I don’t understand how it seems like nobody at my mountain deal with goggle fog except me. Everyone is taking lap after lap and my goggles fog up just by leaning over to strap in my bindings. Is nobody out there sweating at all? You’d think doing a physical activity like this everyone would be sweating. But not everyone is dealing with fog
My suggestion after 20+ years of snowboarding is the less you fuck with your goggles, the less chance for foggage. Once they're on your head/helmet, don't take them off on the lift, don't be flipping them up constantly etc. I have a pair that just never fog and are over 10 years old, but they suck in low light. Some goggles just suck and or there is some separation between the two lenses and need to be....huckhaused. AND WE HAVE CAME FULL CIRCLE.
Great video! One thing that made mine freeze up was them being too loose and also having a spot of my face wrap that was inside my goggles and outside on my forehead, so there was a gap under the foam (from too loose and the face cover coming out of the goggles, if that makes any sense), after tightening them up to allow less air to get in around the foam they stopped fogging up. BUT I did not know about the spitting technique or that I'm FOR SURE wiped every part of anti fog off the inside from not knowing how to clean it properly haha.
I literally bought the m4 clear lenses the day prior and they fogged up immediately the following powder day in white out conditions. Just got smith 4d and their helmet to try this season.
@@keithskoglund10 Let me know how those work for you. I have a pair of M4 and M4S. I just want something that works well in gloomy and white out conditions as those are my favorite conditions.
How would someone go about trying snowboards before buying them? I am asking this question kinda late since I actually just bought four snowboards (three for me, one for my wife), but I feel like that would be good knowledge for the future.
@@Kyleforthe3SIKE Well I have the Capita DOA and the Burton Flight Attendant, but I bought the Signal Sierra, Signal Tailgunner, and Salomon Pulse. I doubt I'll return any unless I absolutely hate them, but they should all serve different purposes except the Signal boards (powder twin vs powder directional). I was just curious in the future how would I go about testing a board before I bought it, and @Lask answered that. Some shops have demo boards.
Check with your local board shop. My shop has a demo program. It’s like $40-60 to take a demo board for a day, and if you end up buying the board they apply the $40 to the price of the board. If you’re patient, wait for a demo day at your local mountain and you won’t have to pay to try the boards (assuming you have a shop that holds demo days near you)
30 years on the mountain and never had goggles fog, once. Dirt bike goggles a few times but only when I'm a dumb ass and put them on the mouth part of my helmet and breath into them. Freediving and scuba, whole other story. If you do manage to fog your snow goggles by user error (the only way), just go to the bathroom and dry them out under the hand dryer, duh.

same here
Dude I have the same freaking problem and I hate it. No idea what to do, maybe antiperspirant on the face? Or wear a sweat band on the forehead?
@@jesseandpiper dude same. Had the sickest powder day ruined by foggy goggles.. WHATS THE SOLUTION?!?
@@jonathancabrera897 astronaut helmet I think.
Same. I might try out normal snowboard shades on less cold days so everything can air out

Also, do not lift your goggles on to your helmet, always slide your helmet and goggles up together, keeping your goggles in contact with your face.
Yes 🙌🏼
Watching this through my fogged up goggles
🤣😂
Botox on the forehead helps by totally eliminating your ability to sweat. Just puting it out there 😅
I thought you were going to recommend spit like scuba divers do on their goggles. Lol
Any particular anti fog spray to use if I’ve made the mistake of wiping fogging goggles n possibly removing the anti fog coating?
I don’t personally have one
a good bit of speed always helps, get some air going through the goggles
💯
Is there a reason you wear your goggles underneath your helmet and not on?

use a&r hockey spit, one spray on each side and wipe off
Thanks bro! Nothing like having a pair of $150 cloudy night m4s lenses to have them fog the first white out day you have with them fml
Man that’s such a bummer!

What helmet do you have?
one of the stores at the mountains i went to, told me that anti frog spray doesn’t exist 🤡

shops can do rentals/demos.

This video was zero help. All common sense
They why did you watch it if you knew everything already?
Bar of soap and buff dry. No fog isn’t the best. Hot face cold weather = fog. They need small fan system to constantly blow air around.
How was tip number one buy my sponsor goggles but tip number two wasn't Carry a spare set of goggles (just to add to the shilling)?
Dang you are right!
Ever since I put on the evolution sticker, I have not had problems with goggle fog!
Okay muppet
This is just an advertisement with zero actual advice
What 😂
Any antifog spray you suggest when these tips don't work.
try some "cat crap anti fog"
i needed this night skiing in Keystone two years ago lol
Right! 😂
Your pro goggles are sold out. Are you restocking them or should I get the regular ones?
We are going to try! We ran into manufacturing issues
@@JohnathanBuckhouse any rough ETA? I would like to order two.
Will you review the Burton Fish 3D
