How much did it sell for?
Well let's just say that I was hoping to get over 20k, but it only got close to 20k but not over. Still a good result considering I bought it years ago for way less but I think I missed the height of the 80 Series craze, probably should have sold it in summer '21 but back then I still thought I was going to keep her forever.
@@TheEastwoodMan I found the auction with some googling, but yeah, that's a shame, a triple locked 80 in your condition should always sell for more than 20k. :(
I agree on the auction end price but the gentleman who won the auction definitely got a good deal and he knows it because he is a true 80 series longtime fan. Plus he was a genuine joy to deal with in terms of paperwork and shipping the truck. So I think it was a win-win across the board.
