- 5 weeks at Banchamek Village was my first ever experience with Muay Thai. What an adventure! Banchamek Team are friendly and positive people. Training hard but always with a smile. Meeting The Legend - Buakaw, after "knowing" him for nearly two decades, was seriously extraordinary. I was happy and excited like a little child seeing a real Santa Claus...

Such a legend I enjoyed watching all of his k1 fights and his training vids they gotta put him in a fighting game as a Muay Thai fighter
Well, Buakaw will be 42 this year. As we know, he is back to fighting but....he is really busy man. Apart of training and fighting he is involved in many things. For 3 weeks, while he was with us in a Gym, he travelled around Thailand on daily basis...meetings, charity etc...He is like a biggest celebrity in Thailand, people love him. Among us, he was just a normal guy, as you see on video...

Man i am in the same boat, watched and adored Buakaw for years, my gym mates met him about 10 years ago and i missed out on the trip over I returned to chang mai 18 months ago but didnt have time to visit the camp plus i think he was away on a military trip, i hope to see him one day!

It’s easy. Go to Banchamek Gym website, check the prices, choose your option and book it via email. But meeting the goat is not guaranteed . Buakaw is not always here but comes often.

Haha you can probably count it, but you will never get an exact number. I can ask him in November😉

What visa do we use to be there?
Travel Tourist, or visa for seeking job.
For 2 or 3 years training.
Depends where are you from i believe. Basically it’s 30days visa free which u can extend a bit if you apply. You can get one year muay thai visa, but the school you are going to train at has to apply for you. And you can buy Elite Visa for 5 yrs which is 900k in thai bahts. There is also “learning thai” visa. If you want to study language. Working visa exists but don’t know the rules.
