@@JonIsJustTooLoud I mean, still makes more sense than Gibson's pricing strategy, the more reliced more expensive kind of mindset. Heavy aged is always more more expensive. :) Great playing btw Jon!!
When Clapton has his guitar festivals in the Caribbean, everyone shows up. Mayer, Bonamassa, Bonnie Rait etc. But there's alway's one great guitarist not there. It is you Jon. It would be crazy cool to see you up there with those greats because I think your style of playing would impress them all.
Absolutely beautiful guitar. Way out of my budget, but certianly a sight to see. I did get an excellent condition used 2017 Custom 24 which I love and meets my needs. When I got my first 2017 SECU 24 I thought " wow , can a guitar really get much better than this?". Then I got a 2021 American CE24 and said "wow I didnt think it possible, but this is even nicer , but surely a CU 24 cant be much better?". Well I got my CU 24 and dang proven wrong again. Its my go to guitar. Love the feel and sound. Looks arent half bad either 😂! Regardless SE,CE,Custom 24 or Private stock, PRS builds an excellent guitar no matter the budget. They might not be for everybody, and thats ok, but hard to argue they arent at the very least well generally well built and amazingly good playing guitar.
Thanks for sharing, Jon! Beautiful playing as always! Secondly, that's a BEAUTIFUL guitar! Thanks, but not for me, it would be "too precious" and I would be too worried about scratching or dinging it. A Jackson JS is more my thing for the moment.
I have always wanted a PRS. I still haven't picked out my July birthday guitar yet, but I am seriously looking at the SC? CE? 24 standard satin. Good bones, in a simple package. Just like me!😁
@@charlesharper7292 I own a 2021 American made CE24. Love the guitar! I played one of the SECE24's at sweetwater through my helix. Captured a lot of what I think makes the CE24 amazing, at a price considerably easier to swallow than the American made one. The new sandblasted SECE24 looks pretty sweet imho too! Best of luck. They are great guitars, just maybe different than what you may be used to if you play a LP or Strat as your daily guitar. Its not a bad thing, but many people complain it doesnt sound like either... and it shouldnt, it isn't 🤣. Give it some time, tweak your amp settings and appreciate it for what it is instead of what it isnt 🙂
Amazing looking guitar, but you are right this is a collectors item. I believe a Core would be just fine as a real workhorse, not a pretty but sounds just as good. I would be distracted all the time with the patterns, hard to see the fret birds and dots for sure.
The overall quality of finish on their Private Stock instruments is exemplary. Would I buy one?, absolutely not. They’re merely nothing more than core instruments dressed for dinner in a smart restaurant. 👍😎
@@mylogify Buying a nice PRS SE CE 24 Satin was even better ! Same guitar as the PRS SE CE 24 but more resonant without all that gloss..PLUS a $200 savings !.😉
The one thing I have to say is their SE line is very uneven. The John Mayers are not good. I think they use different pickups and they are sterile sounding

Great that they actually didn't lose time on making it look older, but put more work towards the details and priced accordingly.
Priced highly you mean lol

I'm sharing this with my niece. She's as big a guitar freak as I am.
What a beautiful guitar. WOW!
Awesome!
You are the best. I love your videos and your playing. simply amazing.
Thank you!
Someone finally made the cavity covers on back match the guitar.
Bravo!
For that price I’d also wear that tree to match to the body as a cover 😂.
hahahah

The more it goes the more awesome gear you test
I sure hope so! 😊

Guitar is cool but the playing is awesome! Love it!
I think i might like the guitar more if it just had an ebony board?
Thank you!

yes you are right
Very nice guitar. But then I may be biased
lol
There was a reason they kept this private out of reach, from the public 😂
Precious wood precious work 😮
Hahaha

Hmmm...New Car or a new PRS Got a coin ? 🤔
lol!!!
Buying a nice Ibanez Prestige for 2000 and using transportation, and keep saving money.... :D

@@worthmoremusic Well, that guitar is interesting... That looks like a value, I want to try one some day!
@@mylogify Love mine. Grateful PRS made a truly affordable guitar for those who may never had an opportunity to own one...and it's only 7.3 LBS !
I can't imagine playing that guitar on a dark stage.. it will confuse me all the time with all those lines in the fretboard
lol..i know
Would be afraid to play it on a well lit stage at that price.

👍 my wallet says NO 😂
The Planet Earth thanks you!
hahahah
Beautiful, but lacking in tone???? To me at least.
👍
I have almost all PRS, this one sounds pretty shrill and lifeless
👍
Stereotype collectors...
Like some guy buys one and is broke for a couple years.🤣👍
Yes!! That’s the word I was searching for haha
