Can you talk about something of you feeling? You are so talented! The traditional violin technique are not enough for you I can't image what kind of piece you play after ten years :)
Microtonality is difficult for western ears to understand, because our instruments and scales only have 12 notes. Oriental music uses 22 notes, with many micro tones that the West is not used to, it is actually a limitation.

What are the C clips for? Can't imagine you'd be accidentally hitting the violin with your bow very often... :-)
