Wow I have worked in todmorden for 4 yrs and only stumbled across this episode because of the name 😅. The copper still lives there and the locals say he is a respectable man and he still to this day swears blind that it did happen. Theres even a local UFO club that meets up once a month in a pub. I love all of your stories fella amazing
Coroner didn't visit the place where his body was found, nor call the police who found him but pronounced opposite to what they attested. Typical coroner's court at the time. Either incompetent or corrupt or both. Someone kidnapped and tortured and murdered Adamski and got away with it.

I know this story well and I live just two miles away from where this took place, just over the County border in Lancashire, and have even witnessed unexplainable objects in the sky myself, and have heard reports from others witnessing the same, it does seem as if this area is a hotspot for weird aerial activity, and has been for some years.
After studying the Admaski facts, I tend to lean towards the idea that it was most likely a family argument gone wrong that caused Mr. Adamski's death. After listening to true crime stories for so long, what has become really clear is that people hide the extent of domestic violence and family infighting really well from outsiders, so if a restraining order was taken out, it was probably way worse than anyone knew. He could have been held by the family member who the restraining order was on, possibly burned and tortured by him and/or others, and then given medical aid (a homemade salve might be unfamiliar to those who use store bought) and food by other family members who didn't agree with what the cousin's husband (and possibly accomplice) was doing to him. They probably cleaned up after he succumbed to the stress of captivity/torture and drove him as far away from the place of his death to make them think the family wasn't involved. Two men could have possibly grabbed ankles and wrists and laid him onto the top of the pile without leaving footprints, or carefully removed any footprints. Or one strong man could have put Adamski over his shoulder and hiked up the pile and laid him there, climbed back down, cleared any trace. It is a pretty common scenario with many murders of family members to drive far from home as possible and dump the body. I don't know that Mr. Godfrey's case is even related, but it is very fascinating.
If you would include photos and space fillers etc.... Your channel would sky rocket. Many people, while listening to a story, simply want something to look at. You have a great voice for this type of thing, so i'm positive in what i'm saying here. Go find some photos to go along with the story. Include photos that connect to the actual crime, and also banter shots of creepy crap just to satisfy the eyes. Take my advice, then watch what happens. Great channel, it can be even greater.
10 minutes before Alan's encounter the UFO darted around low above 3 police officers on the moors above Halifax then flew off. Five minutes later the UFO was spotted by 2 police officers sat in a patrol car in the Whitehouse pub car park. It seems the UFO was searching for any police officer on his/her own as Alan was.
Have you been following the large number of bodies found in the canals in Manchester. Do you believe some of them to be the victims of a serial killer that some have dubbed "the pusher?"
No need to mention or go on about Peter Sutcliffe. I thought the video was about Alan Godfrey experience. So many commentators on RUclips mention irrelevant stuff. They are so full of themselves. Grim.
