My favorite things about this ending 1. It’s actually the least conclusive ending in the trilogy. Unlike the previous two true endings where Jason and Eve achieved all they had to achieve, in this one, the two already know what their next goals are before setting off, which I find quite beautiful as the ending of a saga. 2. Their children being named Roddy and Elfie is especially heartwarming in this trilogy since it’s in remembrance of the pilot and droid of the Andreia, the MA that saved Eve’s life 3. I love how the after credits scene shows that Jason and Eve are taking Kane’s advice of “always strive to be with your family” to heart. 4. Leibzig probably gets the best draw of all the characters in this ending since she actually gets a second chance to protect something she cares about, this time being Jason and Eve’s children. 5. Early on in the game, Jason reveals to Leibzig that he was born in a lab and has never had a proper family, which is why he puts so much in to protecting Eve and Fred, they’re the closest thing to family he has had, which makes him thanking Kane for allowing him to find an irreplaceable family all the more emotional. 6. Last but not least, the last shot is Jason blasting off to new lands just how he does in the first game. You cannot get more perfect then that.
Just one problem. If the mutants and MA’s sorta live peacefully, then what’s gonna be the next threat? And where would it be. It would be kinda nice to have both Leibniz and Jason have to fight it., where one half is in normal space, and the other half in super dimensional space.
(Side note) why hasn’t the forth one come out yet? Like how megaman zero 4 was out! I wanna see how this ends with everyone on earth, and mutants being completely defeated, eradicated
@@Shadow_lord9983 Jason did mention there was a new divergent line of mutants called "Lightning Beings" which somehow are outside Eve's control, at the 8:03 timestamp...So very likely if there is ever going to be a 4th BMZ game, they will become the next main threat. Zero 3's true ending makes me think that Blasting Again comes some time after Zero 3, as Jason says that if his kids wonders where he is, Leibniz will tell them that he's dead, and in Blasting Again, the main character Roddy says that his father died in the fight against the Plutonium Boss, which would be possible given how there's those Plutonium Boss clones in the Super-Dimensional areas. I had to wait a little before I could analyzed everything this game thrown at me, there is one general thought that came to me. In general this whole game was not about a journey, but to simply conclude what was already resolved in previous game and set up some stuff for a sequel. And looking how sequels was set in for Blaster Master Zero, I guess part four will start with yet another crisis. I hope Leibniz doesnt fail again. I want her to least get a win for once IMO lmao. I feel like shes been nothing more than a jobber the whole time. Losing to jason twice (understandable), kanna (she did say she lost in that planet) and kane (also understandable since hes the strongest character) Really do like your thoughts on this and makes me wonder about Eve from your statement. I hope they do least get a happy ending if the game is about their children. Inti sure loves to do depressing bittersweet endings since the Zero series .
Playing as kane vs a fully upgraded jason: cbt Playing as jason period: ez clap of a final boss. So pretty much unless you hate yourself, dont play as kane.
I think it's the reason they give you the option to play as kane is for a difficulty Spike and challeng where if u play Jason it easy mode and the Ai that play Kane has to think strategically
So I think I figured it out for people who aren’t getting the cracked screen and red dialogue text during the ending cutscene like I was. I went into an SF dungeon and pressed + to bring up the ship menu and then pressed - to talk to Leibniz over and over until there’s no more new dialogue, THEN go into the dimensional portal at the start of an SF dungeon and come back out of the portal and THEN talk to Leibniz again and he should ask you “if your feeling alright” because of wearing the VRV helmet so much. When he says this to you NOW go and fight the final boss again and this time the screen should crack and you’ll get the red text where you press L and R together, that’s what worked for me!
I dint think talking to her really matters but even in the ending it confirms the reason why jason was able to go into the rupture to super space was because his body got used to it. This changing him the be like eve. So you just gotta go through super space a bunch.

I have to agree with Kane and Lebniz here, Kane is right to call them irresponsible why create these childs and dont take responsability of them and just leave them to Lebniz, is like having children just because you want but the first thing you do is give them for adoption, so if they dont do everything in their power to get back to earth is pretty much like Lebniz says better tell them thier parents are death. Because i mean how would you think if some tell you that your parents gave birth to you knowing they could not be with you, just because they wanted to leave proof of their existance, doesnt fell like they love you but more that they are just using you.
To be fair, Jason and Eve were willing to give up in having children. It was Leibniz himself who encouraged them to do it AND to let him growing them up. @@grayfox4819 Leibniz said if they didn't come back he'd tell them Jason and Eve were dead. That would still mostly jive with the existing version of Blasting Again. My best excuse? It's meta thing. Not Meta Fight, but actual, cultural thing. Did you notice how many "feels good to be a parent" shows had been on air lately in Japan? And did you know the japanese birth rate is actually negative? Media affects perception. Showing a positive couple doing all they can to have babies is in the service to the japanese government. I'm not saying they were meddling with the story of a tiny company's game, but that opinion is present in japanese society. Other than that, all I can say is most of Jason and Eve's plan is based on a lot of maybies. They don't count on those maybies, but it's enough to kinda morally justify them. Which is hard, even for someone who wants kids despite the world being pretty bad with no real signs of improving...
Yeesh, what a way to end it, and the fact remains that the "Lightning Beings are still out there causing ruckus". And Jason and Eve set out to combat this threat. It's not going to be so simple, as I've learned enough to know there are crafty beings among the universe that won't stand down for anyone. I just get this feeling that even though Jason and Eve will protect them, there's so much only they can do even in their present state. We don't know what these beings are capable of. I guess we will find out someday in the future. Until then, keep fighting Jason and Eve, at least after the day comes that we'll meet again.

I wonder if people at Inti Creates feel overly depressed the last few years? It feels like they're trying to outperform R-Type Final in terms of depressive mood, but want to make sure that people won't feel suicidal after playing the game.
I hope Leibniz doesnt fail again. I want her to least get a win for once IMO lmao.
I feel like shes been nothing more than a jobber the whole time. Losing to jason twice (understandable), kanna (she did say she lost in that planet) and kane (also understandable since hes the strongest character)
Really do like your thoughts on this and makes me wonder about Eve from your statement. I hope they do least get a happy ending if the game is about their children. Inti sure loves to do depressing bittersweet endings since the Zero series .
Am I going to see a remake of blaster master blasting again after this where their children try to stop the lightning beings again
after that i read the worlds of power novel again
Playing as kane vs a fully upgraded jason: cbt
Playing as jason period: ez clap of a final boss.
So pretty much unless you hate yourself, dont play as kane.
I thought Jason was slightly more manageable than Leibniz, though I did stock up 3 life guards.
There's trophies tied to beating Sophia J1 and Metal Attacker respectively.
@@HarbingerYT Only True Blaster Master's and Metal Attacker's get all the trophies. I'm still stuck at Leibniz.. hehe
I think it's the reason they give you the option to play as kane is for a difficulty Spike and challeng where if u play Jason it easy mode and the Ai that play Kane has to think strategically
@@davidjellofox Would you like a stat. Or did you best him already
And then Alex shows up in his grapple-gun tank and says "Hey what'd I miss?"
Who?
@@HarbingerYT alex buffoni, a character in the novel, he is a classmate of jason and the 1st guy who rode sophia before jason seen the said tank and found him at the area 4 unconscious, so at the whole time he is with him with a same goal, finding his pet plutarch (his lobster)

@@davidjellofox something tells me he might become the next main antagonist for the Blaster master game.
So that means there will be blaster master zero 4 in the future
It may be a remake of sorts of Blasting Again for the PS1.
Holy fucking shit, the FEELS.
Lore of Blaster Master Zero 3 - Good Ending + Credits momentum 100
The thing I have to wonder: Eve is an Android...How the hell did she have kids?!
The mutant core that infecter her post bmz 1 and bmz2 altereds her cells. And during the final battle at bmz2 she was purified after they killed the mutant lord Drolvero. But the mutant cells in her body already changed her from synthetic to organic. Unfortunately she is also the new mutant lord. Unfortunately since the mutants took her to SDS and had spent alot of time there she ascended even further to the point she will mo longer have a physical body. But a being of pure thought. The same will also happen to jadon since he also spent too much time in that space
I think there will be a fourth part with the plutonium boss I think this jason is the blaster master Jason's grandfather
I can't be the only one who gave up and just searched this up. I love a challenge, but hot damn was this too much. Still an amazing series though.
Any boss in the game can be done with enough tries, you'll get the pattern down eventually. If you beat the rest of the series you should be able to do this.
Yeah, Eir and Garuda are beyond brutal. Garuda, especially. But once the, ahem, Metafight began to commence, I knew then why Leibniz was so hellbent on destroying, well, Kane.
Good thing this boss fight essentially has an easy mode
@@Chaos89P The fights were very well crafted though. Except Eir’s giant flowers and exploding fruit and it isn’t clear you’re supposed to finish of Garuda with the ground breaker.
@@ota8487 I used the lightning attack out of reflex.
So, Roddy and Elfie really are the son and daughter of Jason and Eve?
Possibly named after the late Elfie and Roddy from BMZ2. Although they are so in the original continuity. And they made it so in this continuity.
@@leon4000 So is this connected all along? Dammit, now we need another Blaster Master game that has Roddy and Elfie as the protagonists this time. Jason’s story is over.
I just hope that, if they're actually gonna do a new series with Roddy and Elfie as protagonists, they don't make Jason and Eve dying off-screen like in the original continuity...
@@grayfox4819 I hope so also.
@@SolCresta3405 They will. Inti left all the plot hooks for a sequel to Zero.
Kane vs Jason is a very challenging battle if you don't get the Accel Blast Finisher, did you find it? i read that is in a hidden path in Area X but still not able to find it
I did find it! I forgot how you would get there, but I think it’s in the room where you would fight Cereboss in BMZ1. However it never occurred to me to use it during the Jason fight.
Yeah i beat Kane without It but the finisher Is more Epic ahahah
Cerberboss is in BMZ2! Red room with spikes on rocks... Damn, i Will wait for a guide. 😭
Is it possible to get other endings without starting whole new playthrough?
You can’t get the bad ending after you trigger the events for the good ending
@@yurinachannel4326 Ok then, can I at least choose whether I want to clear final fight as Jason or Kane after getting true ending with one?
Yes
Isnt this still technically a bad ending? In both endings, massive sacrifices had to be made and peace ultimately came through in both endings. I still consider both bad endings. One just happens to be slightly sweeter, while the other one feels more grounded and real.
Nah. Jason basically gave his humanity up to be with the one he loves. Its bittersweet but I feel its more sweet than bitter. I also like Kane telling Jason to not give up finding a way with being with his family.
Eve got a lot more cultured as the series continued.
BMZ1 was a lot less anime because it had a lot of oversight from the company that made the original.
They let Inti do whatever they wanted starting with BMZ2 and we immediately got boobas and Kanna’s watermelons.
When I got to the "THANKS FOR PLAYING," I got stuck on a black screen. Did this happen to you as well?
It may be a platform specific issue or a rare bug; I was returned to the title screen after the ending.

@@Rivalseeker I think you have to go into the alternate dimension enough times where leibniz starts saying like “dude are you ok”, I have no idea how many times tho
@Yri
I've heard from others that might be a condition as well. I usually check all rooms I'm able to in MetroidVania/action-adventure games for hidden items, so I may have triggered the condition without realizing it.
Let's just hope that eventually, when they grow up and they decide to find them and find a way to bring back home... they don't find out that they died in off-screen like in the original continuity...
@@grayfox4819 they had them knowing they will never meet their mom and dad that sound sad, they will have uncle Lebniz but still, i think it would be better if they where born as superdimentional life forms, and live with thier parent there as a family in term giving brith to a new type of superdimentional human race.
@@grayfox4819
We do see that both Jason and Eve are going to do everything they can to find a way back home to Earth, and thus return to their children to be a family. Right now, they have to stop the mutants who ignored Eve's will to have them stand down and stop attacking the normal space.
@@grayfox4819 Leibniz said if they didn't come back he'd tell them Jason and Eve were dead. That would still mostly jive with the existing version of Blasting Again. Hopefully going forward in the new continuity Leibniz will raise Roddy and Elfie who become Metal Fighters and Jason and Eve will return at a critical moment to help them clench a fight with whatever Lightning beings they're up against at the time. Ultimately ending with them being able to be a happy family. At this point anything OTHER that that being the ultimate ending would be a pretty big cop out by Inti.
How many of those are there?!
