      @@joshlock4627 you’re not a fan of the Fox team? I don’t mind them too much. I would like more variety and mixing and matching, like a home local or something for each game. For example (ignoring contracts) get a Tom Moody in when in Perth, Tubby Taylor for Sydney that sort of thing…

    In my view Its a double edge sword for Broadcasters. On one side they pay the money to have the rights to broadcast and they also spend a gazillion bucks to provide the production value we see in Tech, Wages, and consumables.
    On the other side they have to recoup some cost from Tickets and advertising, but because the production value is top quality, less spectator attendance is happening because you can immerse yourself in the broadcast.

    • @LOLxUnique
      @LOLxUnique Год назад +5

      It’s a two way relationship. You need the broadcast to attract people to watch the game. Once they enjoy watching it on tv, they go to the game itself. And a good atmosphere at the game provides a good broadcast.
      You need both essentially.

    How about getting a decent commentary team ??
    Dismiss the Woke Gilchrist . Mark Howard has zero idea and sounds like a 14 year old . Who is The English woman ?? Michael Vaughan is dull enough
    Mark Waugh is a great commentator .
    I’ve studied the history of cricket and the SCG (I played rugby league on the ground in my youth) .
    The everyday person would be surprised with the secrets / rooms within the SCG . Then the old stands - the extra dressing rooms in the Churchill Stand etc
    The secret wine cellar location / routine between players and ground staff
    SCG number 2 .

      Or sort of just volunteer and say yes to anything tv related as you slowly move towards doing sport or something specific. Then when people know you it gets easier.
