I was always pissed about the replacing Terrance Howard in Iron Man 2
Hollywood is ugly.
you must never walked down Hollywood Boulevard
Sad thing is, it's everywhere in life. People are ugly.
According to terryology, Terrence was in 2 iron man films.
Him calling RDJ was probably not the way to go. This is one of the reasons actors hire agents. At the end of the day, Terrence had a bad agent.
Terrence howard super villain story lol
Dr.Dooooooooom
@@anthonytovar3943ZUUUUUUUL
He should come back as War Machine since Marvel is doing this multiverse shit now
He probably could have come back as a variant of war machine in part of a multiverse story..... But, not if he's acting bonkers like this and also blaming everyone else for "poor Terrance, I got shafted out of war machine role"!!!!
Pretty sure he's in the new Deadpool movie
Facts ✨ this dude was great I loved when he was like good, cuz I'm bout to blow it out the sky . Bruh he looked the part then they bright my uncle in to read for the part....
Don cheadle been a skrull all along. And no one noticed.
has there ever been a recast where the original actor comes back? i know it happens in soap operas but what about mainstream movies and tv
Guess Robert didn’t love him 3000.

He is Mr.Glass the ultimate villain😂
He meant Clive Owens.
i was like, "What??"
And this guy meant Clive Owen.
Thank you! I’ve been trying to figure out who the hell he meant to say because Clive Davis Ironman sounds absolutely insane lol
maybe he was trying to avoid future litigation
Okay 👍 👌
Imagine how much cool wierd stuff Joe Rogan has gotten from guests
I'd love to be able to sit down with him and hear all the stories that aren't able to be shared on the pod

I need to see a Clive Davis suit up montage scene.
It's RUclips.... someone will make it happen.
Clive Davis or Clive Owens

One of the top episodes if JRE, TRUST ME!
This guy said in the very interview that he remembers being in his mothers womb. He’s probably not remembering the iron man thing right ….
He's also given totally different stories about his exit from the Iron Man films in previous interviews. He's literally nuts. Don't even get me started on his weird Terryology bullshit. Bloke's trying to be some weird cult leader.
Yep.😂 guy is nuts
He’s lost his mind
Don Cheto is a skrull. Terrance can come back.
Marvel was taking a swing with Clive Davis...LMAO.
Hey anything is possible
He has told this story so many time, anyone ever hear Robert's side
And everyone just believes this dudes version of…. Everything.🤦🏽
Lol. Well never hear his side because RDJ is a two face snake.
@@wazgoodjjI heard of Iron Man but a Iron Face Snake Man 😂😂😂😂wtf
@@daviddawes293Terrence Howard was the first actor hired for Iron man and its pretty much a well known fact that him and Jon Favreau fought for RDJ to play as Tony Stark. What version could RDJ possibly tell? Especially considering Terrence Howard was signed on already for a three picture deal lol
RDJ has no argument.
Um, this is what Dunning Krueger looks like… he has a basic understanding of some concepts but from that starting point he begins to make critical extrapolation errors. It’s almost like he read a grade 6 textbook to get the basics but the rest of his knowledge came from RUclips… and that textbook is from the 60’s
Agreed. He is well spoken when he wants to be, but that's not indicative of any sort of understanding of the complexities of what he is talking about.

Terrence Howard REAL QUOTE:
It's like when I'm right, I'm right. When I'm wrong, I coulda been right, so I'm still right, cuz I coulda been wrong, You know? - and I'm sorry cuz I could be wrong right now. I COULD BE wrong, but I'M RIGHT--
Get Rich or Die Tryin' with 50 Cent (Marcus), and the hothead Terrence Howard (Bama)
Bama: - the mfka keep fidgetting in your car. You shoot first and you ask questions later.
Marcus: Shoot!?!
Bama: You shoot first and you ask questions later.
Marcus: You just met him!
Bama: He fidgeting man! l'm right about him. l'm always right. It's like when l'm right, I'm right and when I'm wrong, I coulda been right, so l'm still right cuz I coulda been wrong.
Marcus: That makes sense.. Come on... say that again.
Bama: It's like when I'm right, I'm right. When I'm wrong, I coulda been right, so I'm still right, cuz I coulda been wrong, You know? - and I'm sorry cuz I could be wrong right now. I COULD BE wrong, but I'M RIGHT--
My favorite scene in the film. It's when Bama was driving Marcus and his homie that Bama just met. Dudes in the backseat, making Bama Hella uncomfortable by 'fidgeting' too much. Based on how Bama and Marcus were introduced in prison showers, it's clear he was just on-edge all the time and why he was in charge of 50s security aka bodyguard. Dude saved 50s life when he was greenlit and a group of dudes attempt to stab him in prison showers. No way he would've survived that solo, so that's how they met.
Ladies and gents this quote laid the groundwork to this episode of JRE. Why did he all of a sudden come under spotlight? He had a speech about this very topic at Oxford Union back in December 2017, trying to get students interested in his theory to further research what he already put together and in April 2024 there was a repost of parts of that Oxford speech which went viral.
If peeing your pants is cool call me Clive Davis lol if you get it

Piscean energy during Saturn in Pisces with Neptune in Aquarius causes personal grandeur based egocentric behavior exactly like this- I’m going to rebuild the periodic table very easily & soon everyone will thank me later.
The linchpin portion was as hilarious as when I ate too many shrooms one time- I was totally sure I could show everyone how if I just let em see the insides of my eyelids- they’d see the cool colors I could change the firework display happening in my mind. I’d be like watch this: and close my eyes & say “See? See how the colors change?”
🤓 Fun times.

Even Anthony Mackie

Robert Downey Jr is not a real one apparently.
If you ever thought he was, you're easily duped.
Have u seen how he dresses? He def isnt
Well he had Gibsons back when everyone ditched him.

Did he just invent a real life tesseract?
I still think Cheadle is a terrible recast. I still don’t see why mcu ever needed both war machine and falcon as basically same character. Both should have just been written off completely imo
Too late now
War machine is more necessary than falcon imo
Dog shit casting! He’s the worst part of the Iron Man movies. They should have gotten someone like Will Smith. Oh Michael Jai, White. Someone badass. John Tito didn’t have to look anything up a military guy.
@@tylers6611 he didn’t say anything about the necessary. He said Casting .
@@tylers6611 he could have been a great replacement for iron man too . Cheadle just isn’t leasing man action star material imo. Neither is mackie tho . Aldis hodge might have worked but I think Disney is essentially anti-masculinity* at this point. Plus most everything in phase 4/5 sucks massively so hard not to be more critical and disappointed as I love marvel characters of both genders and feel they are getting both VERY wrong since infinity war
Agreed. Cheadle definitely was a terrible recast. Doesn't give a military vibe whatsoever. Terrance did more than Don but honestly both fell short IMO.
He means Clive Owen, not Clive Davis, right?
That has to hurt you.
He’s still a great actor as you can tell. He plays an insane person so well.
Terrence is such a good dude and good actor. Way better than Don Cheadle as war machine. It’s sucks most people don’t like him.
This guy thinks he remembers being in the womb, I wouldn't want to work with him either 😂 top level weirdo
The way he looked at the suit and said "next time, baby." I always felt like moving forward Terrence really would've shown the world what he could do and would've added so much more charisma to the role than Don, who I also love as a performer but just didn't fit as well to me....
I think he beat his wife and got arrested for possessing crack before.
I'm so glad he got canned, I just couldn't take his goofy self serious, immersion breaking even
Whereas Don brought a seriousness that was necessary for his position, nailing that scene in Secret Invasion against Samuel mayne

Narrative
First 2 min of the podcast and it’s unbelievable bs how he remembers being in his moms belly and his hand was his first friend just wow lol 😂
He stole that from a movie. "Look who's talking". The baby in the womb notices his hand.
That’s the exact same thing I was told by a dude outside my club. Homey was on a coke bender and was telling me how he remembers kicking his mom from the womb because he wanted out. Says he remembers the doctors face when he was delivered.
Cocaine is a heluva drug..🤦🏽🤦🏽
@daviddawes293 Robert Downey refused to return for the Ironman sequel to work with terrence howard because Howard was using drugs on set. Now, considering RDJ still smokes weed, what kind of drugs would someone be doing that gives you delusions of being watched, followed, and your phone bugged? Amphetamines.
Terrence also admittedly has high-level chemist friends.
So, I'd say he's probably doing meth, but not street meth. Probably some special meth a friend makes for him.
Lived it. Most people have small minds and can not Comprehend anything
Get him on again with Eddie Bravo

People forget he’s an actor and right now his whole cadence and mannerisms are based off Katt
No it’s not he’s been this way forever
I do agree with your underlying point though, he is an actor. Meaning he’s more trained to manipulate his mannerisms, vernacular, cadence at any given time.
Did he just say they planned on making war machine the main character… um, I think he’s confused.
They should have made Terrence Howard come back at the end of Secret Invasion.
More ridiculous math please! 1 plus 1 is 11? 😂
So you didn't watch or comprehend anything lol sad
@@ChrisLindeman I make more money sitting on the toilet than you make in month.
Just because I think Howard’s “math for the smooth brained” is ridiculous doesn’t mean I don’t employ objective thinking.
Just because Howard can’t discern between additive identity and multiplicative identity doesn’t mean that 1 x 0 = 0 is a false statement. If you would like me to prove to you WHY 1 x 0 = 0 provide me your contact information.
@@ChrisLindeman also the one of the most intelligent individuals I ever met in my 45 years on this planet worked as a janitor and maintenance man, he was also a member of Mensa International for a time (where I met him).
One’s intelligence and choice of profession can be mutually exclusive, the fact that you assume people who choose to work a low paying service job must be unintelligent shows your lack of critical thinking and untested personal biases (like someone else we both know). Let me clue you in: a service economy job can mean low pay, yes, but it also means low responsibility. Doing menial repetitive tasks also means your mind is free to focus on other things.
@@jamiegray4948 I watched someone who has a warped understanding of maths, someone who’s drank the Kool Aid made by member of the Nation of Islam, who also had a warped understanding of maths. (Look up where Howard got his ideas, no it is not original to his thinking as he has told the world).
I would love for Joe Rogan to get someone like Andrew Wiles or Terence Tao on to debate Howard and watch Howard’s head spontaneously combust.
The problem is Howard convincingly speaks to people who know very little about maths but yet refuses to debate any established mathematician.
It is very easy to prove beyond any doubt that 1 x 0 = 0 but I would need a chalk or white board and a observer who understands basic equations

RDJ refused to make another MCU film if Howard continued in his role. TH can spin it however he wants but he wasn't making friends and it costs him dearly. The rumor was RDJ didn't want any drug use on the premises while he was present. RDJ has a tragic history with drug abuse so he is very black and white on that topic.
RDJ was DEAD in Hollywood because of his excessive shenanigans.. He should be a bit humble
What are you talking about? I remember that time. No one wanted to work with RDJ back then because he was a drug addict constantly getting arrested and in and out of rehab. Terrance was a big star back then in both black and mainstream films. Terrance was casted before RDJ with an 8 million dollar contract per movie for three films. RDJ wanted to play Tony Stark. Marvel was reluctant and on the verge of bankruptcy and didn't want to take a risk on RDJ. Clive Davis made sense as a safe choice because he was a big box office draw back in the early 2000s like movie star twin Gerald Butler. Terrance convinced Marvel to take a chance on Robert and used his clout to get him the role. No one expected Iron Man to be as successful as it was breaking bank at the box office. When it was time to renew, RDJ wanted to be the highest paid star since he was the star of the movie. To do so, they gutted Terrance Howard paycheck from the agreed upon $8 million from the first film to $1 million to return in the mediocre in my opinion second film as a take it or leave it deal. Terrance asked Howard to use his clout to help him with the pay salary and RDJ refused to. So Terrance walked away or was fired and replaced with Don Cheadle who took the 1 million dollar deal like Katt Williams/Kevin Hart situation without the humor. Terrance knows his worth and doesn't settle for less simply because he's a black man working in a white/Jewish ran world. He actually still has this thing called morals and integrity and is not afraid to call out things that cost his acting gigs like his Iron Man paycut from $8 million dollars to $1 million, Empire being the highest rated show on TV which the black cast getting paid less than the white/Jewish cast of Big Bang Theory, refusing to take the jab, or calling out the esmasculation of onscreen male roles in Hollywood. He's a real one not afraid to speak his mind.
I'm not a genius so I can validate scientific beliefs but I know enough about history that many men of science who were laughed at by their peers and labelled as crazy usually turn out to be correct in the long run. So I'll remain open minded.
I loved Tony and Rhodey' chemistry in the first movie and thought Howard was the better Rhodey. I didn' feel that same chemistry with Don & Robert in the subsequent movies. He was one of my least favorite characters, never found his jokes funny, and could care less he almost died in Civil War. Chris Evans/Anthony Mackie, and Sebsatian Stan had better chemistry. Cheadle is a great actor but Terrance was the better Rhodey in my opinion. Sorry he missed out on that Marvel money, but glad he's not apart of these garbage movie to fillful his multiple film appearances contract obiligation. Hence, Cheadle's horrible role in Secret Wars. It's a blessing in disguise things worked out the way they did.
Someone in here yappin, Don is by far the better War Machine, because he has a serious position & you can't take Terrence seriously, that alone is reason enough to recast him
Also glad the guy who played for Hammer Industries wasn't written for reappearance, him & Mr Howard just didn't mesh well with the level of believability the rest of the actors could muster
@Dee-no3sn there is now way they signed him to a 3 movie, 8 million dollar deal. They were broke at the time. Also, if it was a contract, then he would have been entitled to his pay even with a re-cast.
He's a liar and a narcissist. Evidence? He stole the "in the womb" story from a 1989 movie called "Look who's talking".
Terrence is that friend who steals and embellishes stories. He's just not self aware enough to pick up the social cues like people rolling their eyes. He tells.these stories and thinks "man, they really think I'm cool now".
The way he talks about Oprah winfrey, the remarks about sex and spiritual connections is very cult leader-ish.
Dude did an interview on the breakfast club a few years ago. Sat with his hands on the table like a supervillain the whole time. Palms off he table, just the tips touching, out in front like he was playing a piano.

That’s what they want you to hear dude been saying this for years before this interview but nobody took him serious.
@MistaPea106 RDJ refused to return for the sequel and work with Terrence. Terrence was using drugs on set and RDJ is a former addict. Now, consider that RDJ still smokes weed, so what type of drug would Terrence be doing that RDJ didn't like?
Hmm, Terrence admittedly has chemist friends. Chemists make meth. Meth causes delusions of being watched, followed, phone bugged, and after a few days of no sleep you think you start to unlock the keys to the universe.
All the signs are pointing to the obvious answer as to what is going on with terrence.
He did not say he got him the audition.. he help bond him out of jail so he had a chance to dummy
@@tonylopez5089 really? Because in another interview he claims that the studio thought RDJ was too much of a risk to hire so he told them to use 1 million out of his contract to cover the insurance for RDJ to be cast.
He also claims a studio that was on the brink of bankruptcy and was taking a huge risk on the first iron man movie and had no idea there would be a sequel at the time, signed him to a 3 picture deal for 8 million each.
