I think you know these are actually French but you need to be a little clearer in your description in order to pay respect to the dish. Beignets are a classic French dish. If you put “New Orleans Donuts” in brackets, you’re inferring that they’re Cajun. They’re not. They were introduced by French colonists in the 1800s. What would be more accurate is to write “Beignets (French donuts New Orleans style)”. Both the dough and the shape are not classically French so make sure you line up both the description and what we see. 😊
