I don't know where I stand on this because I do/did like Ben I say Did because my opinion has changed of him since this times fight week, heard one guy say that Ben told him that he thought Cameron was a decent lad and didn't want to slate him, and I don't think Whittaker needed to do all the trash talk, especially if your opponent is being decent, Ben could have backed himself respectfully like saying that he thinks he's gonna win etc (you know what I mean) but he's come out with things that have made him out to be someone who thinks he's he's cut above everyone else and spoke in a way that has left him no way out. Basically talked us all into believing that the only outcome was a Whittaker win And the British public love nothing more than calling someone out on their bullshit. And they love nothing more than an underdog, a working class hero. And that's exactly what Liam was, didn't talk shit back stayed decent and let his boxing do the talking. This day and age that's who people wanna get behind if your rich and got money and your shtick is to flaunt it in front of people that are a bit less off than you, sorry but that's a 1st class ticket to having the people turn on you. God knows how he's gonna turn this round and fairplay to Liam Cameron, he's gained a fan in me, anyone that's come from nothing and has turned their life around like he has commands the respect of the public, unless you've been through addiction you don't know what it takes, especially with kids, bet he felt worthless when he had nothing but had to put on a face for his family. He underestimated Cameron completely, with all his trash BS, and showed he’s not a real pro fighter. Everybody saw that, no hiding it, and he can’t hide from himself. He’s over.
