    Thank you for posting this informative easy to use video. I followed your instructions to a tee. The scope is on a Tenpoint 440. I did a manual caliberation and just punched in the number 440 for arrow speed. At 50 yards, my arrow is in the center circle. I jumped back to 58 yards, locked in on the target and the arrow keeps hitting 2-3 inches low. I didnt go past 58 yards even though during setup it stated I was caliberated to 80 yards since I figured the shot would drop even more. Is there an additional setting in the scope that has to be calibrated to shot past 50 yards. Thank you

    • @GarminRetailTraining
      @GarminRetailTraining  Месяц назад

      Thank you for your comment. When you use auto-calibration, you get an aim point stack out to 80 yards based on the speed and ballistic calculations. If you find some of your aim points are off, you can edit the calibrated aim points in the list by going to Settings > Profiles > Active Profile > Aim Points. Select the range you would like to re-calibrate and select OK. If the bow speed is not accurate, the stack will not be accurate, so you can also adjust your bow speed and it will reset your aim point stack to the new speed. If you run into any issues, don't hesitate to reach out to our Product Support team at 800-800-1020 or support.garmin.com. They will be happy to assist.

    Is the max range 80 yards?

    • @GarminRetailTraining
      @GarminRetailTraining  2 месяца назад +1

      Thank you for your question. If you did an auto calibration, your max range will automatically be set to 80 yards. To increase the max range you can add additional calibrated ranges based on your setup. The following link has the instructions on how to add new aim points. I hope this helps. -Kevin

    Great video I have two questions
    what if shooting range that I use is only out to 40 yards and how would scope perform if only shooting 15 yards

    • @GarminRetailTraining
      @GarminRetailTraining  Год назад

      Thank you for your questions. If you know your bow speed, you can do the auto-calibration and the Xero X1i would calculate your pins out to the furthest distance for your setup. You would still want to shoot at the ranges you have access to in order to see if you need to make any adjustments. As far as 15 yards, it will perform just fine. If you have additional questions, please don't hesitate to reach out to our Product Support team at 800-800-1020 or support.garmin.com. They will be happy to assist.

    Love how they completely skip the fact that you have to figure out how to rout the cable out of the way of the string operation. Sold the garmin because this is a challenge and end up with a loose wire hanging or looped around the bow. Went with the Burris, with Bluetooth remote switch and lifetime warranty.

    Does this compensate for any angle and pins for any odd ball yards such as 37, 45, 64..etc as well as it does 30,40, 50 yard ranges? Thanks

      Thank you for your question. Yes, that's the beauty of this scope. It is angle compensated and will give you an aiming point for the exact distance/angle - whether it be an odd 37 yards or an even 50 yards (for example).

    Question... When ranging a deer, do you hold the button in or push and release? Also how many seconds does it take to lock on the target, and display yards? What about a senerio, we're a deer is walking and you may have to range him multiple times before shooting? Does the scope do this on the fly like that? Thanks..

    • @GarminRetailTraining
      @GarminRetailTraining  3 года назад +1

      Thank you for your questions. When ranging a target, just press and release the button. It will give you an instantaneous yardage and pin. You can do it as many times as you would like or as necessary to get an accurate reading if the target and/or bow are moving. OR, if both the target and bow are stationary, you can set the X1i to display the target lock feature where you would hold the button down for a few seconds. When repeated ranges are received, the X1i will indicate "Target Locked" and provide you with the yardage and pin. You can range your target either way, but Target Lock will only work properly when stationary. I hope this helps.

    So on the ravin r20 the cocking handle hits the lock nob do you make a smaller one

    • @kovuk9
      @kovuk9 3 года назад

      Hello John, Question, how much does it hit by? The reason I ask is I am considering putting one of these on my R10 and I would more than likely have the same issue. I am also wondering, is this like a typical scope or more of a red dot type meaning does the shooter have to have a specific amount of eye relief for a clear view or can it be moved forward and still have a clear view in the scope and clear the handle? Also, are small risers off of the picatinny rail and option to clear the handle? TYVM in advance.

    Saw your video on the new Garmin crossbow scope and purchased one. Also have quick question? 5 and 20 yd is on Target but a 50 yd it off to right by 3 inches.
    The scope only ask me to adjust up and down electronically? Do you know how to
    adjust left and right electronically?

    • @GarminRetailTraining
      @GarminRetailTraining  2 года назад +1

      Thank you for your question. You can only adjust windage manually, BUT there is a roll adjustment that you can use to dial in at 50 yards. Sometimes if the pic rail isn't perfectly aligned with the crossbow rail, your windage can be off at longer distances. Go to Settings > Pro Settings > 2nd Axis Calibration. It will have you shoot at 50 yards or beyond, then you can electronically adjust your pin stack left or right accordingly. I hope this helps.
