I have one old laptop which is acer aspire 4741 with i3-330M processor..i want to update my ram to 8gb but maximum frequency supported by mother board is 1066mhz ,can i install two 4gb ram of 1600mhz frequency? Will this ram work? Please reply thanks
I tried many things, but it did not work for me, like updating bios also. and tried many other solution from internet. Do you have any idea if it will work, if I upgrade windows to 10, I am on windows 7 currently.

In my case the adaptor was loss ( and it needed extreme pressure to fix it , I have to buy new I think since it happened most of time due to small loss annoying)

My adaptor was slightly loose try removing and reinserting all wires again. Quite stupid but worked for me
