Been buying units to get items for personal use as well. I've outfitted my garage with shelving and quadrupled my tools mostly from storage units. Flip the other items and you're getting paid for taking equipment you can use. Making a profit aside, I've saved quite a bit of money acquiring things from unit auctions.

I feel you on needing a folding table, I tried for months to score a unit that had a fold up table in it because I'm too cheap to go spend $40 for a new one. I finally found one at a rummage sale two weeks ago for $5, it's missing one of the little clips on the leg (it's adjustable height) but I just have to shove a screw in that hole to hold it at the height I want. Later that week I won a storage unit and there was a folding table hiding in the unit! So now I have two and they both fold in half for easy storage when not in use.
After finding that snake bedding I would have been cautious opening that ice chest too. lol

I love the storage locker video's, you really need to check all the pockets on the cloths and other items. You never know where you'll find cash, look in the wallets also. Great video. Keep living the dream. God Bless!

Don't know about storage units, but when cleaning out my husband's garage after he died we found out we needed to look in ALL boxes, tubs/ bins & 5 gallon buckets. He'd put small tools, random things in 5 gallon buckets, we found coins, silver dollars & old pocket knives in bottom of the buckets & boxes. Also in his tackle box, found old things.

At the 4:30 mark: I think the clear curved plastic piece (the protractor looking thing) goes on the top of the world globe in the back of the locker. Globes are hot right now, $35 and up.

The storage is worth $ 500...at least. I recognizet a tile cutter and a tree planter....just that would make $ 50 . It's a good deposit. Success in capitalizing on it !

Wow, you got another Awesome Storage Locker, with tons of Flea market items to sell! That way you can sell Womens, Childrens items with the things you sell for Men! You should mix the Vintage with Newer dated items on your Flea Markets, to get a mixed crowd to come in!!!

Yep. Not really good for anything else either, except recycling. Though it might be a good way to carry paint cans or something in your truck so they won't roll around.
You normally are issued with two, for holding cannisters for collecting urine over the space of a week for the urine DR to examine for alkaline, and various particulates and PH etc from a dietary aspect. :)

That curved clear plastic thing you put in the flea market box goes with the globe. It’s to measure distance on the globe. We had one on the globe we had when I was a kid in the 70s.

$ 50.00 All those tools and yard tools, That was a great haul.Some of the ones on TV look worse. People love tools,Globes Sports equipment fishing stuff..table, Trombone. A great piece of luggage you did great.You should have looked inside of the biscuit boxes and such sometimes people hide money in them,but you certainly got your money back. I've been tempted to get one of these lockers myself, just looks like fun.

You should check all boxes. My uncle never liked banks and used to keep his money in suitcases and boxes. Cake and cookie boxes are great because people don't think to look in there for the money. Thank you for sharing.;)

Why do you think that after stiffing the storage company for $2600.00 that they would be so willing to send them back some personal paperwork? If it were me I would take it upon myself and just mail it to the address in the paperwork. With all the profits you make off the room what’s $3.00 postage?

That's so right about him not throwing and breaking stuff in this video. Taco must have read our replies on that storage unit he did weeks ago. The filming was much better in this video than that one too. The funny thing is this unit didn't have much breakables and he could of tossed stuff around. Am a Taco fan, but I had to give that other video a thumbs down : ( this video is 2 thumbs up : )
