    If you scroll down after clicking compress (where you see the radio buttons to select archive type) you can actually set the name of the archive to compress the contents to.

    good video but i have a question how will i know what database is associated to my website? you said select the 'right' database and then export it .. here i am confused how to find the right associated database name of the site before exporting it. Please answer

      Before exporting, You can check the config.php file of your website and verify the database name that is attached to your website..

    Thank you for your video. I just done a complete backup of my database and content. I have a question please. My content file is just over 1 gig. I have downloaded it to my computer. What do I do with the file that is left inside the cPanel. Do I delete it, or reuse it and update the date as I use it.

      If you downloaded on local computer and tested all files are good.. So you can delete from cpanel

      Bro Experts I did not test the file. I am a complete novice learning. I would not know how to test the file other than back it up to the website & see.

      Just install xamp server and WordPress on your local machine then restore the backup (content + database) you downloaded..

      If you are using any backup service provided by your hosting, then it is possible to restore the older version.

      You can simply extract zip files on your local webserver if you want to run local version of your website..
