- Zinzan Brooke joins Alex and Tinds to become the first guest of our brand new series in partnership with World Rugby, Rugby Players React.
This week, Zinzan looks back on the World Cup clashes between New Zealand and Ireland. He shares how special it is to lead the haka, discusses the famous drop goal he scored in the 1995 World Cup and remembers the great Jonah Lomu.
In each episode of Rugby Players React, a legend of the game joins Alex and Tinds to look back on some classic men’s Rugby World Cup matches.

Zinzan Brooke is the best player I have ever seen, intelligence and skills and power, could do anything
Dallaglio was better
@@chickentwisties2298 hahaah so funny hes like the 15th best if that bud
On the mark .
Would love you to stop interrupting to ask viewers to like/subscribe/comment because it's irritating enough to stop watching.
Yeah. This is ridiculous
Zinzan what a name, what a rugby player what a cool dude 👍
Awesome display of Rugby excellence. Zinzan has a special way with him, I attended one of his coaching clinics early inn his career and enjoyed his humour.
This is fantastic to watch can't wait to see the others. Thank you GBR
I believe 'The Wall' move was outlawed in recent years. Something about outlawing plays where you can't hide the ball. Same as sticking tge ball up the jersey. A pity, really. They were great moves.
Got to love a ZinZan drop goal
Love watching reactions from people who know the game in and out.
Nothing beats authentic commentators. 🎉
Good old Zinny, greatest drop kick legend!!!
That 1991 semi-final against England will never be forgotten by me, Zinny's drop kick and then Lomu's massacre of the English. Glorious.
Lomu ran over Mike Catt in the 1995 world cup, not the 1991 word cup. Lomu was only 16 and still in school in 1991...
The date obviously will be forgotten though. 🤦
I was mincing about playing for HK in the 90's. I Went down to play in the Singapore 7's for Happy Valley RFC one year . It was the first time Id Jonah face to face .I'd never seen a human specimen like that in rugby .
My diary entry read as follows ::::::
Fuck !!
Wasn't there a World Cup where the ball was botched up? The way Merhtens missed that conversion...
This is brill - ;ots more of these please :-)
All blacks are rugby😊
Need Wilkinson on this
Come on Tinds, he DOES ground it in the initial carry over the line, the touch judge a metre away to confirm the score and I'm sure he would have flagged any reservations.
❤
Our Puhoi star 😊 .
World cup year bring it on. Stars will be born.
Thansk for sharing memories
Love this. My Hero Zinzan. Woooow.
Thanks for sharing this. Bless you all Rugby players and supporters
Great format, more please!
The only top tear team LOMO never scored a single try against the mighty Springboks
Never lost too *Japan* either
😂😂😂😂😂
@@MeanAzz_13 going too very soon .On a downward spiral!!!!😊😊😊😊😊😉
Yeah because South Africa poisoned the All Black team
@@ianjacobs2998He never scored against Wales either. Big difference is Wales fans respected and loved him whereas South African fans just choose to rubbish him and to point out anything negative they can. Definitely shows who the better class fans are….Wales ❤❤❤
@@HeeniKeke🤣🤣🤣You a 🤡 Anyone that thought he wasn't GREAT would be an idiot!! *By the way the great man was married to a South African
Zin Zan one of our greatest number 8s of all time
💖🙏🏾☝🏾
I remember watching my hero drop kick from halfway.😂👍
Man Zinny, BUCK or Keiran Reid and now Ardie, if you had to choose one
The ole fingers were put well away by the end of the game for one Irish prop 😂😂
@SonnySimona 😎🤙🏾💖
