No matter how popular this band is, I still feel that Type O Negative is the most underrated band in music history. These guys as whole as one are fantastic! I have been around many many decades of excellent rock. RIP Peter and Type O Negative. Sadly missed in my life.
They were amazing live. Seen them 20 years ago in detroit. Sadly cradle of filth was the headliner, apologies if you like cradle but Type O stole the show.
@@thekingoftown07 I'm a huge fan of both bands, I never got the chance to see TON live but I saw Cradle live in 2010 and they killed it. I only recently got into Type O and it kills me when I think about Peter and what could have been if he didn't pass.
This was ~3 years before we lost him. His eyes looked empty, but he was still full of love and talent. I'd give everything I have just to give him a hug. Rest in peace, Peter 💚
Josh was more of a textural keyboard-player than a traditional piano player; and Pete, while a very skilled and distinctive bass player, would drop out a lot, meaning that Kenny and Johnny kind of had to anchor the band. You can see it on Kenny’s face, the concentration and responsibility of having to be the responsible one lol
Indeed very true, also they were tuned down to B standard, so it was basically like having two bassists in the band haha, during their doomy, punky parts for sure it gave that effect

such a short set
Peter's a legend for so many things, he stood out. he's like Lemmy from motorhead...they both strummed actual power chords.....
instead of single notes they'd play 3 notes like a guitarist would do, and this gives the notes more feel...
RIP peter
This Dude has a really high pitched voice!
