just writing this to help anyone who might be having a similar issue: the only way i was able to fix this was by putting someone else's sim into my phone and then checking if the sim worked. If it did, i immediately put my current sim that wasnt working back into my phone and it ended up solving the issue. Not sure as to why this worked but it did and its definitely worth a try if you have another person with a phone and sim you can test out to help
Thank you very much, my friend, after about an hour of fiddling with this and various methods of getting the signal back, after following the second Sim card removal and forced power down. It finally came back on signal.!!😃😃😃😃
Who else is Facing this problem, Here is the solution it’s not your iphone problem, its your sim problem your sim has been desibel by company sometimes so yep go to the sim care near by office yep they will solve it!
My eSim (T-Mobile, USA) is not working, after turning off/turning on I get a signal and connection, but only for 30 seconds, after which all signal and connection disappeared. I am abroad, and I am using a local provider's physical Sim card as a second line. My device is working properly. I spent over 6 hours talking T-mobile technical team, but no result. Is any suggestion?

Just lick your sim card, clean it with cloth and put it back in
