Suggestion for an Immersion video: Fighting games allow two players to compete against one another in a 2D or 3D plane. With a still camera that follows the action, both players can anticipate what the other player will do But cmon... in a real fight, seeing the fight in 2D camera view wouldn't help you fight at all.... Or would it? Then they test a fight using VR headset just like RE immersion. One for Street Fighter (2D camera), one for a rotating camera in 3D (Tekken), and Smash (2D but pushing players off a stage)

It seems likely that the C4 wasn't actually primed with the timer, and they just cut to a shot where real C4 was used after everyone got clear if they made it before the time limit. They were also probably warned not to be holding the first C4 when it went off or it was detonated remotely just in case.
