A convicted murderer who fought off London Bridge attacker Usman Khan with a narwhal tusk has revealed how he tried to stop the terrorist before he was shot dead by armed police. Steve Gallant, 46, was spending his first day outside prison in 14 years on November 29, 2019, when terrorist Usman Khan began attacking people at Fishmongers' Hall next to London Bridge. Khan, 28, stabbed to death Jack Merritt, 25, a rehabilitation worker whom Gallant had met in prison, and Saskia Jones, 23. Mr Gallant, who was serving a life sentence with a minimum term of 17 years for the murder of firefighter Barrie Jackson, leapt into action and alongside John Crilly and Darryn Frost, was seen challenging Khan on the bridge in footage that rapidly went viral online. Khan was wielding two 8in knives strapped to his hands with tape and was wearing a fake suicide vest. In an interview, Mr Gallant described the scene at Fishmongers' Hall that fateful day. He explained how he had been allowed out on licence to attend the London event alongside other prisoners, include Khan, in order learn about rehabilitation.

So, Darryn Frost, Steve Gallant (lol) aaaand, according to Fishmongers Hall CEO, some guy called Lukasz, all simultaneously attacked the t/rist with a narwhal tusk. Wow, what a coincidence! 😂😂😂

There were at least two narwhal tusks. Darryn Frost said Steve broke his and Steve siad in different interview that his narwhal tusk broke when he hit the attacker with it. Then Steve was unarmed, the attacker attacked him with the knives . Steve kept avoiding the knives whilst still trying to stop the attacker, together with the other two guys. All in the interviews are on youtube.
