The pill bottle was plugs, tapirs or other names for ear gauges and stretchers. Alternative people (goth. Punk etc) wear them in their earlobes :) I know because I am wearing them lol.
I’m getting mad on your behalf. It really looks like a person from the storage facility went in and took the most valuable stuff from this unit. It doesn’t have to be the storage company owners. It could be one of the employees especially on the graveyard shift.
I do wonder why however they didn’t require *anything* like a rule and/or deposit to make sure the company wasn’t ripped off. My first thought was “Of course not. They already took the most valuable stuff.” If they didn’t leave at least some worthwhile stuff, no one would come back and the word would go out. I’m betting there were no cameras either so no way to check for any bin thefts.
Another suspicion is that barely visible photo of motorcycle parts which don’t look to be very valuable. I mean come on! Why take awful photos in the first place. In the second place at least take poor photos of potential value.
I agree with another poster. I’d never go back.
It really looks like someone went through it. People don’t leave empty boxes and half full tubs.

That Energizer flashlight/radio is really handy to keep! It doesn't need batteries because it has a thing you turn for the power.
Let’s hope it was the owner who went through stuff before defaulting on the unit. Otherwise the Managment maybe dishonest . That would be criminal .

The empty boxes and cut zipties could simply mean the owners came back to get some things occasionally.

Go through paper work just incase. A customer of mine found an envelope of foreign cash filed in paper work once. She nearly tossed it! Lucky she checked!
Those arrows are VERY expensive. My husband was a bow hunter!

Someone has gone thru the unit cause the owner would have never left the custom arrows. I would never bid on another unit at this location under those shady circumstances. You got very lucky dude. It makes sense why the clothes are neatly folded, the owner was a military person.

Need to go through all the paper before tossing, flip through pages of every book, turn out pockets - especially old coats. A guy in our area turned the pockets of an old coat - found $20,000.00. He went to great lengths to find the owner ( had dementia) ended up giving the money to the family and accepted a reward for his honesty.

Maybe the owner came back and retrieved some of the good items before he abandoned the unit. Because if the storage company employees went through the unit and removed items before putting it up for sale, that wouldn't be right and probably wouldn't be legal either. Definitely some red flags with this unit, but it still looks like you will make a decent profit on it. Thanks for sharing!
The storage people can go through it if they want because it belongs to them until they sell it.
Once it's up for auction and it's so old I know they should not be in it

That's an emergency flashlight. It has a pullout crank on the side to charge the battery.
I have something similar, and you are right. Crank it 100 times and get a couple of hours worth of use.
It appears as if this locker had been gone through and the valuables taken. Where is the vacuum to go with the attachments and the air compressor to go with the parts. I'm sorry this happens as I always want you to win. You'll get your money back in the spring with shorts and t shirts. Much Love
Hey Taco! That’s a neat little unit. The flashlight/radio that doesn’t work is actually for emergencies and it’s hand crank.
The flashlight radio thing IS NOT a belt clip...pull that “clip” and it becomes a handle that you turn to wind up the “power” for the light and radio. It’s an emergency tool.
Several storage buyers I watch have been having trouble with units that have been picked thru.....hope you make a profit

Howdy Taco and the always lovely Salsa. Like the other comments this unit smacks of theft by the storage owner. Also that bag of jewelry made me think of someone robbed somebody's house. Also where's the bow for the arrows. They left just enuff items to make it interesting. You take your chances buying sight unseen. 🤔👍🙏

Some management of these buildings are honest others are very much dishonest. My mother had one in the early 90's. Stored in it was All my baby sisters things from being newborn. Her handmade basinett with hand sewn canopy all kinds of nice things. Her bed when newborn looked like an 👼"s bed. It was beautiful. The lock wasn't cut it was opened then shut back with key. So that only leaves the management as recommended you keep one key they keep other in office. Sad to think they might have went into things after you purchased. I would have screenshot with my phone. As soon as door opened compared where and how things are and were sitting. Also noticed wether or not the zip tied were in tact in photo. I think you will make your money back just in motorcycle parts. If that mirror was for a Harley I'm guessing not cheap. Good Luck. I got to the end had to edit. Lol. That ring I saw lil green tarnish on it. That's normally silver. The 925 could been cut out because of sizing. I have few older rings I had cut down to fit me(how no this) check it all out. Some hand made jewelry isn't stamped either. Just wanted to drop that hint.
You get that feeling like a vulture arriving late to the carcass? Someone definitely went through that unit before the auction. You're probably going to @ least double your money back.

Taco, you don't need a permit to park there. And the yellow curbing is NOT a no parking area. The owners of Kramer's did that themselves in case there was ever a fire. You can park there and not get a ticket. (I use to have a sewing studio in the building and had a storage unit.)

Multi function vest, fishing gear and the "arrows" are a mega score. Hope they came with the different grade tips, razors, but too cool. No cross bow but you'll definitely make way more than you paid. Sweet buy.

You do not want a cricket coming home with you. If they get into your bedroom they will keep you up all night. Happened to me. Took forever to find it.
Plus, on that cricket, they will eat holes in your clothing, had them in an apartment in Texas, in the bed room!
That was a Cicada not a cricket. Crickets chirp once in a while. Cicadas chirp constantly until you want to scream.
I would so buy the blades the double defender sword that is right up my alley as a collector

I believe the lumbar support wrap is what motorcyclists wear to protect them in case of an accident.
The black handle on the back of the flashlight is actually used to power the flashlight so it doesn't need batteries. You pull it out and spin it to create friction that charges the flashlight. So as long as the bulbs don't burn out and your arm doesn't get too tired the flashlight should stay charged indefinitely!
This was fun, even if the unit did look picked over. The thief saw tshirts or shorts on the totes & missed the good stuff inside. But he apparently got the fishing rods & the bow. The knives were the best find.
Taco that sword & knife is worth at least $35-$50 Those Arrows might be worth $350 or more!! Plus other odds and ends you got!!! Taco You Did Good!!!
The best storage unit auctions are if you are there in person!!..You have a better chance of getting some good stuff..Lol Taco..

Im pretty sure the storage people who work there go threw some stuff and get for themselfes the good stuff and just let the semi good things in some units then sell the unit to someone else, correct me if im wrong lol
i knew someone who worked for a storage place and they would go through and take items before posting the units for sale.

Hey Taco, that flash light is a wind up one....no.... I’m not winding you up 😉.... the black arm on the back of the torch comes out and clicks into place, and so you just charge it up by winding it up! So you get a little exercise charging your torch up. 😋

Did enjoy it but I've seen a few videos lately where cause of lock down the storage places have been thought the unit before putting it up for sale. With the arrows go to a gun shop or where they sell hunting stuff they may buy them or give you a price on what they are worth

I'd say this was overall a good one!! The spare motorcycle parts, if Harley, like the hat will more than pay for the $60 you paid for the unit!! And at 12:45 the black quilted custom fit looks like a liner for a motorcycle jacket!

Most all of them are using RUclips to promote their selling site.
If you have a bad experience with it, just think about it and make some rules for yourself to follow to avoid conflict.
You get some unusual stuff that subscribers would like to buy if only you’d share.
I have always wondered about this well. I don't live in the US otherwise there's loads of items I would like to have the option to buy. Why not use RUclips to promote your shop? I'm sure you have your reasons, just curious 😊

I'm sure people will still buy shorts. I live in the south and we wear shorts year round! Or save em for next summer season! I had the facility steal my stuff and I didn't find out until long after I had moved the stuff out and unpacked so you KNOW the zip tie sitch was them. Reason I wouldn't buy an auctioned storage locker but I don't mind watching YOU 🤣😂😅💕
Flashlight/radio item has a crank you pull out & crank it up to charge it. Things like the arrows, do you looks for the makers website to see if current item or has pricing? It did look like a decent buy for $60. Looked like you should do well. 👍👍

Avoid this storage facility in future taco, smells fishy to me!
Wouldn't necessarily avoid the facility, but would always bid low expecting the worst. Even crooks don't always know the value of everything.
Or record the auction / online photos so they can be challenged like Grimes Finds and What the Hales do.

Flashlight/Emergency radio that you crank to charge. Great to have. Some can be usb charged, too.
