Ikr? He's going far with better coach
Wrestling needs improvement too you can tell he began training grappling in jiu jitsu his takedowns are weak and he doesn’t have the position awareness wrestlers have
@@henrywarren5634 it's not that his technique is bad it's that he's rather weak
Or puberty
Need ground and pound and terrible striking technique plus no wrestlig only bjj
If only the hawaiian dude had good cardio, he could've finished the fight at end of R1 or early R2. But he didn't have it so yeah
the kid put on a pace that he could control
He was way to stubborn and spent all his gas in the beginning trying to knock him out. SMH
Yeah he was getting cocky when he knocked him down, should’ve finished with ground and pound
If only he would have won, he wouldn't have lost...
Keep Right
Errr I was talking about cardio but if u say so man lol
U have to give this dude some credit esspecially after surviving that first round
“You’re throwing WAY to many kicks, he sees you coming”. Come out the gate tryna kick his chin off.

McGregor has the best cardio in the game. Nobody else can run their mouth that much without getting exhausted.

Why did they keep calling him Hooper? This is clearly SCOTT STERLING!! Just look at those face blocks!!
Robert Banks 😂😂😂
YES😂😂😂
I thought I recognized that incredible techniques.
I understood that reference!
This honestly was the best ufc fight I have ever watched
Hooper is like a freaking snake on the ground he just slips all over the place. That was some high level ground game for an 18 year old. Wait till he he is 20. He will be scary.
Also all you geniuses below saying he did bad because he got hit in the first round aren't paying attention to his BJJ at all. Also he showed a pretty good chin considering those shots and how he kept going
He outgrappled a gassed fighter there wasn’t much high level about it
He couldn't finish an opponent with just about zero gas in the tank and had two rounds to do it. He has a lot to work on but he definitely has a bright future.
Is BJJ the art of blocking punches with your face?
The only reason he didn't finish the guy is because he wanted that submission so badly. He could have ended the fight 3 or 4 times, but he wanted that submission
@@ryanm7097 high level bjj not ground and pound. Two different things

The kid needs MAJOR help in the striking but then again he’s 18 so it’s not like he can’t improve
It doesn't matter what age you are. There's always a way to improve. We're not dogs lol. Just need a good/smart coach, doesn't matter if you're in your 20s or 40s.
Matthew Reid An 18 year old has more potential and time to improve to continue competing at an elite level compared to a 40yo
I think hes ready for Jose Aldo or Max Holloway
He needs ALOT of help. Shouldn't anywhere near where he is now. His management and the UFC gunna do this kid a big disservice when he fights someone legit and gets clowned
All in due time
Hoopers record is actually quite good. (8-0-1)
That guy hooper has heart man, he didn’t get intimidated, he let the other guy gas himself out, and then just dominated the rest of the fight!
Lots of hate for the kid.... Jesus. Relax people, anyone who gets in there and just tries should get some respect.
aaron maxim And someone have to at least punch as hard as throwing a tv at someone. It has too hurt.
Its not really hate if its the truth...
the guy has big balls and a big bulge
TotalX48 He clearly has to work on things but jyst getting in there and having heart has nothing to do with his skill set. The other guy couldn't finish him.... no ones commented on that?

White kid is like a off-brand Sean O'Malley
Nautilus why are ppl comparing him to Suga i guess just cuz hes white and has similar hair??? even then o'malley has braids hooper's standup is garbage compared to sean
He's built exactly like O'Malley except has none of the skill or excitement, I never said this guy was good.
White Chocolate Chase Hooper
That's actually why i watched the video. Thought it was him in the thumbnail
Biond john he said an off brand. You know like a cheap knockoff which usually isn't nearly as good as the actual product? Making any sense yet?
3:26 smart move to pull guard right there
this kid is still acting like he is in the training arena. its like a robot executing commands without being able to read the oponent. He can take a beating tho.
I think upon watching the whole fight, he was just taking the first round easy to gas his opponent out. He wasnt going to beat him standing up.
When you win your UFC fight, but get grounded for not cleaning your room
I’m pretty sure 18 is an adult🤔
Sagashi I’m pretty sure being 18 yo doesn’t mean your parents won’t have anymore power on you
White Nigga They don’t? 🤔 I mean I moved out at 17 and I have an Asian parent, which is hard af to do tbh. They didn’t have any power over me lol. Much less when I was 18. Do you mean being scared of them or just being under the same roof because no source of income?
The way Chase is punching during the ground and pound reminds me of the way I punch in dreams. Sick grappler though.
bruh where did this meme come from. I swear, I always say I have dreams like this to my friends and they look at my like I'm the only one, but I see a meme earlier today and apparently everyone and their dog feels like they're swinging underwater in their dreams. Crazy.
