Welcome back to windows buddy ! I totally agree with you.. windows 7 was great.. It took me soo long to give in and switch to 10, lol. But I'm starting to play with linux again.. learning more everyday, but not ready for it to be my daily driver..
@@Tater26013 There was one contractor who took home well over $400k from ADSBexchange in total. Because of the "it's never enough" and "I wish I had thought of it first" factor, he apparently wants to start a similar site so he can "cash in" down the line. Spouts off as if it's all about the "community", but in reality, it's apparently still all about the cash for this guy. Feed who you want, but that's the background. Having a well-backed business serving a community looking for "unfiltered" data is not a bad thing. I guess profit is evil? Who knew.
I also watched the last video on setting up the remote box. I understand you should be able to download and install offline maps. I have attempted to do that but I have been unsuccessful. Any idea how to get offline maps.
For a ham radio channel this is refreshingly detailed regarding the programming know-how. Thanks! ☺
Wow, thanks! Glad it helps!
Thanks for this Steve, it's always great to have more options!
You bet!
It does the thing! I love having alternatives.
Yatta!
Looking forward to you adding GPS support!
Its getting closer!
You've been talking to Carlos 😉 Always good to have options.
Carlos is awesome. He can be my wingman anytime.

Linux is missing a few killer apps for me - I use it for everything except for daily driving.
Timely. Thanks for this 👍
You're welcome 😄
That saying is an Old Chinese Curse ... 🤣
Exactly!
I can't keep up with all your videos on my to-do list!😂
#TeamReplay FTW!
I think it's apocryphal, but the meaning is still pretty darned clear. 🤣
Indeed
Don't forget MLAT!
Ooh - I need to go over MLAT in a future video! Stay tuned.
I take it there is some sort of drama going on.
I look forward to the update on it. Lol
Drama yuck!
I was kinda wondering the same thing, WTH is going on with ADS-B exchange. edit: OH now I see!

Traitor! You left macOS? Boo!
Apple made the choice easy. I love macOS, I'm not a fan of Apple's business practices.
