Wow! I never thought it possible to do such a beautiful skull pattern inside a shall. I lived for years in Mexico as a student. Fell in love with the people and their celebrations with skulls. Miss them. Thanks for the memories. Love it.

I would love to see your knitting on here also. I forget to watch those for some reason. It might be easier for those of us who also knit if you were to combine them as well. I believe you could inspire some to learn how to knit as well as crochet. You are such a lovely person and I love your videos.

Love it. U r so awsome. I crochet and after becoming disabled (i just turned 40) i had to start selling my work. My inspiration has been lost lately. I'm doing my son's homeschooling and I've been so lost on my creativity. I love your videos and thank you for some inspiration. I also love the calming music and your voice because the conditions i have cause episodes of severe chest pain that i have to take meds and wait it out. Your calm voice and music help. Thank u

Another awesome skull pattern. Love that the skulls all face forward. I’ll be making this one to show my veterinary students. They like anything with skulls or bones. Combining your channels is a great idea. Makes it easier for us to track your knitting patterns. Thanks for all your inspirational videos.

Hey Annoo, I think there is a mistake. it's just chain 75 in total for the first row right? not 75 plus 3 chains? Or else you get too many.

Hi Panda. I posted about the chain being incorrect. However, the rest of the pattern has worked out great for me. Have you started it yet? I could not afford the lovely wool that Annoo has used, I substituted it with Caron So Soft (no sparkles and fairly cheap... BUT. v. soft). It may be because I used this wool, but the lovely border looked v. "stiff" on my shawl... so I have undone and just stuck with single crochet for 6 rows. I would love to hear how you are getting on x
@@madamc3458 im using big twist metallic in black, unfortunately the metallic thread is a little busy for the pattern so the skulls dont stand out as much as they do on Annoo's. the yarn she is using is beautiful but out of my budget. If I wanted to use Ice Yarns for it there are some yarns on Ice Yarns that look just like the yarn she is using here, though I guess still not as luxurious, not sure. I actually made some mistakes on the third skull and gave up! somehow I had 1 or 2 less granny square spaces for a couple rows during the third skull than she had. did you have any problems like that? did you use the written pattern or the video?
@@Goldenretriever-k8m Hi there. I think what you "may" have done is to not started or ended a row correctly? I made sure I always checked I was finishing the same as I started. Once you get started, it is good. I used the video (because the written pattern hadn't come out when I started)_ and I am a visual learner. However.... I did make a note whilst Annoo was speaking for my own scrappy notes. I used these after I had made 2 rows of skull motiffs. Row 6 always made me concentrate! Once your shawl gets bigger, it is much easier to follow the pattern by seeing what you have done before and where the single crochets should sit on the top of the skull head? Persevere! It is a truly lovely pattern and I bet the skulls will stand out when it is finished x BTW, I used to love Ice Yarns (as you say, probably not as soft) - but the postage has gone v. v. high these days! Need to get some black twinkly sheep in my back garden and make my own yarn :-)

I love, love, LOVE your skull patterns! I am making your skull sweater at the moment so this scarf will complement it perfectly. I even have silver grey going to dark turquoise colour yarn with metallic streak that is nice and fluffy - and now I know what to make! ;)
I think it's a great idea to merge both your channels, I view knitting and crochet as twin-sister hobbies so it would be cool to have all vids together. :)

lovely shawl and gorgeous yarn. i'll have to try making this sometime. the yarn is quite expensive though, so i'll add a few more substitute suggestions here.
Yarn Bee Soft Secret (not metallic, just very shiny and has an amazing drape)
Soho Noel (blind suggestion based off of reviews and Bag-O-Day unboxing. chain spun and has both silver and gold thread)
I Love This Yarn! Metallics (the metallic thread can be a bit rough depending on the stitch, it's not for everyone)
I Love This Chunky Yarn! Metallics (surprisingly softer and more subtle than the regular stuff, despite being the same brand)
I was just thinking that I could not afford the yarn needed and was wondering about Yarn Bee. I love Hobby Lobby yarn and use it a lot so maybe it will work after all.
Hi - I love the yarn... but it is too expensive for me too. (Tough times re: Corona). I am going to use Caron Simply Soft. Again, not metallic, but it is so soft - hope it works!. By the way, I live in UK... so this is a UK yarn sub! :-) x
