Wow, my grandfather also told my mother that I was pregnant weeks before I knew. He too was on his final days . He didn't have to ask which of the 3 granddaughters were pregnant, he knew. Maybe because I was the only one that wasn't there. ( Just a guess) I was baffled that he was able to predict this because we were never close. ( He didn't like the color of my skin) .. I only mentioned these things because I always thought that the presence of a bond is how these things were revealed. Anyway, he was dying from cancer. He was being cared for by his wife & children at home with the help of hospice. While he and my mom were alone he told her that I was pregnant. I don't think he gave any other information but my mom thought that he was just delusional because of the fact that he refused to have any type of relationship with me plus I was only 16 yrs old at the time. Because of this she didn't mention it. At least not until I came to her 3 weeks after his passing with my home pregnancy test. Apparently he told her a week before he died. Which made me around 2 weeks into my pregnancy when he told her. I was 6 weeks along when I found out.
