There is nothing I can say about your videos that has not been said before other than thank you for taking the time to upload them. And shearing them with people like myself..
I don't know if you know this but amongst the boating community . You are a bit of a legend .. many people have said that you are always willing to help others ..
I see that Leon is with you .which is nice to see...
Where ever you travel on the canals the older boaters will always welcome you .and Leon. They now regard you both as one of Thier own.... these people were born on the canals or of spent most of Thier lives living on the canals.. people who are new to the canals say that the older boaters are a ignorant. lot because they never get into conversation with them..???
Perhaps they should realise that the reason they do this is because they like their privacy. And peace and quiet .. for many this is the reason why they decided to live on the canals..
Anyway will it's a massive thumbs up from this very old narrow boater ..👍👍👍....you and your family members .will always be welcomed no matter where you are on the canals system..

Q about the swing bridge, could you tie the bow rope to the bridge & as you open the bridge the boat would move forward with it?!? I dunno, that probably wouldn't work, don't listen to me, forget I asked! LOL
🤣🤣 I found a chain that goes under the water, and it's attached to the other side. So I could've pulled it closed. I chose the hard way. Don't watch me, I have no idea. 🤣🤣

Morning Will. Those sunsets-out of this world plus your music. Intense! Cruising along about fifty feet above sea level, like floating on a mirror of the sky at times. Colour balance on the camera is great with concentrated colours that really suit the landscape. In '74 we hired a broads cruiser like that one on the Thames from Eynsham near the toll bridge. Finally, to best the word "wow", try wowsers.😂😂😂. All the best. Paul.

Navigation? The Lune has at least two weirs, one of then described as very dangerous for canoeists. I believe only the experienced, skilful and slightly mad attempt it, but other parts of the river are safe for canoes and are used by rowing clubs.
Looks like a nice river for boating. I didn't see much of a flow.

Myself and cousins used to race to that swing bridge in the summer holidays (80’s) to beat the other kids to open it for boaters for tips 😂 bought a lot of sweets that did

Wow , what a beautiful sunset , you could almost feel the heat from it , you were right about that big boat being a broads boat , it was an ex richos boat , it had even still got the letter R on the front lol, that would've been the first thing i'd have gotten rid of if i'd of bought it , i saw a boat at torksey near lincoln on the river , & that had also still got the R on it lol .

I've have a bike as well. We have a group of riders, who all ride the same bike mostly (Yamaha Raider), that get together every year in the Blue Ridge mountains of North Carolina. The riding and the scenery is absolutely stunning. There's a group from the UK who ship their bikes over here every few years to join in. The UK group usually makes a trip out of it and spends a week or two after our get together riding to different parts of the US. Not sure why I'm telling you about this but, it is a comment for you and every little bit helps...lol. Thanks for another one. Take care.
