  • This video give a fairly decent understanding what Husqvarna chainsaw 545 is capable of. The cutting performance of a chainsaw depends not only on the engine power, but also on the condition of the cutting unit. A sharp, properly maintained chainsaw does big things.

    I can hear the hesitation off idle.Mine started to do that aswell and i couldn't even use the saw because it annoyed me so much. Luckily i had warranty so they replaced the carburetor and software and it's been fine ever since. So yeah if you still have warranty let em fix it for you.

      No need to change. The Carburetor has a air bleed screw that can be adjusted hidden behind a plug. It needs to be turned to let more air in at idle which will allow the computer to richen the idle mixture.

      How does "letting more air in", allow me computer to enrich the system. It's either rich or lean. You obviously can't add more air to fatten the mixture.

      A 18 inch bar it's ok for 545

      @claudiue30 50cc saws usually balances best with a 15"/16" bar, but a light 18" bar isn't bad at all. The length has some impact on performance as well.

    Looking at the cut on the stump and where the tree landed, got kinda hairy A.

    just bought 1.
    has a 20" bar.
    will it cut faster with 18"?
    You are good with that saw. what is Your favorite chain?

    • @AutoTuneTM
      @AutoTuneTM  2 года назад +3

      A chainsaw with an 18" bar will be faster compared to a 20". This will apply to any saw, as the length of the bar and chain will definitely affect the amount of power transferred and also the amount of resistance created. Accordingly, the saw will certainly be easier when working with a shorter rail.
      How much faster it will be to saw with a shorter bar, measured in units of time, is difficult to say.

      50.1cc enough power to compete any task. Effective cutting is not only dependent on engine power. The sharp chain makes up a large part of the chainsaws efficiency, and so do your results.
