The Garbage can monster, next to the Kitsune God is still one of the scariest in the series to me. Just something about it, how ridiculously dangerous it seems, even when compared to the Axeman ghost, or the one the God annihilated....
@@Shadow8332 Supposedly they can if they know you can see them. In truth, it’s never explicitly said what happens if they know but it’s certainly not good.
@@Shadow8332 Normal people phase through ghosts but even if they cant touch you they can definitely haunt you. Imagine a monster following you 24/7 since it finally found someone who sees them it would be hell.

It's definitely up there on the same level as Dark Souls monster design.

She prayed at their shrine to save her from a spirit, so now they're somewhat haunting / protecting her.
