Mate I just looked at a picture of myself in summer when I was consistently training boxing and I compared it to a picture I took while watching this video. My face was so slim (hollow cheeks, defined cheekbones) in summer compared to now, HOWEVER, the crazy thing is that my body fat% currently is much lower than back in summer. So I guess that shows that the optimal way of having a lean face is consistent cardio. Of course diet will always be key but I just found it interesting that despite being at a lower body fat% and eating much healthier currently, I still had a much slimmer face a few months ago just because I was doing consistent cardio

Mate I just looked at a picture of myself in summer when I was consistently training boxing and I compared it to a picture I took while watching this video. My face was so slim (hollow cheeks, defined cheekbones) in summer compared to now, HOWEVER, the crazy thing is that my body fat% currently is much lower than back in summer. So I guess that shows that the optimal way of having a lean face is consistent cardio.
Of course diet will always be key but I just found it interesting that despite being at a lower body fat% and eating much healthier currently, I still had a much slimmer face a few months ago just because I was doing consistent cardio

How does that make any sense tho? Like I thought cardio would only help if it put you a calorie deficit as th at lowers your body fat percentage

@@assassin0547 yh i think water weight and body fat are completely different. You lose the water weight through exercise and sweating, and you lose the body fat through teaching your body to access it and use it as energy through controlling insulin
I'm the same. I always notice that after a long run or any other workout that my face looks slimmer. I've never heard anyone else talk about it though so I thought it all in my head 😅
People's faces generally fill out and get wider as they age. In general people get larger as they age, in multiple ways. Ever look at an old man's ears or nose? They're always huge.

Eat a clean diet. Will do more wonders for your skin than any product could. Lots of fruit and water for a healthy glow, and avoid high sugar, processed foods cos that is what will make your skin spotty or oily
@Davejames_33 I'll do all that save for fruit. My body just doesn't do well with fruit. I'll add though that sugar and dairy together is a nightmare recipe for horrible skin. Dairy isn't necessarily bad, but with sugar too? Thats why chocolate can be horrible

Since losing a ton of body fat through exercising consistently I've noticed my face is much more angular. But I think as well it's a guy thing too. Women seem to have less of this angular look. They have more fuller cheeks, mostly because they store more body fat.
