Yes modern Bhangra was invented in England in the 60’s by Sikh Punjabi’s. It’s not the same as folk bhwngra ounjabi music that is from India. Has the modern twist to it and faster paced
Ab khote de puttar India 🇮🇳 na hunda toh punjab na hunda.
Big up PANJABI MC .Moorni BIG SONG

Why they're so many punjabi music composers from the western countries
Strong culture of fusion of music in England, and strong Punjabi communities too.
bang-ra music invented in England eh?
I thought i'm the only one who heard that!!!!
Bhangra was not invented in England lol...maybe fusion bhangra but not pure bhangra. You would think he would know this lmao
Yes the modern Bhangra you hear today that is so popular was originating from the U.K. in the 1960’s by Punjabi Sikh’s
@@riyadinho6795 which is fine, but bhangra as a whole originated in Punjab. The first people to practice bhangra practiced it in Punjab which later migrated with Punjabi Sikh population that went to the UK. There it was modified and made popular in a global sense.
TejRapProductions Yh so I’m saying the Bhangra ppl listen now that is enfused with western style music was created by U.K. Punjabi’s obviously the traditional folk music version was created in Punjab but that’s not what’s popular nowadays you get me
Ok we on the same page haha
@@TejRapProductions this mis conception happened because of bhagra is not documented
