2001 Kawasaki Bayou KLF300 Automatic Clutch Adjustment!

Bought this Kawasaki Bayou KLF300 a few weeks ago, so far, we got it running and managed to get a ride out of it. But, it can not be romped about unless the automatic clutch is adjusted properly. In this video we will identify the automatic clutch adjuster and tune it for maximum performance.

Ive been looking into this clutch adjustment for over a month now, and you seem to be the only one that actually knows how to adjust these things. Makes perfect sense to me and what I did yet the service manual and everyone else says to back it all the way out again.

You should go ahead and get some tire plugs and plug that tire so your not only relying on the slime. Hope you had a great Sunday. 👍👍

Hello Mr.Spooner, I would like to start with a THANK YOU for all the helpful tips and tricks you have put on youtube,Ihave a 1997 kawasaki bayou, and with some of the vids you provided, Ive got her going but she wont stay runnig. It starts right up,and I can give it gas for about 20secs. and it looses spark.And then if I leave it alone for a day it will have spark again,but for only about 20secs.Do you have any idea what that could be?

Now that I'm an apprentice tire guy, slime is my enemy. I understand it, have used it keeping air in junk tires until iI can pick up another rim and tire to replace it, but after watching a dude breaking a bead and getting covered with slime, not a fan. Violence followed. Just a heads up to all that think it's funny or think there will be no consequences. Once it starts, it's too late to say you're sorry.

You wouldn't happen to have a good set of rear tires and rims for a 96 timberwolf 250. 22 or 23 size lol
