block height and instead overlaps the two. Therefore, when placed in a 1x2 block hole, the fence gate's presence actually means that there is only 1.5 blocks of space vertically, too small for a player to walk through. However, when a fence door is OPEN, which can be done either via player interaction or when powered by redstone, its collision box completely disappears to allow the player to walk through it. This obviously includes the 0.5 block space above it, meaning that when hidden by a shorter block like a carpet, it creates an invisible barrier 0.5 blocks tall- so when paired with a regular door frame, due to the player's height, it creates an "invisible" door.

The gate, when closed, has the same collisionbox height as a fence, and by now y'all should know that the fence doesn't care if there's a carpet above it, the Col. box goes thru the carpet. This door uses the same mechanic, but with a gate, cuz if a gate opens its col. box vanishes.

Instead of glass you can use f3 to see if there is diamonds under the lava. It used to work in 1.16 I havent played any updates after 1.16 so no idea. I might be wrong
Cobweb is false because to achieve this effect a block needs to be falling like sand, gravel, ignited tnt, ...
Cobweb doesn't change the blocks around it.
Stacked minecarts and boats act weird. In the past it was possible to stack multiple minecarts and let them drive in any direction without rails.
The fence door works because fences are 1.5 blocks high, even though the 3D model isn't. Therefore it blocks the doorway as the player has a height of 1.8 blocks. The wool just hides it.
Minecraft path finding allows entities to find water or avoid holes and lava, or even solve mazes, but it often fails as seen in the video.
For some reason explosion damage is worse on feet level than on head level. So blocking it off with a block negates most of the damage. This works also for beds in the nether/end and is a speedrun strategy.

So the fence gate carpet door thing dosent let you walk through when the gate is closed bc when it is since its a “fence” gate, the hit box is taller than a regular block, which hits your hit box and prevents you from moving, unless you open the fence gate

5:40 there is a cooldown when u respawn for like 5 sec until u can take damage, thats why it worked for u the glitch does work ive tried it but only if ur something like 50 plus blocks up

The invisible door work because fence gates hitboxes are 1.5 while closed and they dont habe hitbox while they are open and by putting a carpet on top you can walk on top of it but while closed fence gates hitbox goes trough carpets hitbox and prevents you from enetring because you cant fit trough
For the last one, you can use leaves instead of glass, as leaves are somewhat transparent.

You can put almost any enchant on any weapon or armor piece (with the exception of like some other items too) in creative mode, you do need to try it. I also works with really bad lag or something idk much about it all i know is i have a neth set on a server with impaling 5, eff. 5, bane of arthropods 5, and flame, and i got it all without cmds

this clutch is possible but you did it wrong, the reason why you survived is because you had spawn immunity which when you die and respawn or close the game and rejoin, you are immune to ALL damage for 3 seconds that also means if you close the game and rejoin a lot you will be immune to all damage forever so it can save you in a lava lake. BUT it doesnt work on multiplayer
