Need to go through all the paper before tossing, flip through pages of every book, turn out pockets - especially old coats. A guy in our area turned the pockets of an old coat - found $20,000.00. He went to great lengths to find the owner ( had dementia) ended up giving the money to the family and accepted a reward for his honesty.

The pill bottle was plugs, tapirs or other names for ear gauges and stretchers. Alternative people (goth. Punk etc) wear them in their earlobes :) I know because I am wearing them lol.

Multi function vest, fishing gear and the "arrows" are a mega score. Hope they came with the different grade tips, razors, but too cool. No cross bow but you'll definitely make way more than you paid. Sweet buy.

This was fun, even if the unit did look picked over. The thief saw tshirts or shorts on the totes & missed the good stuff inside. But he apparently got the fishing rods & the bow. The knives were the best find.
The black handle on the back of the flashlight is actually used to power the flashlight so it doesn't need batteries. You pull it out and spin it to create friction that charges the flashlight. So as long as the bulbs don't burn out and your arm doesn't get too tired the flashlight should stay charged indefinitely!
Looks suspicious to me...why would a neat and organized person leave empty boxes scattered about? At least you made some great finds!! Love all of your videos, Taco!!

I love your storage unit cleanout videos! The first Taco Stacks video I ever watched was a $5 storage unit cleanout, and that’s what got me subscribing to the channel. I love the anticipation of wondering what you’ll find amongst the cobwebs. Keep ’em coming! It looks like the previous owner went through a serious midlife crisis. 😁 And yeah, if you find empty boxes in a storage unit, it’s a good bet someone went through and took some valuable stuff.
Taco I agree with all the others who’ve posted. You’re the only RUclips channel owner that will not disclose their eBay store. Most all of them are using RUclips to promote their selling site. If you have a bad experience with it, just think about it and make some rules for yourself to follow to avoid conflict. You get some unusual stuff that subscribers would like to buy if only you’d share.
I have always wondered about this well. I don't live in the US otherwise there's loads of items I would like to have the option to buy. Why not use RUclips to promote your shop? I'm sure you have your reasons, just curious 😊
Some management of these buildings are honest others are very much dishonest. My mother had one in the early 90's. Stored in it was All my baby sisters things from being newborn. Her handmade basinett with hand sewn canopy all kinds of nice things. Her bed when newborn looked like an 👼"s bed. It was beautiful. The lock wasn't cut it was opened then shut back with key. So that only leaves the management as recommended you keep one key they keep other in office. Sad to think they might have went into things after you purchased. I would have screenshot with my phone. As soon as door opened compared where and how things are and were sitting. Also noticed wether or not the zip tied were in tact in photo. I think you will make your money back just in motorcycle parts. If that mirror was for a Harley I'm guessing not cheap. Good Luck. I got to the end had to edit. Lol. That ring I saw lil green tarnish on it. That's normally silver. The 925 could been cut out because of sizing. I have few older rings I had cut down to fit me(how no this) check it all out. Some hand made jewelry isn't stamped either. Just wanted to drop that hint.
I’m getting mad on your behalf. It really looks like a person from the storage facility went in and took the most valuable stuff from this unit. It doesn’t have to be the storage company owners. It could be one of the employees especially on the graveyard shift. I do wonder why however they didn’t require *anything* like a rule and/or deposit to make sure the company wasn’t ripped off. My first thought was “Of course not. They already took the most valuable stuff.” If they didn’t leave at least some worthwhile stuff, no one would come back and the word would go out. I’m betting there were no cameras either so no way to check for any bin thefts. Another suspicion is that barely visible photo of motorcycle parts which don’t look to be very valuable. I mean come on! Why take awful photos in the first place. In the second place at least take poor photos of potential value. I agree with another poster. I’d never go back.
Go through paper work just incase. A customer of mine found an envelope of foreign cash filed in paper work once. She nearly tossed it! Lucky she checked!

Someone has gone thru the unit cause the owner would have never left the custom arrows. I would never bid on another unit at this location under those shady circumstances. You got very lucky dude. It makes sense why the clothes are neatly folded, the owner was a military person.

The asics running shoes sell well for me. When I had my army navy store those bags did well. No less than 50 to 65 to 95 bucks depending on shape. I have also done very well with clothes and jewelry just not when I had my auction house. More of a market or online thing. Nothing that's going to fly there but all pieces out still money so not bad. Hoping the arrows, camo pack and weights are the bigger money. There is some slower profit after that. It's all gravy. Totes are always a plus too. Thankfully not full of paper crap lol
The camo backpack is a little pricey new-they are great for 72 hour kits. Probably popular now-a-days with folks wanting to be prepared. They are nice backpacks.

Taco, you don't need a permit to park there. And the yellow curbing is NOT a no parking area. The owners of Kramer's did that themselves in case there was ever a fire. You can park there and not get a ticket. (I use to have a sewing studio in the building and had a storage unit.)

The fishing lures are worth way more than 10 bucks a box, more like 10 bucks each lure if you do a little research and sort out the good ones, some lures are worth lots more and sell great on ebay
i almost decided to buy that unit. i thought those lights in the box were chrome lugnut covers for a tractor trailer. those arrows should be worth a decent amount and the weight equipment.
The pill bottle is full of earrings, those big ones, I think they are called gauges. ( I'm older but my daughter used to wear them, thankfully not the really big ones lol)

The blue could have been a water safety float or for swimmers to practice via swim teams. I couldn’t see it that well. Might be a bird that got into The storage building. The flashlight radio thing IS NOT a belt clip...pull that “clip” and it becomes a handle that you turn to wind up the “power” for the light and radio. It’s an emergency tool.
It appears as if this locker had been gone through and the valuables taken. Where is the vacuum to go with the attachments and the air compressor to go with the parts. I'm sorry this happens as I always want you to win. You'll get your money back in the spring with shorts and t shirts. Much Love
