I too suffer from female pattern baldness and I’ve realized sooner I act upon fixing the issue, better chance I will have of getting back the hair I once had. I’m doing derma rolling weekly and I use rosemary oil, jojoba oil, clove, and pumpkin oil (natural dht blocker!) mix for my scalp. I’ve purchased the red light therapy hat to use after the derma rolling(also use the hat every other day). I mixed the instant coffee to my shampoo and let that sit on my hair through my shower. I might mix the instant coffee with the oil mix as well! I hope to see the result from this as you did. Good luck to both of us 😊

    I been use black tea. I find it less of a mess. I just dab the wet tea bag on my scalp after letting it steep in hot water. Has slightly less caffeine than coffee but should still do the trick

    Great video, I read all 3 research papers and almost started mixing coffee together and then had the thought.... The papers stated that "caffeine" was used not coffee..Why not just buy the caffeine liquid straight from Amazon And spread directly to your Head? Or why not just spray caffeinated water from the store?

    Any non flavored regular coffee works. I say non-flavored because you want to avoid extra additives like sugar etc. I use Folgers and have been doing coffee washes twice a week for almost a month, and I find myself needing to trim my hair twice as much in half the regular time

    Anyone else tried coffee for hair growth?? This is my first time, however it's not my first time using Minoxidil. I have used minoxidil several times in the past and it has never worked well for me, something I have stated in my previous videos. And I will not be re-purchasing Minoxidil in the future. I have also been on Dutasteride, TWICE, and it showed little progress. I will never use Dutasteride again. I also doubt I will ever use Finasteride. And I will never consider a hair transplant under any circumstances.

      Yes, I did combine Minoxidil with the treatment as stated in the video, and I doubt I will be using it again in the future. I have used Minoxidil before and saw little progress. I have nothing against pharmaceuticals or natural treatments, and I see no reason for people not to test both products and see what works for them.

    Every time someone comes and talks about treating baldness with coffee, the other talks about micro needling, and the other talks about an oil in the kitchen that grows hair. And in the end, you find that they all use minoxidil and block dht tablets

    Hi John, thank you for the information and for sharing your journey! Do you think it’s possible for regrowth without using Minoxidil? I only ask because I’m a Norwood 6-7 and I started my journey 3 weeks ago and I’ve read and heard mixed views on Minoxidil.

    • @John.Harper
      @John.Harper  Год назад +2

      Greetings Chris. I believe it's possible. Minoxidil didn't play a significant role in my growth journey. I've tried it twice, and each time results were disappointing. It caused my existing hair to grow faster, but I didn't see any new growth. However, if I were able to stimulate a miniaturized follicle to grow again usually through dermarolling and natural DHT inhibitors, Minoxidil helped that follicle to grow faster. That being said, science backs Minoxidil, so there is no harm in giving it a go for a few months to see the results.

    Thats a great result but difficult to know which of the 3 ingredients worked? I have thinning hair. I'm hoping it's the DIY, as Minoxidil is expensive. From what I have observed, it doesn't work for everyone (if anyone). One lady used it for 5 years and it did nothing for her. I think I'll give the DIY remedy a go and see where it takes me. Thanks for sharing.

      You have to combine a topical and drug procedure, if not, the procedures are usually useless. For androgenic allopecia in men: finasteride 0.5 mg daily could be good, plus dermarolling plus caffeine oil mixture or minoxidil 2% topical. Usually that gives results over a year or 2
