Watching this makes me wanna cry. The music is awesome, but the closeups of Peter shows how incredibly worn down he is due to his addiction to alcohol and cocain 😔 I’m glad he made a full recovery and was sober the final year of his life 🖤💚 Rest in peace big beautiful green man 🖤💚

Saw them live in 2008 jagermerster tour in south Florida in a venue the size of a Denny’s restaurant. I was so lucky 50 feet away from stage upstairs overlooking them. Had I known it would be his last concert I would have bought more merchandise. Still have their tour poster on my wall and a typo O necklace.. Dude was king.

I saw these guys on their first tour as Type O Negative and they were just an opening band for "The Exploited" I saw them 12 times in total, I lived near Boston Massachusetts and they played around this area a lot due to them being from NY, I only saw them in small clubs, I shook Peter's hand in 1991 on their first leg of "slow deep and hard" tour when they were an opening band! They were so much better in small clubs and funny with the way they interacted with the crowd in a smaller intimate setting!

    such a short set
Peter's a legend for so many things, he stood out. he's like Lemmy from motorhead...they both strummed actual power chords.....
instead of single notes they'd play 3 notes like a guitarist would do, and this gives the notes more feel...
    RIP peter
