Yes Brad when John joined Little River Band and they had to tour the US etc it was the first time John had actually left Australia for any length of time...He missed his family especially wife Jill....so he penned this song for her....Most musicians who have to tour etc can understand it's lyrics as that's the lot for most of them...written and sung so poignantly with all the 'feels'
Depending on my mood and what's happening in my life when I listen to this beautiful song sung by the master, I will either have a little tear in my eyes or I'll be crying like a baby. This song is just so beautiful, and John delivers the raw emotion of it like no one else can. I've said it before and I'll say it again, John is the GOAT!!!!
Thankyou Brad. You can't help but stop and listen. No matter what song John sings, his voice is like a magnet...you get pulled to it, especially when he sings live. ❤
@AnnieD.1982 Hi Annie. I hope your weekend was a good one. My weekend's been busy, but I am waiting patiently for another John reaction to pop up somewhere . 🥰❤️
@Jojomac-ix7oi Thanks Jojo 😍 I did have a good weekend spending time with family. There hasn't been a whole lot of reactions for John this weekend... hopefully there will be more later today. Hope to catch you in another live soon!! 🥰 🤗💗💗
"Please understand what I do." Which is singing and touring, something Jill Farnham wasn't into as she wished to remain a private person with their sons. Jill and the family kept John grounded but they are a perfect pair.
I have been lucky enough to have seen our amazing John live many times over the years even in small pub settings. He is truly remarkable and also a very funny, humble Aussie.💕🇦🇺
This is such a beautiful and emotional song and sung to perfection by John and with such passion and emotion. The goat can do no wrong, just the greatest.
Thanks Brad - the guitarist, Phil Buckle (Southern Sons) also wrote it with John and his producer, Ross Fraser. The articulation and power and emotion are just second to none. I would like to hear you sing this to your wife. ❤❤
When he does that G5 falsetto note with the word “I” on the second chorus repeat, I don’t know if it’s just me but that is one heart melting note. We don’t hear John use his falsetto much but when he does it’s like a warm mug of hot chocolate with a pink marshmallow 😊😂❤
Thanks Brad, another lovely and respectful reaction to The Voice 😊❤ This performance really shows off his voice. With the simple instrumentals you hear every note, and every one is perfect and full of the right amount of emotion ❤❤ Top 10 Farnsey song for me. Thanks for appreciating Farnsey like we do and continuing to have him on your channel. I can't wait for more!!❤❤
Very emotional vocals. Powerful performance. Today I found out that Angelina Jordan and Scott Hoying did a collaboration together in a live performance of "All Of You", with one of the coauthors playing the piano. Just in case you're interested.
When you listen to this song, you begin to understand why he hated touring internationally and didn't bother really trying to make it overseas after his first attempt.
Your comment about power and passion brings to mind another Aussie singer, Kasey Chambers. Please do react to her cover of Eminem's Lose Yourself. It would be interesting to hear what you think of it.
Brad, you will notice that John does not do the 15 changes of pitch and tone in one word that you did at the start. Pay attention to John. It’s a blight on modern singing.
the best male singer on the planet
Written by John - to his wife . Heartfelt
Thank you for reacting to our King, Mr John Farnham 🇦🇺🫡

Love this song and performance, probably my favourite. Now time to check out “a touch of paradise” live from this same concert

That pause, the audience knew what was coming.
John is the GOAT, this was written for his wife, John is a rabbit hole you need to go down.

You absolutely must review his live version of " DAYS TO COME". That is insane vocals and world message needed to be shared with the world.

I was a teen American living in Australia 1968-70. I have been a fan ever since.

@@Dr_KAP You just made my heart melt all over again and I now will be watching it again to catch that. Love ya Kappy ❤️❤️
How does he do that Kappy? I have heard him do that many times, and always thought to myself - how? But thank God he can and he did ❤️ 😊
@@AussieDebb Well said ladies!! 🥰🥰❤❤
That’s probs my favourite. It’s soooo pretty. Makes me emotional. You can feel his sadness of being away. ❤
Thanks Mate
Love this song, and your reaction- thankyou 💕
Love our Aussie guy Johnny Farnham, and love your song too! Great voices!

He will allways be my nr 1 favorite singer and master of every music genre there is ❤

I love the way that he says in the intro that singing this song gives him "a chance to breathe "!
I'm going in to the kitchen to dance with my wife now.
Great song and a great idea!
When you listen to this song, you begin to understand why he hated touring internationally and didn't bother really trying to make it overseas after his first attempt.
My fave Farnsey song 🎵 ❤️
Power and passion, and I'd add precision.
Thats our aussie John

Mate you have to hear him sing Gethsemane
It's all about being on tour away from his wife.❤
